AUBC News flash:

-Film shows an attractive dark haired female reporter inside of a busy sports stadium. An excited crowd lay in the background registering to vote, others shuffling towards an extensive line up where they wait to cast their decision for the next Overlord of Auman."

"This is a glorious day in Aumans national history, as for the first time ever democratic elections have been held. Citizens arrived at the polls in record numbers, excited at the prospects of being allowed to elect their own leader!" -The reporter turned to a jubilant old woman who was leaving the polling place- "Hello grandmother, how was your voting experience?" -the old woman turned to the reporter- "It was wonderful, finally for the first time we, the righteous citizens of Auman have been allowed to cast our say in how our nation is run." said the old woman. "For whom did you cast your vote?" asked the young on site reporter "I voted for our glorious Lord Marduk, I think he deserves it for being nice enough to allow us this priviledge!" -The female reporter turned to the camera with an unnaturally large smile- "As you can see the people are quite happy with the way things are being run, I have already spoken to several other people today about they're voting choices and I've had no complaints...other than that there seems to be a lack of choices on the ballet." -The Reporter brings up a ballet form for the camera to look at, it shows an overly complicated sheet that obviously favours Lord Marduk for election.- "Marduk's opponent, Lord General Polosh has recieved a fair amount of votes. It seems as though he and his 'Peoples Revolutionary Party' may give Marduks 'Peoples Freedom Party' a run for its money this year." -The reporter suddenly looks behind her as a gun shot rings out in the crowded stadium. The Camera picks up three soldiers dragging what seems to be a man wearing the colours of the Peoples Revolutionary Party. The Reporter looks back and gave a sharp motion for the camera man to stop filming.-

OOC:

Its obviously a biased election...please tell me what you think of this.

OOC:
Hahaha, at first I thought you were giving the democratic process a chance, but I guess that's not the case. Good work, Auman.

IC: The National Controller (and the senate, for that matter, both of which were supporters of the Separatist Movement) had seen the news flash, and while it appeared to be a democratic election, the fact that the People's Revolutionary Party's members were being shot in the stadium was a little bit more unnerving. Considering that the separatists were an Imperial Puppet, they had sided with the Imperial Government when needed.

Anyway it went, the Auman peacekeepers opening fire on civilians only solidified Kajal Mar's relationship with the Imperium of Kajal.

And, since this was an Imperium that "supported" revolutionaries (when they needed to be martyred in a cause that both supported, at least), the Controller decided to make another one of those decisions that would have the senate up all night trying to overturn it. He sent out another general order and a transmission.

"While the illusion of a democracy may be appealing, the behavior we have observed in Auman's elections has only added to our reasons to dislike the country. As of this moment, I am ordering an embargo against Auman. Hopefully they will not be put in the position that we were recently in, but Separatist and Imperial relations have only grown stronger as both parties have realised how important it is that the two work together. Of course, we would be more then happy to send in our own... peacekeepers, if any incident were to occur." The controller gave a somewhat threatening smile. "This has been a transmission by the National Controller of Kajal Mars. Have a nice day."

OOC: hehe. I just thought that these elections could cause instability in Auman that would reverse previous roles. *cackles* ^_^

BTW, looks like the revolutionaries are winning. :D

What a disgusting display... You can bet Pilon is staying out of this one, neither side looks apetizing to us.

"As a result of the current embargo the entirety of the Vascilian league is forced by its constitution to cut off all ties with the territory of Kajal Mars. Please, have a nice day."

OOC:

Foreign troops will never be allowed into Vascilia, I think the 13 member nations wouldn't approve of that...if you knew anything you'd know that Overlord Marduk and Lord General Polosh are the best of friends and share the exact same political views. In reality there is absolutely no difference between the Peoples Revolutionary Party and the Peoples Freedom Party.

Actually...Polosh and Marduk are not only both opposing each other in this election but are also each others running mates. Meaning? it means that no matter how the people were to vote Marduk would still be in charge...for all you know the person who was shot could have been a terrorist. Dont jump to conclusions.

OOC: course, there's no way the National Controller would know that IC, but meh. I haven't exactly read up about Vascilia and all it's prominent figures.

Besides, it's pretty obvious that the National Controller dislikes Auman as a whole, so he's just looking for excuses. The Senate will likely overturn this particular decree. Unless he has the entire senate shot. ^_~

OOC:

No doubt...We're reformed cruel expansionists, so the people of Auman really feel for the people of Kajal Mars. Though it doesn't seem to go both ways.

The main nations of Vascilia are as follows:

Auman, for its leadership of the league. In its early days many nations needed to be "talked into" joining it. Its predecessor The Theocracy of Anti-Funitism did the leg work and installed itself as the permanent leader of the pact.

Tannelorn, the second member of the league. In the early days Auman and Noriegania fought border wars with them to secure its resources...at the time of the founding Tannelorns military was to an almost medieval standard, things change.

Noriegania, for it has always been Aumans staunchest ally.

...though the majority of the bad stuff happened when the AF was in charge, Auman is trying to repair the Leagues image and honestly is trying to be good.

Nerdom

OOC:
Hey what about a description of me?

Nerdom: The nation that doesn't spend time RPing on the forum due to a lack of internet connection by the ruler (Don't ask). Spends the majority of it's very large military budget on high tech advances and an army of hackers. It's military is very small, only a standing garrison to handle any disturbances.

Originally there was a description of the greatest nations of the League...that included Nerdom. But space restrictions forced me to remove you...actually I just removed all the countries after the third one because it made it too long of a post.
