Found in "Janes Revised Space Assets for Major Nations and Groups", under New York and New Jersey:
The Federal Stellar Navy of New York and New Jersey is a relatively new fleet to the galactic scene. Using materials from shipyards under Menelmacar control all 21 vessels of the FRSN have not been built by human hands. This has however changed with the addition of Chimera Staryards in Earth Orbit. The FRSN started out with the SCVN-2800, the FRSN John F Kennedy and gradually grew through agreements with Menelmacar over the construction of the other 20 vessels. Currently Chimera Station is building 8 more of the Kidd class Space Destroyers. The Federal Republic went to great pains with the Hammerhead class Endo/Exo Multirole Fighter. Many test flights ended in unforseen failures which either killed the pilot or caused them serious injury. At the Federal Combat Systems Aerospace Center, a memorial was erected to all 24 test pilots killed or injured during the SA-43s breaking in phase.
