As Soon as the news of the death of King Alern reached the royal Palace a cold terrorable anger grew. A day later, a message was sent out as Princess Lina, minster of foriegn affairs and now acting regent, called for something that had not happened for 30 years, a meeting of IDI countries. These attack by the TLPA Rebels in Tordor could not go unavenged, the sending off assassins to kill the leaders of IDI countries could not go unpunished, expecally as they manged to succed in one case. It was time for chastement.

IC: In response to the Tertoran call for a meeting of the International Defense Initiative, Empress Aidan Kushrenada sent outa call to the leaders of all IDI nations, asking them to come to the Kushrenada Krycek Fortress in Kecha, as it was the place where the founding agreement of the IDI took place, and it was a safe place for a meeting.

The Acting People's Representative, Duo Migashi, shall attend with all possible haste.

Strategic Deployment Director Donald Anderson is making his way to the aforementioned Kechan outpost while the following press release airs on Oglethorpian TV, his entourage of guards and aides informing him of other world developments as they come.

"My fellow Oglethorpians," begins Strategic Deployment Director Donald Anderson; a tall African-American man dressed in a grey suit from behind a large mahogany desk, "earlier in the week an attempt was made on President Marvin's life. Those responsible are the Tordoran rebels; we are in the process of tracking those in our great nation down and detaining them while we meet with our fellow IDI nations to plot out a response to these assassination attempts."

"Hold fast, my fellow citizens. Thank you."

The Defence Minister Lord Carlos Cruzier and the Director of Special Foces Carl Crotty is on his way to the Kechan outpost.

The Brave New Ford World offers it's hope that despite the death of *insert leader name(s) here* that an efficient exchange of leadership for your nation of *insert nation name here*. At least that is what my advisors tell me.

A message filters in from Western Asia's State Department:

"While it has been many years since Western Asia was a member of the IDI, we have sought to maintain favorable relations with each of the member nations and we now feel that there is imperative that we return to cooperate with the IDI.

"We hope that Western Asia is welcome to join this meeting."

We support Western Asian participation in this meeting, we may need help.

After a several hours long flight, Princess Lina's Suborbital personal Aircraft landed in Kecha.

IC: All incoming flights for the IDI meeting are to be directed towards the Capital.

OOC:Well I don't think Hakari knows this meeting is happening, Garrison II seems to either not notice or not care anymore about being apart of this alliance and I don't know whats with the rest of the members.

The plane carrying the emperor lands in kecha.

Princess Lina sighed, it was beganing to seem like everytime she entered Kecha something bad had happened before hand. The last time she was in Kecha was in the time of the last Empress and she wondered how things had changed, one thing hadn't she noticed, as she neared the KKF was still a massive and formitable fortress.

Princess Lina dismarked from her plane and went up to the black car she was followed by two knights and also by several Nikja and RSC operatives.

Thank you. The delegate will arrive in a government transport shortly. Once the transport is in range it will take your instructions to land. The transport can land vertically and requires a ten by fifteen meter pad to rest on. The Xanthalian delegate (RN192920394, name Joanna Trixx, gender female, species Xanthalian) will carry a PADD for refrence, and miniature recording devices for use during the meeting. She will be unarmed.

IC: A back door on the car opened, and a young woman stepped out, she was clad in Grey, like a buisiness suit, from the other side stepped an equally young woman in the uniform of the National Guard, the woman in the suit stepped forward with a smile, nodding her head in a slight bow of respect "Princess Lina, welcome to Kecha, I trust you had a good trip?"

Xanthal: There are many pads that size at the Kechan National Space Launch Center.

The Xanthalian transport arrives safely at the KNSLC and Joanna Trixx steps out, stretching after her cramped trip. She looks about herself for anybody the Kechans might have sent to take her to the meeting.

Princess Lina nodded. "Not a bad trip."

Teritora: "Excellent, I'm Kate Crowell, just a Kechan Diplomat, I've been sent to escort you to the KKF"

Xanthal: A black car, and a black van pull up nearby.

Joanna steps up to the vehicles.

Princess Lina nodded. "So shall we go, I wonder how the Emperess is doing, the last I saw she her was when she was a child and her mother was still alive and ruling."

Xanthal: A grey-clad man stepped out of the car, along with a young National Guard trooper.

Teritora: "Yes, well, her mother was killed by assassins, and she assumed rulership at a young age, we can go now if you wish" she gestured to the car she had come in.

Joanna shifts her gaze between the two Kechans. "You are here to take me to the IDI meeting?"

Princess Lina nodded. "Yes lets get moving."

Xanthal: "Indeed" the man in grey said "I hope your trip was a smooth one, I am Diplomat John Swall"

Teritora: "Very well" Crowell gestured to the car "If you would pleas enter the vehicle?"

"And I am Joanna Trixx of the Xanthalian Ministry of International Affairs, diplomatic division." She bows. (I love the bowing thing. Even though it's been over 7,000 years since the Xanthalians migrated out of Japan and China that form of respectful greeting is still the standard for Xanthalians. And a little OOC fact: Bowing is my way of greeting too. I'm still not sure where I learned it from, none of my family does it (and it's not societal since I live in Minnesota), but it's become kind of my signature greeting.)

OOC: I prefer the reversed nod, and a simple "Howdy", I'm an Iowan, s'only proper.

IC: "Good day Mrs. Trixx, it's good to meet you, shall we proceed?"

Joanna doesn't bother to mention that she's not married (nitpicking isn't her style unless her job demands it) and simply smiles. "Yes, that would be wonderful."

IC: "Well then, if you would please step into the car, we can be on our way, the Empress also wishes for me to tell you she as the highest hopes for Xanthal reopening relations with the IDI, and hopes they see fit to rejoin"

Emperor Vito and Grand Inquisitor Tarkin's plane lands at the airport.

IC: A black car, followed by a black van pulls up to greet them.

"I see. I shall deliver that sentiment to the Senate." Joanna steps into the car and sits, fastening her seatbelt and settling in for the ride.

They exit the plane flanked by half a dozen guards.

Belem: As with the other groups, a Diplomat and a National Guard trooper step out of the car, noone exits the van.

Xanthal: "Thank you, I'm sure She will be happy to hear that" Crowell said, as she and the NG trooper climbed back into the vehicle, closing their doors, the car started moving.

Tarkin and Vito walk up to the diplomat followed by 2 of the guards the other stand by the ramp to the plane.

Joanna looks perplexed. "She?"

Belem: the Diplomat smiled as he saw the Belemian Emperor Vito approaching "Emperor Vito, nice to finally meet you, your trip was well yes? and you as well Grand Inquisitor?"

Xanthal: "The Empress, Mr. Trixx, we often refer to Her like that"

Vito: Yes very well
Tarkin: It was fine. when will the meeting begin?

Belem: "As soon as everyone is together, we have representatives from Teritora and Xanthal as well, the Empress will attend the meeting personally"

"Excellent. How is Kecha doing these these days?" asks the emperor.

IC: "Fine thank you, we've been in a few wars in our time, but we've never been better than we are now"

"That is good to hear."

"I see." Joanna sits in silence for the rest of the ride.

A small, modified business jet of Reploid Productions make sets down in Kecha. Within sits the President of Western Asia, Chaim Benyamin, and his security entourage.

Only an hour before, he'd heard that his long-time friend and Western Asia's Vice President was killed in an attack by Tordoran operatives in downtown Jerusalem. The Secretary of State had taken over the VP's duties in the President's absence and was hard at work supervising the investigation into the Tordoran attackers. Already, almost a dozen TLPA operatives had been arrested over the last two days, but a third group had made good on its mission.

The news had only made his determination to act against the Tordoran rebels that much more intense and urgent.

He is visibly angry as he shouts on a mobile phone while he is ushered into a waiting car and driven to the conference center.

Both the Xanthalian and WA cars arrive at the KKF, and are quickly ushered to the Meeting Room.

OOC: Be right back.

Joanna takes a seat and waits for the meeting to begin, reading through her notes as she does.

IC: Eventually the Teritoran and Belemian representatives get ushered in to the Meeting Room as well, after a few minutes, the doors open again, to reveal the young Kechan leader, Empress Aidan Kushrenada.

Xanthal: "Indeed" the man in grey said "I hope your trip was a smooth one, I am Diplomat John Swall"

Teritora: "Very well" Crowell gestured to the car "If you would pleas enter the vehicle?"

Princess Lina entered the car, her bodyguards followed closely.

Joanna rises and bows deeply. "Empress of Kecha, I give you the goodwill of the Republic as well as my own. I am honored by your presence."

Teritora: Princess Lina was taken to the KKF, then escorted to the Meeting Room.

Meeting Room: The Empress smiled slightly at Joanna "It's good to meet you as well, the good will of the Republic, and of yourself are both returned in full, I assure you"

Joanna sits. "The Republic is largely unfamiliar with the current state of affairs and operations of the IDI. If I am out of line at any time please do not hesitate to tell me. I do not wish to be a disruption, my job is to observe, participate, and learn; then bring that experience back with me to aid the Senate and Council in their decision regarding Xanthal's future IDI status. I must say now that although it is almost certain that the Republic will establish formal positive relations with the IDI, it is highly doubtful that we will actually join. As you probably know, Xanthal has just finished a period of planned contraction. Part of that contraction was loosing ourselves from almost all of our alliances. The Republic does not wish to take on more international obligation then it can handle in its current state."

Princess Lina bowed, she was dressed in Cermonial Plate armor with a Royal Blue Cape. "Emperess."

IC: The Empress nodded to Princess Lina with a smile, then turned to Joanna "I'm sorry to hear you won't probably be rejoining, but I hope you'll at least end up opening good relations"

"Nothing is impossible, perhaps we will be surprised."

IC: "I hope so, now, does everyone know why this meeting was called?"

Joanna simply nods, remaining silent.

IC: "Good, everyone else knows I assume, so, we can get started, unless anyone has something to say beforehand?"

Joanna waits, watching the attending delegates.

The President's car arrives and he is ushered into the meeting room. Most of his entourage is lead to the general security room with other body guards while a pair of aides follow the President of Western Asia to the meeting chambers.

Upon entering he bows politely to his hostess and to the other present delegates before taking a seat at a table marked with his name.

At the Empress' query, he looks up with a morose expression that betrays the feelings beneath the smiles that accompanied him through the door.

"Why yes, your highness, I believe that we all are aware of the situation.

"Perhaps it would be beneficial if, when the meeting begins, we open with some short statements about the effect of the recent revival of Chairman Woe's supporters...and the dangers that this event poses to us all."

IC: "Good idea, I think we all know the situation is somewhat touchy"

Princess Lina spoke. "Our King is dead, slain by TLPA assassins and theres the distant threat to us all if they get their hands on the WMDs that Tordor holds, expecelly their vast orbital weaponary. It is known that Tordor even has several Charged Particle cannons like was used by Cybertopia in the last war that is reported to be even more powerful than the Charged Particle cannon used by Cybertupia and the TLPA has a hatred for all the nations that foiled and destoried Chairman Woe and his goverment. They can not be allowed to get their hands on those terrorible weapons for they would surely use them on us all. They must be stopped."

"The TLPA has made several sloppy and unsuccessful attempts to assassinate several of our leaders. We have also confirmed several terrorist attacks in outlying Xanthalian colonies to be connected to the Tordorans. We may no longer be IDI, but it doesn't seem to matter to them. Whatever you decide to do, you will have the Republic at your side."

"His Majesty King Matrex has contacted me and has told me that he is enroute to the meeting and that he will be taking our spots as delegates here. he has told me to inform you all that he has not had any threat to his life. He was already enroute when I talked to him. We weilll be leaveing right now."said Carlos

The President, having heard his fellows, stands to speak: "The situation in Western Asia is thus: We have deployed forces in support of the rightful government of Tordor, as we believe all willing IDI nations should, and they have already faced combat.

"Over the last few days, a branch of our national intelligence service has arrested or otherwise neutralized almost a dozen operatives. Unfortunately, it seems that these actions have not saved us from harm. While the other agents we detained were apparently little more than crack TLPA assassins and soldiers, a third group was most certainly a TLPA intelligence hit squad. All known members of that squad were killed or committed suicide shortly after a fatal attack on the Vice President of Western Asia, a good friend of mine. I will be leaving this location within the next day or so to attend his ceremonies.

"The assault was made against his convoy in the streets of Jerusalem and endangered, injured, or killed many civilians and police officers not two hours ago.

"Their cause was clear: to wreck some twisted idea of 'revenge' upon all nations affiliated with the IDI. Like it or not, this problem will come to ALL former and present IDI nations."

The President takes a moment for his speech to set in before he continues.

"As of this time, we have a small ground force in Tordor and a large fleet off of the coast, where our forces are supporting the Loyalist Tordorian forces. Well aware of the threat posed by the orbital weapons of the Tordorians, we have activated aerospace forces with various surface-to-space means of eliminating satellites and orbiting military platforms. These forces are on 24 hour alert and can be called upon to strike at a large number of targets within an hour and a half.

"If the Loyalists begin to falter, we will have no choice but to use these means to protect ourselves, to protect your nations, and to protect the world.

"Thank you. I hope that our meeting can serve to improve the status of this situation."

IC: "So far any attemppts at assassinating anybody in Kecha have failed totally, the news of the Charged Particle Cannons being in danger of falling into TLPA hands is disturbing, I therefore propose we find a way to neutralize the CPCs if necessary"

"Xanthal has that capability. We can have a small fleet of ships on standby to neutralize the threat if the IDI approves such action. The bulk of our fleet is occupied at the moment, but sparing a few ships shouldn't be a problem."

IC: "Good, Kecha can also spare some ships for such an eventuality, now that that's been dealt with for now, on to other issues, such as how to prevent future assassination tries"

"Diplomacy is not an effective option. As much as I regret to say it, the Tordoran government is not the problem; it is the Tordoran people. They all pose a threat, as they have been brought up and taught to hate. Xanthal proposes that it works with the IDI to subjugate and occupy Tordor. We will build a new government and attempt to change their society with new laws, better conditions, and modified education practices. If significant progress is not made within fifty years, we propose a pullout coupled with a perpetual blockade of Tordor to keep their violence confined to their own nation."

IC: Empress Kushrenada was sitting now, she steppled her figners together on the table and looked at everyone present "I won't candy-coat my words here people, I never liked doing such things, I fear that the Xanthalian Representative's view may be all to correct, it's not the Tordoran Government alone, its the people, the Government simply provides them with a rallying point, Kecha supports the proposal made by Xanthal, much as it is unpleasant"

Princess Lina. "Amitly I hate the Tordorans, but the Current government, has made great progress it is the rebels that are the problem, if the government was unpopular it would have fallen to those rebels but it hasn't and there are even loyal Gurrellas that are fighting behind the rebel lines agaist the rebels. Do we want to go down as overthrowing an popular government that has made great improvements over every other government in that nations history. I can not suport such a thing. It is wrong. The problem is the rebels, not the government."

IC: "Princess Lina, noone said such action would be popular, I dislike it myself, but it looks to be the best course available to us, we won't destroy anything that does not need to be destroyed, if parts of the Government are good, they will remain, that which is rotted will be removed, simple, unpleasant, but it would get the job done"

The King enters the meeting room." Sorry I'm late. I have been briefed on all of the details. I would like to send my regards to all that have been effected. All attemps on mine or anyone else's life in my family and government have been failures. I think that as much as I still have bad personal feeling about Xanthal I think that his proposal is the best."

IC: "So far we have 3 in favor of Xanthal's plan, 1 against"

The Emperor and Tarkin start talking quietly to each and then Grand Inquisitor Tarkin leans back and speaks "Perhaps we can reach a middle ground for the neccesary actions. The Holy Imperial Empire suggests that the rebels be given an ultimatuem surrender or be executed as traitors. Once the rebellion is put down IDI troops will maintain the peace in Tordor"

Princess Lina spoke. "Well the Tordoran government has never had a maintaned a large miltary, not for a nation of its size because of the size limitation placed upon its miltary size and by choise, its rather tiny, just very well funded and loyal. That is why when one of the Prime Minsters tried to over throw the government and establish a Corporate dictatorship they had to get help from Europa Brittania to put it down. One of the reasons why Europa Brittania has that massive base that fell, the Current government gave them the base to them years ago."

The President voices his opinion, "I believe that it is less of a question of supporting the Loyalists than it is to limit the danger if the government ever fell. It is obviously of great concern that such an apparently unstable government has such powerful and dangerous weaponry. Perhaps the Loyalists could be convinced to take better security measures or even to abandon some of the more powerful weapons systems while the fragments of Chairman Woe's party survive.

"In any case, it is my earnest opinion that the IDI should step in to support this government. We look forward to facing the battle with the aid of your governments, if possible."

I think we need to get them to disarm and send IDI troops in to keep the peace. We should get Loyalist to agree to get ride of the weapons. If we win this opperation there might be a next and then another.We need some sort of agreement on there part to make sure we are not put in danger anymore on their behalf.

Disarm? their surrounded by Imperalist dictatorships and empires. But before we start making disions about doing anything. Maybe we should have a full intel about the Tordor. Teritora has maintained spies in Tordor since the last war and I could have a compiled report here in less than an half hour so everyone here knows what we are dealing with both sides.

When I said disarm I mean they lay down weapons and we protect them with our powers. Thatnk you I migt have misspoken I don't know alot about Tordor.

IC: "Who's up for a new proposal?"

It is best to make desions after one knows the facts so we all save our selves grief later, I could have the full compiled report here in a half hour like I said.

"Perhaps our plan is too rash. How about this: We deploy peacekeeping forces to stop the internal conflicts and protect the current government while actively hunting the rebels. We place severe restrictions and checks on all traffic in and out of Tordor to help stop rebel supplies from coming in and rebel terrorists from getting out. Then we begin monitoring and tracing all internal and external communications to help pinpoint rebel strongholds within and without Tordor."

IC: "Good idea, or we could send in peacekeeping forces, not to protect the Government, but to remove the Rebel threat, we don't want to go making any other promises, they can be lethal"

"If the government becomes corrupt we can always just do away with it. We don't like taking control of al=nother nation's government, but in this case it may be necessary to ensure that we don't end up with the same problems we started with."

"I like the new plan. Less of us changeing the way they think and taking over their home land. I would like to know when we are geting the intel reports on Tordor. I think that we need the intel to make any decision ,but we might have to go with out it, if we don't get it pretty soon."

"Then by all means, let's wait for the intelligence report to come in."

IC: "Just what all does everyone believe we need to know before action is taken?"

Teritora said he could half it in a half an hour which was a long time ago. I think if he really does have the report we should use it if he doesn't we have to work on what we have.

OOC:Sorry found my weekday internet time unexpectly wiped out, I wasn't able to get on until today.

IC:An aide carrying a leather bound report comes in, Princess Lina spoke. "There is, What did you do? Skin and tan the sheeps skin for the pages? Heres the Report" Princess Lina spoke. "Tordor is ruled by Queen Seria Misekasi-Trapes who accended the throne at 16 after 7 years of regency after the murder of her parents by the Orders of the last Prime Minster as a part of a failed corporate coup. Then Princess Seria fled to the Europa Brittiania Base and gave them premition to intervine. She then did several things after she accended the throne. She dissoved the Prime Minstary and trasfered the minstries to her own control, allowed elections for Public officals in every city and reformed the Parlament so Corporation heads could not in it without forsaking their corporate power and giving half their riches to charity. Under Queen Seria, tordoran peacekeepers moved in and stablized what is called Tordoran Nasseriya after that Nearby Empire fell apart and it was divided up by the other regional empires. Currently Tordoran Nasseriya is the only part of Nasseriya that rules itself as the rest has all becomes parts of the empires of regional powers. She has also nearly eliminated all crime in Tordor and is an extremely popular and beloved ruler.

The Tordoran Royal miltary is organized pretty simply with 1,600,000 Active duty personal during peace time which due to the TLPA opening surpise attack was wiped down to a third of what it was.

The Royal Selfdefense force which is the The Army/Airforce concists of 1,000,000 personal. Combat Equipment are Updated Japanese Type 74 Main Battle Tanks: 2,000, Updated japanese Type 73 APCs: 3,000,
Geran Type 45 Combat assult Robots: 1,000 Gei Assult Mechs: 250
Vorin Defender Mechs: 250 and finally Japanese Mitsubishi F-1, Close surport fighters: 1,000. They also havep partal control of the Tordoran Orbital weapons of mass destruction jointly with the Royal Maritime defense force but the order to use them has to come from the Queen herself. They are also in partal command of the defenses against Orbital attacks, mainly battaries of cannons and missiles that are the last line of defense against an orbital bombardment.

The Royal Maritime defense force or the Tordoran Royal Navy/Coast guard concists of 480,000 Personal and uses updates versons of Japanese warships:

They have control over Tordors non orbital weapons of mass destruction besides their normal duties.

The Remaining 120,000 active duty Personal belong to Tordor Space Forces that defend Tordor's Colonies in Colonial defense stations and main the OCS. They also serve in Tordor's space fleets.

OCS or The Orbital Command Station is a Space Station in high Earth Orbit. From this Orbital base and though the use of Satallites a 3D map of the world is keep up to date by the second that is used to monter Miltary movements across the world as well as cilvlian plane and ship movements are montiored as well. Also the Command Center acts as a secondary command center from which Tordors Orbital weapons can be operated from. The station is heavy defended by a powerful Laser defense grid and Sublight Missile system and is well garrisoned to repeal boarders.

Tordoran Colonial defense stations: These stations act as defence systems against attacks against the Tordoran Space colonies, they are the launching places of the Tordoran Space fighters and come with a barrage of Sublight missiles along with batteries of long ranged antiship and short ranged defensive laser and particle cannons. Each station is crewed by 3,000 men including space marines and can field 250 star fighters.

What Starships Tordor are rather familar sight for some here, the orginal ships were based upon stolen plans of the second generation of Teritoran Star Warships. They are organized into 3 mobile fleets with patrol ships operating in each system and colony area.

This are not really a concern as the rebellion never reach the colonies.

The Tordorans miltary biggest Asset is training which besides the normal boot camp there is miltary education the solders are all put through. Tordor has several Major miltary acadamies. Their soldiers are amoung the most highly trained and intellegent as well which is likely why they havent fallen to the rebel forces.

IC: "Wow" Empress Kushrenada said "That's quite a report"

Princess Lina spoke. "We belive in being very through, theres still some more but I thought it would be best to stop for questions before continuing."

IC: "Actually, I do have one question, you said that the order to use their Orbital Weapons of Mass Destruction has to come from the Queen, is there anyone else who can give the Order if she is unable?"

"I will leave the final decision up to the IDI. Do you want us to work with you on your action plan?"

Princess Lina replied. "If she was dead it would be the next king or Queen, if the next ruler is unable to or is to young, it would take an act of the whole Queens Council voting together to issue the order, same if the Queen was to ill to issue the order."

IC: "Well, this is turning out to be most difficult"

Princess Lina spoke. "Is there any more Questions or should I continue?"

IC: "I have no more question, does anyone else?"

Joanna shrugs.

Princess Lina spoke again. "Well I guess any other questions can wait intil after I finish." She Began again. "An part of the Government are the minstries made of lifetime working officals that earned their placement in that minstry. There are three major government Agencies that are notable as they each have their own National Police Force.

The first of which is the the Royal Agency of Robotics and Cybernic Research:An agency formed at the beganing of the 21 century whos goal has been the advancement of Robotics and Cybernitics for the the glory of the crown. They have brought Robotics and cybernitic techology to new heights and some of their advancements have seemed to be right out of a scfi novel or an Anime. They are also in charge of the TP. An special sub agency police force formed to deal with robotic and cybernic related crimes, it is noted that most the officers are cyborgs. They have their own rather large Police station with its own Arsinal of weapons do to the dangers they might face. They are very well equiped:

The Royal Agency for dealing with dealing dangerious criminal elements.(The Tank Police): This agency was formed to deal with a new breed of criminals that poped up after the chaos of the Tordoran wars. Criminals who regularly used Miltary weapons and vehicles to commit crimes, criminals that could not be handled by the Regular police. This Specal Police force is commonly nicknamed the tank Police do to their use of a special Breed of tanks Devoloped for their use. However they are also trained to use TAR-14 Assult rifles and other miltary weapons to get the job done. These people crushed the TLPA hopes of easly seizing many cities where they had badly mauled Self defense forces even worse than what happened during the uprising.

The Royal Agency for the safety of the Monarchy(Think the FBI, CIA, NSA, Deta force and the secret service rolled into one.):This agency is dedated to the preseveration of the Monarchy from any threat from outside or from within. Less polite people however have refered to them as a bunch of ninjas, like those that serve the various ranking nobles of Tordor, however such people tend to dispear afterwards. This agency is very mysterious in nature and it is said that the only one who knows much about this agency is the queen and even she doesn't know much.

Now to the enemy:

TLPA: The resergence of the TLPA is blamed mainly on a few excaping party members that didn't get killed or found out as members of Chairman Woe's party and on SS members takan to Xanthal but never tried for their crimes. however they found they couldn't get a large base anymore but was forced to draw their members from people living farthest from the huge Skyscraper cities and the larger towns. However they had evently massed large amount of money, because much of their forces, nearly 2/3, are highly paid Mercenaries. Unlike the Royalist forces and troops, the TLPA troops other than the mercenaries and the SS are diehard backwards racists who are general ill eductated and not incourged to think by their leaders. They are drawn from mainly from the most remote parts of Tordor far from the massive cities and the large towns. Their leader is one Duke Ternmsi, a man from a remote duchy but of no real noble birth, he was a SS captian back during the last war. He is the real brains behind everything along with the SS council. This time around it will be at least easy to tell who the SS are, they are the officer core of the TLPA. The TLPA has a strict chain of command and they use no set standard for weaponary." Princess Lina spoke again ending the report. "Both sides do have one thing in common However, their counter Intellence operations stinks. They couldn't find a spy if he danced in front of them and all but told them himself."

IC: "If this Duke Ternmsi is the leader of the TLPA, and their Counter-Intelligence is so poor, I have a plan, risky, but a plan that could work nonetheless"

Princess Lina spoke. "Poor is not the word, its beyond pathic, the RSC operative reported he could have had he the orders taken out the whole upper command and get away. He said even a Nikja child or an half trained RSC operative could do it."

IC: "Good, it makes my plan easier to carry out, do you wish to hear it?"

Joanna places her chin in her hands. "I do."

Princess Lina. nodded. "Indeed."

IC: "You say they wouldn't know a spy if he danced in front of them and all but told them he was a spy, so why must we settle for spys in low-level positions, when, with the proper means, we can have spys put in upper-level positions very quickly? with the proper use of drugs, medical techniques and such, especially since our Intelligence operations are much better than theirs"

Princess Lina chuckled. "A few days easly, they aren't paying to much attention, they seem most upset their master plans failed to work."

IC: "The base of my plan is this: we send in a team made up of Special Forces from all participating nations, one-by-one we capture their secondary leadership, each time we do so, we use drugs, coupled with straight questioning and other methods to find out all we need to know, then, through use of surguries and the like, we physically modify a Special Forces Operative to look like them, kill the real one, and insert our Operative in their place, it could take a while, but we could infiltrate the group enough to insure TOTAL elimination when we finally move on them openly"

Princess Lina spoke. "Sounds good."

IC: "Thank you, there are details to be worked out of course"

"Xanthal can provide division one operatives to this mission."

OOC: That might cause some apprehension. As you may recall, division one of the Ministry of Intelligence is the Xanthalian covert operations division authorized to operate outside of domestic and international law to achieve the objectives set for them by the Xanthalian government.

IC: "Division One, that's a group authorized to work 'outside of the law' right?" Empress Kushrenada paused in thought "We can provide a number of our own Special Forces for this, as you know, Kecha is known for it's commandos"

"Of course, theres always details, we don't want make stupid mistakes after all."

IC: "Right, mistakes kill people, so, we're in favor of this?"

"We won't send in division one if you're uncomfortable with them, but they are perfect for this type of assignment. They are highly trained in impersonation, information gathering both social and electronic, and are extremely efficient assassins."

OOC: She's not kidding either. Division one has only 500 members, and only 100 of the members are actual field operatives. Those 100 are quite possibly the best multi purpose covert OPS team in the galaxy. Of course, there aren't that many of them...

OOC: We could give them a run for their money.

IC: "Feel free to send them in in my opinion, now, how large should the Capture Team we use be?"

"Of course we will be providing our RSC operatives of course. I don't need to go into how good they are."

Kecha: OOC: Do I smell a contest? We should pit my best against your best, five on five. We can choose a scenario and let them fight it out in a holographic simulation (so we don't bitch at each other when they die).

"Just tell me where they should be and when. We can supply up to thirty operatives, but I doubt you'll need that many. Thirty division one operatives could completely destroy the rebels and the government all on their own."

Xanthal(OOC): I agree to such a contest.

IC: "I suggest Teritora, Kecha, and Xanthal all send in their top 5 Special Forces Operatives to be part of the Capture Team"

Princess Lina rised her eyebrows at the statement from the Xanthalian but didn't say anything, it would be intresting to see if someone had finally devoloped a group that could compare to Teritoras, Kechas and Hakari's spying and special forces. "Of course, 5."

OOC: They can probably take anyone in an even match, but a good covert OPS team can beat them with sheer numbers. Like I said, the best of the best may be great, but there are only so many of them. They may take out dozens of the enemy before they go down, but they will go down eventually faced with overwhelming numbers.

IC: "Very well, we are in agreement it seems"

I really don't thik this is a good idea. I think it will be a good showing though. I will definatly be there. I am wondering about Xanathal's units being put into action for the IDI.

Joanna catches the Matrex representative's comment on her way out. She smiles, but doesn't say anything. Division one would get the job done; they always did.
She is escorted back to her transport and she lifts off, headed for home.

The President smiles at the flurry of decisive activity on the part of his fellow leaders and the sight of the Xanthalian representative rushing out of the room. But matters are not settled enough for his taste.

"Now, if you will allow me, what should be done in terms of placing conventional forces on the ground until your special plans can be brought to completion?

"As you must be well aware, none of these special operatives will be ready for at least several days, perhaps even several weeks will elapse between the start of the operation and its completion...but concrete action cannot wait for that.

"At this moment, several thousand Western Asian marines are sitting ashore in Tordor awaiting the arrival of tens of thousands of enemy soldiers...the ships and airships give our troops their only real advantage in the situation.

"Now, does anyone have a plan that will help our forces, and those of the Loyalist Tordorans, survive until this scheme is completed?"

OOC: Sorry for the delay...I've been busy...

IC: "Conventional forces you ask? I can deploy one of my Navy's Carrier Squadrons to the area, each has some Stealth Bombers, and some Fighters, the like, these could be used to maintain air superiority in a conventional conflict, I'd keep them in International Waters untill fighting broke out of course, I can also keep some National Guard units on standby if you wish"

"That would be, I can assure you, greatly appreciated.

"I will have my aides send you some information about the status and location of our fleet in the area. Our fleet should be able to extend some protection for your fleet when your forces enter the conflict.

"At this time, our Marine forces are expecting the first contacts with TLPA forces within a day or two. We hope to secure the beachhead in the coming fight so that friendly forces may use it in the future. Already, we have a large Marine Corps contingent en route, but their arrival has been delayed by logistical issues.

"Of course, your assistance, as any, is very well appreciated and I thank you for it."

IC: "I can also deploy Special Forces to the area, to skip back behind the lines, and mess up TLPA supplies"

"That would be greatly appreciated. We have some of our Special Forces teams on the ground already but, as can be imagined, they are spread thin."

An aide whispers something in the President's ear.

"One of our SOCS type 2 (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1866691#1866691) vessels in the fleet is being run without its special forces contingent since a pair of those vessels were deployed with the fleet's teams. That can be deployed under your fleet command if your soldiers need it. The specifications will be available to you soon."

IC: "We'll consider that" she paused for a moment "How does some Supertank force sound? as in about 500 of them?"

"My lady, any assistance that you can render would be greatly appreciated. We would be glad to send ULAs to transport your units to Tordor and, once we have secured or built a sufficiently heavy airstrip, Pelican ULTRAs to move more of your units into the sector.

"If your main forces are delayed then our Marines can provide infantry security and escourt for your soldiers."

IC: "In terms of Infantry, we can send up to 30,000 at one time, we could also ship up to 3,000 JOAP MKI Supertanks, but I'm only able to spare 500 at the time, I'll have 50,000 soldiers of the Imperial Militia mobilized and kept on standby, that's a full Corps, then I'll have a full Division of 15,000 National Guard troopers kept ready as well, then I'll mobilize another unit of National Guard Combat Engineers, a Battalion of 1,000, I'll order the National Guard Combat Engineers sent over first, then the other National Guard troops, then the Supertanks, then the Militia, the Carrier Squadron can recieve orders to go this moment if you wish"

Princess Lina chuckled. "JOAP MKI Supertanks, the only thing the rebels have powerful enough to take those on are all up north attacking the capital or surrounding their headquarters., they will be in for a serious surpise when those show up. We got the RSC which could deploy, thats 120,000 troops, 3,000 MBTs, 2,000 MTs, 1500 APCs which was created for rapid deployment to get large numbers to troops to the aid of an ally as quickly as possable and we got a Fleet that could set sail within a day."

IC: "If everything they have to take on a Supertank is far away in the north, we could rip the guts out of their operations quickly"

Princess Lina nodded. "Indeed and most of their ground Airdefense is also near the capital or around their headquarters as well... they seem to think that Teritora is going to rain down more of those 30,000 pound bunker busters like we did the last time."

IC: "How about instead of manned craft, we hit any solid enemy fortifications with Cruise Missiles first off, to crush their back without risking pilots"

IC:Other than Air fields, the the rebel bases are under ground or hidden so they couldn't be spotted by Aircraft or satallites, they had to to keep their locations from the government before their uprising, we can find them easly enough by the signals, the ones we can find are captured minor government bases, the real government built strongholds are still in the hands of the government along with the imporant bases. Do you have missiles that can hit underground targets?

IC: "We use the Sunburn-Class Cruise Missiles, they carry a maximum load of 200 kilotons, and can be fitted with Armor Piercing warheads, is that good enough?"

IC: You could take out some targets, The the mechs surrounding the headquarters and the SAM missile sites. You can't miss them, even from the Air now, those go, all that will be needed to worry about is the enemy Aircraft not really a match for any Aircraft we have, Their rather outdated but many in number, main F-15 A Eagles, F-16 Falcons and such, 1980s tech planes. Thats why the Surviving Loyalist Airforce that wasn't destroyed on the ground are still holding a limited Airspace.

IC: "We still use F-14 Tomcats and such, because they're still effective, if we can get exact targeting coordinates, we can take out the necessary targets with Cruise Missiles, and other such weapons"

IC:Yes but most people updated theirs, use their own fighters or are switching over to the new F-22s, these things are still using orginal firing systems and radar for their fighters. The Underground places will need, at least two 3,000 Pound Bunker busters at a minimum to take out. The Mechs with their rather dated armor would likely be cripled after a Missile strike, and the SAM sites are figured on shoting Aircraft down not missiles so those are easy targets. We will sent the coornates at once.

IC: "I'd think it'd be easy for a 200 kiloton Cruise Missile to take out a bunker that would fall to a couple of 3,000 pound Bunker Busters, the Cruise Missiles can pull mach three"

IC:The 3,000 Bunker busters have to hit in two different locations on the underground bunker/bases to be effective to take out the target.

IC: "Then a single 200 kiloton device rigged to be a Bunker Buster ought to take it out, but we'll use three per target if it makes you comfortable"

IC:Two would do it, it has to do with how the bases are designed, a Single missile striking any one part would only damage the base, what happens is that the two shockwaves combined overwelm the strained surport systems execally when they interact callapsing the base in on itself.

IC: "Very well, two per target"

IC:The Targeting coorenates have been sent... triple double encryption on a secure channel.

"These plans seem to be working out well now.

"In terms of our abilities to place ordinance on-target, Western Asia has deployed a pair of Gatekeeper ULAs...basically they're aerial cruise missile platforms. They are each loaded with 128 air launched cruise missiles at ready with significant reload capacity relative.

"Two more have just been cleared in Western Asia and should be arriving within a few days. At current, we have PDE-improved CALCM missiles with various warheads...penetrating and sub-munitions dispensing. They have a reach of about 1,000mi. Unfortunately, their long ranges are not met by similar speeds and our current bests only peak about 2 mach.

"If your forces require the cover of any of the Gatekeeper units over Tordor then their services will be available to you.

"And, if our marines hold their ground, there will be a large safe landing zone for all IDI forces."

IC: "Alright, this is working, do you want me to have my forces started shipped over now?"

"I'll have the IDF's Strategic Transport Command move several ULA transport airlifters to support your initial landing forces. The marines in Tordor are supposed to be engaging the enemy forces soon and will begin the organization and construction of sufficient airlift infrastructure when battle is completed and the reinforcements have arrived by ship."

IC: "Very well" Empress Kushrenada called in an aid, and whispered several things to her quickly, the aid typed quickly on a palm computer, then rushed away, Empress Kushrenada nodded to the other at the meeting "I've just given the necessary orders for the troop movements, if I'm right about this, those Combat Engineers I'm sending will be worth thteir own weight in gold"

But remember that my forces will probably engage some of the main Tordoran TLPA forces before any help can arrive. Some facilities are available for landing aircraft, but not many of them are really that safe.

Also, the large ULAs (Ultra Large Airships/Airlifters) can bear about 1000 tonnes of equipment.

ETA of supporting marines: 2.5 rp days, for ~12,000 marines, incl. an armored brigade...bringing WA's IDF Marine Corps land forces to well over 15,000 soldiers with several hundred vehicles.

ETA of supporting Gatekeeper units: 3-4 rp days.

Earliest ETA of IDI forces via ULA: 3.5-5 rp days.

IC:Our Naval Fleet will arrive 49 hours, the RSC landing fleet with the ground forces can arrive in 3 days but with the amount of troops we got in it will take them while to land them all.

OOC: I'll go to the thread you listed and RP my troops setting out for their destination WA, remeber, I'm using choppers, they can go vertical, and need only a moderate patch of flat, open space.

IC: The Empress simply looked at the WA rep' "Can your Marines hold? that's the really big question"

IC:Princess Lina also Turned and faced the WA repisenative "Indeed, can your forces hold?"

"I have the greatest confidence that my men will hold. With the Gatekeepers already on-site and the naval forces in support, they should make a fine mess of the TLPA soldiers.

"No matter the specifics of the result, the TLPA will not emerge from this fight without a great number of losses. Between the naval and aerial bombardments, my men will at least have caused some serious damage.

"Honestly, I cannot foresee the outcome...my men are facing great odds, but they are equipped as best as I can ensure."


OOC: Official for now: TLPA forces in other thread are 250km from my forces' base, but the pace is slowed under aerial bombardment and due to guerilla attacks by Tordoran Loyalists as they move through heavy forests with a limited number of heavy armored units.

Kecha, there should be plenty of space for them to land and spread out. If plans go well (ie, the men hold) then I'll also have a lot of HLCACs and the sort to lend to your forces for landings.

IC: "Noone can totally predict the end of a battle, not with the best Intelligence Corps in the Known Universe, just be sure to tell us if the Marines lose hold of their lines, we don't want to land unawares in a collapsing Combat Zone"
