Drakonian Imperium And Allies Slaughter Al Anbar Citizens

10-12-2003, 07:26
Foreign Affairs Ministry Statement

At approximately 5:40 AM AST time, the devil helicopters of the Drakonian Imperium launched missiles on a university compound in the city of Idlib in the governorate of Syria. The building was being used as a safe zone during air raids. Since the beginning of the imperialistic colonialist war on Al Anbar, citizens have been told to report to local schools for protection. These are pure civilian buildings, and should not be bombed.

The Drakonians knew this, so did their allies, the Tersanctans. Yet, they proceeded to attack the university compound in Idlib. In just minutes, approximately 13,500 civilians were killed. Civilians attempting to flee the horrid attack on the university were simply gunned down by the devil helicopters. Not only was the university itself attacked, the whole block of houses across the street from the university were levelled.

The wounded exceed 5,100.

We have a video of their criminal acts upon the people of Al Anbar.

TV is turned on. Video from mid-way through the attack is shown. Women and children, wounded and non-wounded, running from the building are, indeed, being gunned down. Drakonian soldiers land and secure the area. Video cuts out.

We demand that the world hold the Drakonians responsible for their criminal assault on Al Anbar. Killing 13,500 civilians needs an immediate response from the world.

We must prevent further genocide of the people of Al Anbar. We request international support. Do not let innocent civilians be gunned down in cold blood again. Whether you hold the current, elected government of Al Anbar in favourable light or not, you must assist us in defeating this enemy who is cold blooded and has just proven it in their assault on a known civilian target being used for a safe house for civilians.

This is just typical Ba'athist propaganda. You are reknowned for underhanded tactics, and we conclude that it was your own forces which staged the bombings and stole the uniforms of the liberators.

As Al Anbar is an active promoter of global terrorism, we may have to consider joining the war against it.

In the SDI control room the two men read the report and just grimice..."I wonder if they were armed or unarmed..."

"Nah, the 'civilains' were those irregular Saddam Forces...who are 'loyal' freedom fighters when winning and 'unarmed' civilians when losing.."

"Ah, the only problem is that we can't just fluff this propaganda off..."

"Well we have to find the middle road..."

We are disapointed in the news that it appears civilians were killed in the recent war in the United Emeriates. It is a sad fact that in many cases, modern warfare can not be limited to military personel only. We hope that the Imperium and it's allies realize that a war with the Federated Klatchian Coast will only increase the casulaty rate of civilian lives. We hope that the current measures being adopted by the Federated Klatchian Parliment, and the individual states themselves will offer a peaceful resolution to our problems. Again we are saddened by every non-combatant death in this war.

The Government of Al Anbar is more than willing to allow a small contigent of Ma-tekian inspectors to come to the city of Idlib to view the atrocities that have been commited against the Iraqi and Syrian people. We however, are unable to grant your request at this moment as the Drakonians have continued to attack the city, which continues to hurt the civilian population. We ask that you mediate a temporary cease fire so you can see the truth about the situation.

While we are saddened by this great mistake byour friends from the United Emirates and Drakonian Imperium, we must say that it is highly unlikely that the Drakonian Imperium is targeting the civilian population. We would say that this is primarily an incident upon false or unreliable intelligence. Since that we think this attack is supposed to be an attack against Saddam government remeants, and if this is true, they we'd say that the Al Anbar government is foolish enough to put civilian in where the military meets, if it actually cared for civilians.

However, we will continue to monitor this, in the meanwhile that if the video is 100% unedited, we find it highly disturbing for the Drakonians to gun down innocent women and children.

Our major condolence for the Al Anbar victims and their families. We hope this mistake could be prevented, throughout the war.

The Drakonian Imperium sadly notes that due to local intelligence the Imperium did make a horrible mistake and attack a civilian compound. The compound previously held a Fedayeen Saddam Terrorist Cell, were the Imperium thought Qusay Saddam was coordinating the Al Anbari terrorist effort out of. A mistake was made and many civilians died because of it. Such things happen during war.

The Imperium publicly appologize to the world and the Al Anbari citizenry. Nevertheless, we will fight on and free the Al Anbari people from Saddam Hussein and the murderous Ba'athist regime. We will free, Al Anbar!

The following image was released to the public. IMAGE 10294875-A (http://207.44.246.95/118/74/upload/p116.jpg) Clearly visable is that by this time the Drakonian forces had stopped their attack realizing their mistake. Also visable is the destruction we cause. For that we are again, very sorry.

As soon as the city of Idlib, where this happened is secured. Humanitarian Aid (directly from the Imperium and our allies) will be rushed in. To help those suffering under this corrupt and oppressive regime, and to help those we accidentally wronged.

Again, the Grand Dominion of Drakonian Imperium, publicly appologizes for our mistake, but we will fight on for freedom!

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Al Khalis viewing Arabic news programmes were shocked by the reports detailing the scale of slaughter in Al Anbar. It did not take long for worried crowds to gather around government offices. Al Khali citizens, desperate for word of friends and family abroad, beseeched the authorities to give them more information.

Prime Minister Habib Kilany appeared in Salahbad to appeal for calm, and attempted to moderate the crowds' anger and fear. He promised to contact the Al Anbari government in order to discern whether any Al Khalis -national or ethnic- were numbered amongst the dead or wounded, and to offer what aid the republic might afford.

As days roll on, Kilany's mild and moderate stance appears less and less effective in tempering Al Khali emotions. President Omar Qottar remains distant since his passing comment equating Drakonian use of the term "terrorist" with "crude 'buzz words'".
