ooc: hi, this is my first post here, let me know if i do anything stupid/wrong thx :-)

Ben jumped on the boat just as it slowly started to pull out of the dock, gun shots could be heard on the shore as he went below deck, he saw daniel as well as some of the group's other leaders sitting in a small circle, he walked over and sat on a stool.

Ben: "How many people did we lose?"

Dan: "The last count reported 500 people miissing, counting the rest of the groups we've moved out, it brings the count up to just over 100,000....."

Ben: "It cant be that many, the secret police shouldnt have known we were planning this evac, there were hardly any guards at the check points, are you sure that count is right?"

Dan: "Almost positive, the last evacuation we tried was almost a complete failure, we only rescued 50 people, someone must have warned them we were going to do it."

Ben: "You suspect that we have a traitor with us?"

Dan: "Yes, but I'm not sure who it could be....."

Just then the boat rocked,there were some loud explosions, and the huge boat almost capsized, everything else was quiet from then until they hit the new land.

ooc: I'll post more later.

As the boat was pulling into shore after 12 hours traveling through the night, the leaders had one more thing to discuss.

Ben: "How much of the technology did we get? I know we were planning on getting at least 50 computers, but I only see three."

Malcom: "Almost all my contacts in the old government were fired or dissappeared in the last week, they had to know they were planning something."

Ben: "Then we really need to be careful, we have a spy among us, if anyone hears anything let me know, now... get some sleep guys, you'll need it."

The boat was finally docked two hours later, as over 80,000 moved to their new home. The people who had been moved earlier that year already had a large village there, and houses were being constructed for the newcomers all the time.

Ben as he walked into the building he was to live in, Sent a message to one of the surrounding countrys saying Hello and asking for peaceful relations between the two nations.

After ben sent the first message out, he decided to send some more, to some nations he had recieved information about and had the same views as his colony.

Ben had been waiting for a reply to his messages for sometime, only 2 nations had responded, and neither had supplied medical help yet, this fledgling nation would not make it far unless the could get some supplies.

At sea, close the The Colonys:

Rear Admiral John Mahoney was summoned to the communications room aboard his Blue Ridge Class Command Ship. He was currently en route back to The Captain after being recalled from duty in Courtneydom. He was leading Carrier Group Fiorito and escorting one of The Captain's hospital ships back to the mainland.

One of the radar ships had picked up the message for medical supplies and relayed it back to Admiral Mahoney. Mahoney decided to call up the ladder to Fleet Admiral Sam Chester. Admiral Chester gave Mahoney the green light to divert the group to the coordinates relayed on the radio.

Admiral Mahoney called to the other ships. They were sailing for The Colonys.

Defense League Cruisers and Destroyers find this ship controled by the captian and send 3 destroyers to keep the captian from doing any harm to the colonys. If no harm is attended they will stay till The Captians ship disembarks

"Admiral! We've just received information from the radar ships. It seems that there are three destroyers headed for us!"

"I'm sorry Captain, I think I misheard you. Did you say three?"

"Yes sir. Three"

Admiral Mahoney burst with laughter. "Keep an eye on them. Have the Fiorito set up CAPs. Maintain course for The Colonys. Keep me informed."

Ben was sick of waiting in his room, so he walked out onto the shore to thnk about the things that had happened in the past few days, as he was, he saw small specks on the horizon, he ran to his house, and grabbed his binoculars,

"Dan, come with me, hurry!" he yelled.

Dan: "What is it?"

Ben: I see some boats, it looks like warships, but I cannot tell, get as many men as you can, and bring guns, it could be ships from the old land."


Dan had rounded up most of the men and older boys, and gave them some rifles.

Dan: "We will hold this line, you are not fighting for honor, you are not fighting for glory, you are fighting for freedom!!"

(people as the rause their guns in the air.):"FOR FREEDOM!"

(ooc: in my nation it says i have 7 million people, but I'm rping that I onlyhave lik 2 or 3 million, most women and children.)

The ships approached the shore. Admiral Mahoney ordered surveilance of the area in case of hostilities arising. The SH-60 Seahawk lifted off the deck and made way for the coast.

As they were nearing the beach, they saw a large group of people huddling together and looking excited. The co-pilot pulled out his binoculars and took a closer look.

"Jeez, they've all got guns!"

This information was relayed back to Admiral Mahoney, who then gave the order to make contact.

The pilot got close to the beach and put on the sound system of the helicopter. "Attention: We are from the DCS Fiorito of The Dominion of The Captain. We received your message and have a hospital boat within our ranks. Our carrier group was diverted to your area when we heard that you needed medical assistance. Repeat: We are from the DCS Fiorito of The Dominion of The Captain. We received your message and have a hospital boat within our ranks. "Please throw down your weapons. Our men will come to the shore unarmed."

Ben heard the message and got up, he asked Dan what he thought?

"Do you think there serious?"

Dan "We did send that message, it would be really stupid to shoot people trying to help us, I'd suggest we let them come."

Ben Ok, but you and me will keep pistols in our pockets got it?"

Dan "Yes sir."

Ben yelled to all the men, "Drop your weapons, these people are here to save us!"

A hospital ship, the Rescuer is being escorted by 4 destroyers and a antiair cruiser. It is almost into the waters of the Colonys just another hour to go.

*kicks thread to front page for 5 secs.*

The Rescuer now requests to dock at a port, and will soon start treating any people that needs treats, plus shots for the kids.

Request to dock granted, please treat our women and children first.

OOC: You have a port? I thought it was only a beach. That's what I based my post on.

IC: The beach was too shallow to bring the fleet any closer, so the small patrol boats and transports were deployed. Admiral Mahoney made sure the patrol boats were armed to escort the transports, with those destroyers from Keam keeping an eye on them.

The patrol boats stopped 250 feet from the beach and the transports headed towards the shore. Upon arrival, the men disembarked and introduced themselves.

"I'm Commander Oliver Bumby from The Dominion of The Captain. I need to speak with one of the senior people here. Your beach is too shallow to bring our ships any closer, so we've got to transport you back on these boats. If you have anybody in serious condition, our helicopters can ferry them. Otherwise my men and I will get to work."

IC: Ben Yelled out to the ships, "thank you! Our very sick people will be carried out to be picked up, dan show those choppers where to pick the people up, im going out to talk with these people." ben walked out to the boat and got in, as he was, he signaled he was ready to get the boat moving.

"Welcome aboard!" Ben was greeted by the Chief Petty Officer in one of the boats bound for the carrier. "I assume you want to see Admiral Mahoney. So let's get this boat moving!"

The boat cut through the choppy coastal water, and the ships got big very fast. The water smoothed and the boat made its way to the back of the carrier. Two large metal doors on the back of the carrier opened and the pilot maneuvered into the docking area.

The large doors closed and now they were inside the ship. The chief let Ben disembark, and then left the boat himself. "Come with me, I'll take you to the Admiral."

Admiral Mahoney was sitting with Captain Thomas Reed when the chief entered the room with Ben. "Sir, this is the representative of the people we're helping."

"Thank you Chief." Admiral Mahoney stood and extended his hand. "I am Admiral John Mahoney, and this is Captain Thomas Reed. I hope that we can help all of your injured. Is there anything else that you need now?"

Request to dock granted, please treat our women and children first.

"Ah, but of course we will. We have quite a soft spot for children. Where shall we start?" asked the captain of the hospital ship.

"Sir, another hospital ship has docked in the area."

"Good. Inform them of our 'company.'"

"Aye aye."

Attention hospital ship. There are three destroyers in the area that are not part of our fleet. Advise you watch your backs. If provoked, we will assist you. All messages from us will be encoded from now on. We will transmit codes after this message.

"No, just medical supplies for our people, but now that you mention it, I would like to know, can we count on your nation being being on friendly terms with us in the future? I'd ike to sign a treaty so we, our two nations I mean, can be allies, and if not allies, at least at peace with each other."

"Well sir, we'd have to run that up the ladder to a vote from the Senate. I don't think that will be a problem though. I will contact my superior officer and have the message relayed."

Meanwhile, on the hospital ship, the surgeons and other doctors were working on keeping people healthy and alive. So far they'd only lost two; both had bled too much before the ship had arrived. The others were progressing nicely with mostly broken bones, allergies, and some sea-sickness.

Mahoney had a lot of preparations to do. The arrival of the Senate President would mean another carrier group would be coming, along with a full company of marines to guard him. There was much planning.

The Colonials had pretty much all been taken care of. There were a lot of people still aboard the hospital ship, but most of them had been stabilized. Things were going well with the hospital ship.
