Ortheri One and Two
Deep in the asteroid belt, two massive scaffoldings floated, inside of them rested two massive ships. Each shaped like a massive version of a Fleet Cruiser they waited silently, systems starting to come online. Inside their massive frames were production facilities, crew quarters, civilian areas, hydroponics farms, military barracks, everything that a world ship would need.
Each of the ships was 30 KM long, and 60 KM wide, their purpose was to explore our own galaxy, to claim territories for the Star Empire, and then to attempt the unthinkable, a Non-Point Slipstream Jump.

“As most people know, Slipstream uses “tunnels” in the fabric of space to travel almost instantaneously from place to place. Each “tunnel” has two exit points, leading into “real-space”. This limits Slipstream jumps, meaning that some systems are inaccessible due to the massive distances between them and the nearest “Jump Point”. This is the reason that all Thelasian ships have both Slipstream drives, and Hyper Drives.
Some scientists have theorized that it may be possible to create a temporary Slipstream exit and entrance, but, the amount of energy needed for each hole is massive. Because of this, scientists have theorized that ships could just “tag along” with the ship that opens the breach, while promising…”
*Ten Years Later*
Each of the massive world ships, aboard each one were five million colonists, started to get ready for launch. Slowly the massive umbilical cords detached from the ships, then, the huge causeways detached with a hiss of trapped atmosphere, then the huge docking arms released the two vessels. Massive tugs, each the size of battleships started to move the ship. Slowly the vessel started to move, then, with out the resistance that an atmosphere would offer, the ships started to speed up, their own engines now starting to engage. Quickly the massive fusion drives out stripped the tugs, causing a mad dash as the small vessels sped out of the way.
After the two ships had cleared the scaffolding, massive ducting vents on the rear drives closed, and other vents on the front of the ship opened, redirected all the power to the purpose of stopping the ship. After the ship had come to a stop, a voice, feminine in quality, came over the line, “This is Ortheri One to Ortheri Two, we are waiting for the escort fleets to arrive, what is your status?” A male voice came over the line, light with a Quenyan accent, “All systems stable, we are waiting for escort.” A third voice, female, came over the line, “All right you two, calm down, we are having a bit of trouble linking the ship AIs to you, some one got your fleets confused.” The first voice, Ortheri One, let out an exasperated sigh, “Organics” the third voice, that of Athena responded harshly, “Shivera, remember to whom we own our lives.” “Yes mother.” “Now we wait children, now we wait.”

“This morning, the two massive world ships, Ortheri One, and Ortheri Two left their docking cradles, now only waiting for their protective fleets, the two ships stand ready to explore parts of the galaxy never before seen.”
OOC: Okay, these two world ships will be represented by two puppets of mine, Ortheri One and Ortheri Two. Remember, they will be on the other side of the galaxy, so militarily, they will not be able to help me. Thelas will only be able to send supplies to them, or receive resources once every three months. They are just a tool for RP purposes, and also to show people how I RP space combat and exploration. I will post a pic, stats, and fleet numbers as I find them.
Remember, Ortheri One and Two are just the expedition names, the fleets eventually will be composed of massive ships to hold the population. Also, one last thing, every soul on the two ships, is elven.
