F-4EKs gone, new fighters on the way (pics)

Kajiraki

Today, it is with great pride that the final F-4EK Kai left service with the KASDF, replaced by the F-15K. The F-4EK had served the Kajiraki Air Self Defense Force since 1975, and despite its impecable track record, its age was showing. All F-4EKs have been replaced with F-15Ks. Each F-15K comes from a base F-15C. The KASDF will continue to utilise F-16Ks as pure air-air fighter/interceptors. The F-2 (FS-X) is in its final developmetn stages, and is expected to begin slowly replacing the F-16K in two months (3 RL Days). Rumors are still rampant, however, that the KASDF is working on a sort of super fighter to match current front line fighters of the world. This, of course, was all done with the blessing of the Empress.
