Foe Hammer signs Multi-Billion Dollar deal with Dodge

The Space Empire of Foe Hammer, having recently released the Viper Stretch, has set it's sights on the Dodge Motor Company. After a week of negotiations, the CEO of Dodge has agreed to a $16 billion buyout to Foe Hammer. All Dodge copyrights, including cars, designs, the Dodge Logo and the Dodge name, have been transferred to the Foe Hammer Automotive Company. Dodge is now an official branch of the Foe Hammer Auto Company.
To apoligize for the confusion of the switch, Foe Hammer Automotive Company is extending the warranties on any car still on it's warranty.
Dodge has ceased the sale of all vehicles for two days (About 14 RL minutes, which I will use to write up the new Dodge Storefront) while changing the metalstamps on the engines and other components of all cars being produced.

What exactly is with this? This is NS earth. I'm tired of people taking RL territories a la Drum Gods, and doing RPs with puppetized RL corporations. I don't know about anybody else but I'm drawing the line and ignoring RL corporations just to avoid the hassle of everyone wanting their own RL corporate empires in addition to NS-specific ones.

Dodge is part of Chrystler which is part of Mercedes Benz...therefore...you can't buy Dodge unless your making cars in mid 1930 when Dodge was purchased by Chrystler in the first place
....Ack, Your right...No one should purchase a RL company without at least knowning who owns it now...next your going to have Anna Huffington owning Huffington international...

No, But in RL you would own Chrystler, Dodge, Jeep, and a chain of burger king hamburger stores in Michigan.
I should point out that since none of you actually know what your buying then I'm just going to assume that:
Foe Hammer Bought Dodge Specialties...which modfies Vipers for people...
And that you only own a somewhat controlling share in Mercedes-Benz
Oh, and the Fords still own a good chunk of Ford so stop trying to buy that...

Who's to say that Chrysler didn't sell Dodge or something? For god's sake people...it's a game.
I bought the Mercedes-Benz corporation. Since this is not real life, as some of you seem to forget, I don't have to deal with the baggage. Besides, I'm not even in the same time period as real life. So frankly, don't be tech whores and get over it.
I don't own a "somewhat controlling share in Mercedes-Benz," I own the company. That doesn't include all that DaimlerChrysler owns...it's merely the company.
