Nuclear Missiles Wanted
Rabid Imperialism is interested in purchasing some nuclear missiles, as a deterrent against unknown threats. What would it cost per missile to purchase and maintain them?
let's see. an icbm costs approx 125-200 million depending on payload and warhead complexity. maintenance is roughly 1 million annually in standby mode, and 2.5 million annually in alert mode.
shorter range missiles cost less. but the maintenace costs don't scale nearly as fast as the cost of the missile.
I don't know if you'll get any as 'deterants to unkniown threats.' Thats just too vauge.
