I'll be around sporadically today, but I'll try to keep up.

Ill try to be here I have alot going on right now and I am a bit new at this ive maintained diplomacy so I havent fought a war.

The Federal War Divisions will be precent in these Battle Games as well.

The republic of Oilermania is persent.

OOC: I might be a little slow, as I have studying to do and i'm working tonight.

Back to business:

Foolish Pesants, Pennsylvainia and Oilermania, as you are new, you will be known as 'Team Red', the training team. I suggest you sit back and watch for the beginning to see how the rest of us (Team Blue) 'set-up' as it were.

I will RP on the side of Team Red also. To help them out.

We're just gona have a straight troop war for starters. So its nice and simple. The battlefield is a flat grassy plain. We'll take it from there. I'll start by posting my deployment. The rest of you feel free to follow suit for your own armies. But remember to put your team colour in bold at the top of each post, for ease :D

TEAM RED

The Trixian battleforce was in the center of the TEAM RED line. Leading the RED army against the enemy of the day, TEAM BLUE.

The trixian force consisted of 4 squads of Trixian Stormtroopers. 2 squads of Anti-Tank troops, and 1 squad of Imperial Guard with the leader of the army General Elliott.

"Soldiers! Prepare yourselves! We will rule this day!" She shouted out. "This Blue Army may have more numbers, but it is us who have the will to emerge with victory!!"

The 4 main squads we're at the front, flanked by the two supporting anti-tank squads, with the leaders at the back.

They waited for the deployment of their comrades, and the coming of the Red Dawn...

On an OOC note, actually since were allied now, I guess it'd be local knowledge , My forces are ALL Infantry. Genetically enhanced Mega Infantry, to be slightly more precise. So, anyway, should I actually use my own forces as they would act or, simply use average joe troopers for the sake of practice?

Up2 you really. But i suggest you use your home troops. So you get used to Rping them etc...

You and what army?

WM forces in the war game will include one Infantry Corps, two Divisions of Artillery, one Division of Armor and two support battalions. These units will be Ground Force Infantry or GFI. And not the better Moble Infantry troops.

Now, to deploy, I guess I'm team Blue.

The troops gather into their pre-organised groupings, ready for action.
On the left of the group 100 Light Infantry Troops ready to run into the heart of the enemy attack and do some damage. Moving left we have the 50 Sniper troops who will remain at "Base" and try to pick of what they can from the advanmcing Team Red. Then on the right we see 50 Heavy Infantry men, armed with high power weapons to charge the enemy down. Behind them all were the comms team who sat in the large tent acting as base. It had [TEAM-BLUE] clearly painted on the side facing to the battlefield.
Now all the troops could do was wait.

I play.....

RED TEAM, IN ATTACK MODE!

I'll deploy 100 G.I.'s on the right of the line supported by 20 Cloaked wing(equiped with close combat weapons and side arms), to defend against close battle tactics.

"Hmm looks like to one is taking to the attack. Move out a battalion of infantry forward 3 miles. Give em a Company of Armor for support. and make sure you put a blue star on the tank and helmets"

" Yes sir orders being sent now sir"

The 2000 man battalion moved out with the company of Armor )2 heavy tanks 8 light tanks 16 APC's and 4 ASV's)

OOC: 1stly i have two pionts to make. One os to WM, this is a troop practice, no armour ok? I'm sure you just missed my post on that :wink:
and Two, just for infomation, if we we're to go into war as an alliance, the alliance colours are blue. Just thought you'd be interested...

All the Trixian forces began to charge with the FP battalion.

"Go Go Go!!"

TEAM RED

"deploy 500 GIs and our sniper division of 50 to the left side of the field and hurry up will you!"

"Aye sir"

"and bring me some coffee it looks like I'm gonna be here a while"

ooc: What no uber sized paint balls or leaser tag systems? :( Oh well just the tanks go puff and were never there.

IC: The Battalion move forward deploying 50 scouts out a mile ahead of the main force. The move slow as they near a area with alot of fields.

"All troops hold and set up defenceive positions here. But have em light as we might have to move from here"

"The main force stoped along with the scouts. and began to dig in.

OOC:Just for my peace of mind, just what are the logistics of this area anyway. It'll be hard going to advance 5miles too find out the battle feild is only a 3 mile square...

Right the battlefield is:

A 10 mile square. At the beginning both teams started at opposite edges. And it's all just grass.Sorted.

"Come one were are they" whispers the commanding Officer to himself. After a few more minutes of waiting. "Captain take a company and move to the north east and see if you can find were the enemy is."
"Yes sir" the aptain gave orders and thwe 200 men moved out.

IC:

Team Blue

Soldier: "General Battle Groups One-Five are ready for deployment..."

General: "Have them move into battle formation!"

Soldier: "Aye sir"

Five groups of 50 Rotovian Infantry Forces begin marching out accross the feild tooting assualt rifles.

Team Red

"Form Up!"

On command all the Foolish Troops arrange themselves into a checkerboard formation (5ft spacing, 3 rows with the Cloaked Wing in the center row).

"Battle Mode!"

As one all the Foolish Troops begin to shudder violently....

Blue Team

The battalions main position defences were oing well foxhole were done and now heavy weapons pits and sand bags wee being getting worked on. "Sir we got ally troop movment on our right flank."

"Good keep in touch with them. Tell them if they run into trouble they can fall back to our position. Or if they cannot fal back try to get some to come our way."

"Yes sir"

Meanwhile the Company had moved to their forward position keeping low and out of sight.

TEAM RED

The sniper group peer vigorously down their zoom scopes, searching for targets. They scour the horizon untill they spot an a group of WM troops digging in.

"Rodger 1 this is Fox 3 Blue target sighted. 30' South."

"Fox 3 this is Rodger 1, move to an abstract position, fire and return. Over."

"Rogder 1 this is Fox 3, Confirmed and in action"

The 50 sniper troops begin to stealthily move to the East, rifles at hand.

At the "base site" the rest of the troops begin preperations.

Heavy troops erect small dirt shelters to take cover in, and the light infantry eat biscuits on the bac lines ready to be first into action.

The snipers arrivew at their pre-determined position and take a lying position. They hold their rifles firmly and take aim accross the GM positions.

"Fox Team, this is Fox 3, 3,2,1 Fire"

The snipers lit up the sky for a moment with high powered firing, each firing off 3 rounds before standing and running back to the base where the infantry was ready for the returning fire.

Blue Team

"Jesus I'm hit!" came a starteled cry of one sldier.

Then more and more men began taking 'hits'. By training one soldier called out for a medic. Instead a officer with a white armband and helmet came out and looked a the soldiers laser impact system.

"Well your dead son"

"Ah shit!"

During this the lieutenant gave orders. "Platoons A through G keep digging. Platoons H, I, and J load up spoke and give us a screen."

More soldiers had 'fell' by then, but within seconds the ordered platoons were putting a smoke screen in front and sides of the position.
As the soldiers got done digging the laid down in thier pits and opened fire. Thier weapons on full rock and roll. (and yes i am using blanks with a laser hitting system)

Through Their laser Vision Head Gear [Just so the troops can see the actual fire, not just the ones that hit them] the troops of the returning Fox Team see their companions for this event being attacked from a distance, and then a huge wall of smoke rising from several muddy mounds.
"Thank You Mr WM, now we now where the rest of you are! ha ha"
The Fox team continue home as the rest of the roups begin scrambling to return fire.

"Boys, show these guys who's boss, fire heavy"

With nothing said all the troops available hit the deck as the fire from GM troops begins to rise abbov the protective walls of DIY mud where Heavy Infantry troops were waiting.
They poked their guns trough stabbed holes in the mud and began firing wildly into the smoke which covered their view untill men began crying
"Hit"
Medics sprant arround the area taking dead back and leaving wounded to fight on, crude but effective.
When too many had shouted, arround 15 in total the commander spoke through comms,
"get out, go East east East, now!"
The troops stopped firing immediatly and began heading to the East, towards the very edge of the battlefield.
Upon arrival three more men were in-active, but when the smoke cover wore out the WM commander wouldn't have a clue where they were.
A natural slope provided temporary cover for the troops as they took up, but only to observe the happenings inside the WM area, which of course they could not see yet...

TEAM RED

Rotovia's mine... :twisted:

"3 Squads! Charge on the advancing Rotovian coloumn!!"

The squads ran over the plain, firing laser (beam tracker whatever it's called :wink: ) at the advaning troops, closing the gap quite quickly...

"Remaining squad. Try and 'kill' the WM commander" :wink:

"How bad in the damage?" asked the company Lieutenant.

"Well sit it ain't bad or good 61 wounded with 37 of those out of action and squad sharp shooters report advancing ground troops."

"Ok bug out now while they can't fire at us, lets get back to the battalion."

The company pull out but do beging to take heat so the LT leaves 10 wounded behind to hold up the enemy.

The Heavy Infantry emerge from their cover to see the retreating WM forces.
"Attack!" cries the General as his men begin firing heavy rounbds to the ranks of WM troops.
"Snipers, take aim and fire!"
A rain of explosive shell fire fell from the Heavy infantry towards the WM units, alongwith a wall of ammunition from snipers and light infantry men. The men stayed put though untill the remains of the WM company were out of range, when theymade a snake manouver. Splitting in three and weaving accross and foreard through the battlefield to find soem better civer a little closer to the WM camp.

Team Red

As the adrenaline pumped through their bodies, increasing their already formidable prowess, the commander made a few obscure hand gestures. On orders, the Foolish troops began to reconstruct their rifles(sniper rifle).
Once this had been done, the Troops fell prone to increase cover and took careful aim at the opposing forces...

Blue Team

The WM company made it back to the main battle line, chopped up they were, but still in basicly one piece.

"Well lieutenant you did good for being exposed like that. It was messy but needed to be done."

"Thank you sir" Thank you woun't bring back the othe half of my company

The Colonel did not sem to be awere of the odd face the Lieutenant gave him. "Lieutenant have your men fall to the rear and help support the two platoon on rear duty."

"Yes sir" the LT gave a sharp salute, wheeled around, then left to get him men going.

Mean while the Colonel had already began to speak to his XO. "Captian set out out snipers." (ooc:100) "And make sure all men have diged in and are using thermal and forest camo."

"Yes sir" now it was tot XO's turn to salute and leave.

"advance the GI's and have the snipers fire away"

"aye sir"

The GI's made their way forward yet, they were cut down by the many snipers amoungst the enemy ranks. Although Oilermania's snipers did respond, many casualties happened on Oilermania's side. Thus, the GI's were forced to retreat to a safe location, out of range of the enemy snipers.

Team Red

In a burst of fire that would put shame on any Lazer-quest, the Foolish Pesants troops opend fire on what they presumed to be the commanding officials(Fancy Team Blue AND not covered in mud). In bursts of controlled fire, the Foolish Infantary easily began picking off the clean looking troopers with unholy accuracy...

ooc is it just me or is it i am the only Blue team member that has posted in a while and that everyone is shooting at me?

It seems that way...

Blue team

The commanding officer of thr battalion gave the order for every 4th man to fire. as not giv way their true strength. And een then the WM troops were not firng on full rock and roll. most taking single shot while some others a three round burst.
