In the past, the Free Land Paradise of Yshurak has only launched communications sattelites into orbit. Now a big day has struck Yshurak as President Jan Horembolg plans to put a man in orbit.
"It's taken us a several years to get to this point," Jan said, "and now I think we can accomplish it. The next step after this will be the moon, and then... who knows?"
It's believed by many that Jan is announcing this jump in the space program to be reelected at the end of this year. His term is almost over, and with growing tax rates, he needs some way to win the people over.
Already the ship is being built, and friendly scientist Dr. Melvin Hjorksbourg is to lead the mission.
