Into the Wastelands... (Intro Thread/RP?)

06-12-2003, 23:31
((OOC: This nation goes on the assumption that Yumi and co defeat and seal the Goddess Jessi in "Her Divine Shadow RP." It takes place in an alternate reality. Your nation may exist in either or reality, but cannot interact with both realities. Either Krowemoh was destroyed in their reality, or it wasn't.))

*The four Psychics, Yumi of Krowemoh, Todd of Iansisle, Kerrik of Kaukalostan, and Jimmy of Assington, were unable to stop the Goddess Jessi. Even with the help of Marius, one of the original Psychics who had sealed the Goddess many, many years ago, the four weren't strong enough to halt the Goddess. In one day, the Goddess Jessi reduced the large and mighty nation of Krowemoh, to nothing more then a radioactive pit. Only those who were able to seek the relative safety of large, underground vualts, and those on the Space Station and Orbital Weapons Platform orbiting in space above Krowemoh, survived the wrath of Jessi. Those who tried fleeing to nearby nations never made it beyond the borders of Krowemoh.
*Krowemoh's allies did not try to intervene, they weren't so foolish as to incur the wrath of the insane Demi Goddess. Nor did the Krowemohian Goddess, Cori, come to their rescue...
*Broken, and fearful, the reminder of the handful of thousands of the Nekos hid, in their vaults and space station, hoping that the wrathful eye of Jessi would not pass over them. Prince Rufus Mew himself was dead, killed in the Shin-Ra Tower as his twin sister Janus was evacuated to space.
*The land that was once Krowemoh, is now no more. All that remains, is the Wastelands of Krowemoh...
*As for the Goddess herself. Some say after destroying Krowemoh, she returned to her sister, wherever it is the Gods call home. Others say she is still in Krowemoh, somewhere, banished by her own sister to remain forever in the physical realm of the mortals...*

((OOC2: Post your thoughts, comments. No flaming! It's my nation! If I want a rampaging insane Demi Goddess to wipe it off the face of the Earth, it's my choice! If you don't like it, then don't read it. :P))

*Cowering in their vaults, the survivors of Krowemoh cut off all contact with the outside world, hoping that by remaining hidden, the Goddess Jessi would not find them. Meanwhile, high above the Wastelands, onboard the Krowemohian space station Spacer Kitten, Princess Janus Mew prepares an effort to retake their homeland.*

Janus Mew: "First, we'll need to find out if the Goddess Jessi is still there, so constantly scan the surface of Krowemoh for about four days. If there's no physical sign that the Goddess is still there, then we move onto phase two..."

*She discussed her plan to retake Krowemoh in the space station's conference room. One of the Army Officials there, a friend of Rufus Mew, speaks up.*

General Heidegger: "Why do we need to take back Krowemoh? What's to stop Jessi from coming back? I say we do as Rufus Mew originally planned: Migrate to a different star system, somewhere far away from here."

Janus Mew: "How and where are we going to get the supplies for such an undertaking? From the international community? I doubt they would be so kind as to lead a helping hand to a dying nation. If we want to do that, we'll need to take back Krowemoh and it's raw materials. Then we can begin construction of Krowemoh's first space fleet."

*Heidegger nodded.*

General Heidegger: "We could try asking for help. What about the Resi Corporation? We're good allies with them? Or Sunset?"

Janus Mew: "True, we are allies of the Resi Corp, and I suppose it would be wise to seek assistance from them. As for Sunset... I personally do not trust them. As far as I can tell, most nations believe we are dead. If we draw too much attention to ourselves in our weakened state, we leave ourselves open to attack. With a single space station, an Orbital Weapons Platform, and a few flights of Railgun fighters, we hardly are able to defend ourselves from space pirates, let alone entire armies."

General Heidegger: "I see your point."

Janus Mew: "Good."
