Crimmond is planning to build a large space station in Earth orbit. It will be open to the international community and will have the following technical stats, recently released from the Fleet.

Docking Capabilities:
2 Yard Docks,m capable of holding two Mon-Cal Cruisers each
30 Airlock Softdocks
4 Harddocks

Power:
2 Urban Fusion/Plasma Powerplants
10 Secondary Fusion Powerstations

Weapons:
Not Known.

Crew:
Not Known.

Non-Crew Capacity:
Not Known

Construction will begin as soon as the final plans are submitted. We are assured that the construction site will be well protected and that the station will be open to all nations freely, though while on the station, conforming to the laws of Crimmond, as the station will not be internationally owned or operated. It will simply be open to whomever wishes to stop by. Information on it's orbit is limited, but we are told it will be in orbit over the Northern Hemisphere.

There is a debate in the media over why the Fleet has not named the project or the station, using the project's code number, Station Construction #847, instead. The Fleet states that the name will be revealed when the station's last hull plate, bearing the station's name, is attached.

Sol is the most heavly defended and populated System in the Galaxy I would have to say with all the various nations with their orbital and colonial defense stations, orbital weapons, Space docks, astroid mining stations, star fleets, space colonies, trading posts and more, one more shouldn't make a diffence. Doogie Howser, I remember when he got his a*s kicked at Beyond Ordinary (an alternative bar) here in Albuquerque. Damn, does this reveal my age? lol That happened about a dozen years ago and the bar has been closed for 1/2 that.

The Steel-Orion Empire has no right to dictate what another sovereign nation cn and cannot do.

It will be used for commerce and minor military roles. Trade talks will be common, we assume.

The Anti-Funitist Regime of Auman would like to congradulate the nationstate of Crimmond on this endeavour. We know that you've had some trouble with space facilities since the untimely downfall of Lunar Yard 1...with what little influence we've had in that :oops:

Official response: No hard feelings. We lost about ten ships and thousands of good people, but the Empire recovered. Actually we've had little trouble with our stations since our... incident. The pirates won't go near them since our crews did suicide runs into your fleet. They think we're all a bunch of maniacs.
