my last thread on the forum caused some grief, primarily because I didn’t express my motives properly. In my wanting to have a region modeled after the book, The Dispossessed, I created Annares. Some of you wanted a detailed explanation as to what this region is all about. “Anarchy for all!” just didn’t cut it I guess. Annares is a region of anarchy, no government, as displayed in the book. Being so, everything is equal for everyone – everything is in balance – share and share alike. There is also no hierarchy system.
You don’t spend hours doing mindless work that you hate – instead you voluntary do the work you enjoy – and thus help the society out. and violence? it’s practically non-existent. that’s because if you’re brought up in a society w/out violence, you never learn to use it. ONE of the reasons America could never have an anarchic government is because of the amount of violence in today’s society. It is infused into even young children.
