*Done via convinience smapling. Ten individuals were asked at local Borleone Mall by independent researcher who asked, "Given the superior talent of Crimson Sedition as compared to the other bands, do you think they should win the Best Rock award at Sliponia Music Awards?"

The People's Republic of Spyr looks forward to the awards, where we hope our native artists will gain recognition for their talents. We also anticipate great enjoyment from the music of artists from all nations represented here.

Countdown to Victory!

It is only a few hours away now from the beginning of the Sliponian Music Awards, and then entire nation is caught up in frenzy. Even His Most Enlightened One has great confidence in Arctic Banana's world-renowned group, Somnophore.
"I have great confidence that Somnophore will pervail today. Truly their hit song "Elvis lives in my Toilet Bowl," featuring the reannimated corpse of "The King," although his vocal cords have turned to dust, leaving his singing capablities at pure moaning (Which, in retrospect, is all he ever did anyway.), is sure to prove victorious in the preceedings. " His Most Enlightened One then started to hum the catchy tune of said song.

A poll taken of the nation shows that 99.999% of the population believes that Somnophore has the best chance of winning "Best Techno Act" today. The sole unbeliever, one Mr. Geogre W. Bsuh, was quickly stoned for disagreeing with His Most Enlightened One. He's now billed as a back-up dancer for Somnophore in their upcoming tour.
