Note--rather large armed forces... too much budget spent on defense... par it down to 33% and diminish the size of armed forces...

Geeze! Are you the old Soviet Union   ?

You would be as poor as N.Korea now i believe if these stats where true.

Also, you needa vareity of choppers (cargo choppers, black-hawkish type things, assult choppers/antitanks) and supply planes (refueling planes, cargo planes, AWACS planes, etc.)
07-12-2003, 16:01
you would be well suited to reducing the number of types, and concentrating on increasing efficiency. also, your armies would need more AIFV and APCs to back up all of those tanks. Additionally, you SSN forces seem rather low, and your fighter forces seem rather high. You also seem to be lacking in electronic warfare AC such as the Joint Star, Rivet Joint and awac. the Spartacists might be able to help you out with this?

It was down to about 20% for about a month and a half since the founding of Credonia until today when i kicked it up a notch to give us a bit more money to use in the event of a war against terristan which wont be happening. So its going to go back down to 30% tomorrow. Im working on getting APC's. Id have a variety if i sold them, but i dont produce them (i only sell aircraft) so i have to look for some more. As for troops, i need far less, im well aware.

No were not the soviet union lol, were a total democracy, just one backed with massive military power. We have refueling planes bought from United Elias, i just havent posted them. There a new type. Modified from an Airbus A330, Were working on choppers, we only have what we produce and sell. Dont worry, our military will continue to expand due to increasing threats from enemy nations.

We arebuilding up our SSN forces, but thats obviously not an absolute necessity at this time. We will be talking to our allies about buying more naval units in the near future. As for electronic warfare aircraft, as i stated earlier in this post, were working on it. We only have what we sell. Updates coming soon. The link to the actul status of our military is here: http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=100697&highlight= it lists a lot more information then i have here on this post.

Over 9 million men in your army, with a population of 264 million? Ignoring this unrealistic percentage of your population being in the military, can you explain how you are housing all of these men? You've got to be spending around 300,000,000,000$ on their salaries alone(and that's figuring an average of 30,000$ per soldier)

One thing you definitely need is a better intelligence service. Preferably one that doesn't blab to the world when a friendly nation tips you off that there is about to be a terrorist attack against you, causing that friendly country to lose one of its best spies.

Nah, a friendly nation didnt tip us off ;-) I said an anymous source, but i never said a friendly nation, and for the recor it wasnt ;-) And were going to recduce the size of the army down as i stated earlier. its less than 4% of the pop but still

I voted 'Impressive' even though I don't think a big army is impressive. A good army like the NVA or the viet-cong are impressive.

Aside from the excessive numbers of unorganized ground forces (3.6% might be seen in an invasion of the homeland) you need combat support and combat support service units (medical, engineer, logistics, MP, etc, etc. minimum 50%, more probably 70-90%) and men to man those ships and planes.

But most importantly, organize!

Rated: F

60-70% in CS and CSS and Xs divisions of 15-25,000 would be much better.

we are organized, i just dont post all of the divisions and such, those are just the total number of forces, i kept it simple ;-)

In otherwords, too lazy? And what of the many other faults resulting in your F?

Wait, all of your units are land units? Why bother having a navy or air force?

Oh, and organization isn't too difficult.

One division = 10,000 to 20,000 troops. Simple.

Listen the average beginning wage for an enlisted soldier starts at around 10K-11,900K that's basic wage and it will only be slightly higher for someone doing a specialised job, no one will be paying anyone in there armed forces 30K unless there a very high level enlisted individual or a mid ranking officer. Check with armed forces sites, the official ones that is and see what they pay.

2nd Lieutenants, lowest-level officers, make 35,000.

not lazy, just a lack of time, NS isnt the only thing i do thats time consuming. I do have real world obligations just like everyone else, that list is just a cumulation of weeks and weeks of putting together.

And to New Genoa, obviouslny no, there not all land forces :?
