The Elections for the new "Head of Counsel"

12-12-2003, 02:28
Hu-dee Shang-tu of the Greenlove Party: As a devout enviromentalist and extreme liberal Hu-dee will not allow for the reformation of the Monarchy and will allow for the lifting of the ban on the Communist Party but would force them to accept a multi-party system of government. Hu-dee would also allow for the independence of Tibet and the recognition of the _Taiwan government. He is very popular in Southern China but is not expected to sweep up anything else.

Ginsen Ho of the Fiscal Party: As the CEO of the Ti-mez Corporation Ginsen is very keen in getting passed into law Government support of Capitalism and a law that would continue the ban on Communism and expand it into Socialism. He would allow for a Ceremonial Monarchy to exist but it would have very little real power and the Head of Counsel would hold the true power, Ginsen would allow for Tibet to have some self rule but be required to remain apart of Perfect China for at least ten years before a vote would be allowed to see if Tibe would wish 1. Total Independence 2. Total Annexation or 3. Limited Self Rule. He would also recognize the government in _Taiwan as independent of Perfect China. He is very popular in the cities and Northern China.

Gen. Song Ten-gu of the Veteran's Party: General Song Ten-gu is a heavy supporter of Perfect China's Military and would wish for the nation to keep it's main focus on it's military and military campaigns across the world. He would allow for the Monarchy to hold some power in the nation but would request a system of checks and balances (except in wartime when the Monarchy would be given total power). Song would never allow for Tibet to gain independence nor will his government recognize _Taiwan as independent. No one is quite sure about his rate of success but he is very popular in Western China.

Fairlyn Bao of the Center Party: Fairlyn is a supporter of revisions in the new Constitution and will force a Bill of Rights to be created that will protect the rights of the citizens of Perfect China. She would spread the nations focus on the follwoing, International Issues, Social Welfare, Education, Healthcare, and Defense. Fairlyn would allow for a Ceremonial Monarchy to exist but it would hold little power (even in wartime it's role will be ceremonial). Fairlyn would allow for Tibet and _Taiwan Independence and will also try to repair the damage caused by the Communist Government to both Tibet and the Religions of Perfect China but Communism (she will push to keep Communism Ban for ten years before a vote can be called on either letting it back in or banning it forever). She is considered most likely to win.

As diplomatic representative of the Allied Consumerist Nations, I would like to announce that our region is openly supporting the candidacy of Ginsen Ho of the Fiscal Party. Although we do not entirely agree with his stances regarding the independences of Taiwan and Tibet, we believe he would be the best choice for Perfect China. Should he be elected, a formal invitation to Perfect China from the Allied Consumerist Nations would be extended. May the election be fair to all.
