Game Summary: In humanity, there are a few random members of society who have access to a new "world" all together when they go to sleep at night. They inhabit this world, and when they fall asleep in it, they awaken in the real world. However, when an evil man (Sid Kusky) discovers a way to force himself into the Realm, he begins killing people there. These murders have a horrifying result - Anyone killed in the "dream world" dies in real life as well. After his girlfriend (Anette Boosalis) mysteriously dies, a young police officer (Star - Dagr Ateunde) pays a visit to his grandmother (Alia Oleveda) who used to talk of such a place when he was younger. She tells him what she knows, but mysteriously dies the same way the next morning. Enraged, he enlists the help of an ageless physic (Trinity Cambronne) who transports him to and from the dream realm while watching over his body. In the dream world, he meets up with a girl from a far away place (Macie Hammet) who is after the same things he is, answers and vengeance. Eventually they learn that not only has the evil man been killing people in the dream world, he has been turning them into his army of dreams, attacking people from the real world in their minds with them. With the help of another freedom fighter (Leif Gadalavarov), he and the girl fight the army of dreams, but the third member of their group betrays them in real life. The evil man, who turns out to be the police chief, slaughters the physic as well as the hero's phyiscal body in the real world. With time running out, the hero kills the traitor and then makes his way towards the evil man, and in a huge climatic battle, he kills the evil man while avoiding temptation to give in to the army of darkness and kill the girl instead. Relieved, he accepts his fate in the dream world, shaping it however he likes it, but the girl says she must leave. Soon after, she returns with a horrified look on her face...the army of dreams has moved on to the real world...and left it in ruins!

Game Title: Bush War
Game Genre: Tactical real-time combat
Platform: PC
Game Summary: In Bush War, the player takes command of several squads of guerilla fighters from the fictional colonial country of Buntaku and leads them in missions against the government. The game starts out rather linear, but as it progresses the player must make a number of choices impacting the progress and outcome of the war. Eventually you are given choices of which missions to accept, and this determines what factions you and your men align with. Your faction also influences the amount of money and equipment you get; side with leftists and recieve Soviet support, meaning less financial aid but plentiful cheap equipment and expendable allies. Side with pro-capitalist forces and recieve aid from the US, granting you larger amounts of cash and smaller amounts of extremely expensive, high-tech equipment in addition to occasional aid from SpecOps troops. Obviously, the two factions require completely different styles of play to complete the game with. You also have to balance local support for your cause; kill too many civilians, and they may turn on you.

Squad members earn experiance as they progress and can upgrade their weapons by looting, periodic foreign shipments, or buying on the black market. Your own character, the commander, also earns experiance and can improve his leadership characteristics.

Characters: Too many to list; their are over 100 different recruits with their own individual characteristics you can place in your platoon. Your character, the rebel commander, must be selected at the beginning of the game from a list of 3 choices which impact the fighting abilities of your men and give various bonuses and penalties. If your character is the Mercenary, your men will have better initial weapons and training but lower morale, and start with lower public support overall. The Spiritual Leader will give your troops more confidance and make them less likely to route, and you enjoy considerable support in the countryside, but your men practically start from scratch equipment-wise. Finally, the Urban Radical character gives you greater popular support in the cities, and your men start out better at laying booby traps and ambushes, but certain skills suffer in the countryside (like hiding).
Budget: Unknown, but surprisingly low for the gameplay and graphics quality (OOC: I honestly have no idea how much it costs to make a video game)
Cost: $39.99
Developing Company: Continental Gaming, likely one of the first dedicated gaming companies in West Africa. Like most creative business endeavors (and unlike all the rest), it is government regulated but not owned.
Producing Company: Tiny startup Burkina Electronics; because of its low production capacity, the developers are considering have the actual games foreign-produced.
CGI Style: Mid-level graphics overall with decent cutscene CGI, but really spectacular battle effects in terms of sound and explosions.
Average Time It Takes to Complete the Game: 60 Hours, but replay value is high due to many different mission and personnel choices
Difficulty: 3 Levels: Rabble-Rouser, Revolutionary, Commandante (Easy, Medium, Hard)
Rating/Content: M for Mature

*Animated Violence, Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Alcohol Reference
**Likely to piss off the French, as it's strongly suggested the Colonial soldiers are of French origin

Side Notes: The combat is intensely realistic, as the designers interviewed actual guerilla fighters in the Burkina Faso revolutions and struggles for independance. The game isn't likely to sell well in the country because, despite generous social welfare programs, most Burkinabe obviously do not have a PC. Thus the game has been translated into English, Spanish, French, and German and shipped to foreign markets primarily.

Plenty of NPC's some that could go into your party to aid you. Form real bonds with the charecters, and if they are killed by either the real world or your own delusions (ie. you when your not you). Developing Company: Brutal Monkey Devolution (developed such games as Tale of Ares, Windfall Strikes. and the popular Vampires: Revolutions
Producing Company: Amerigo International (produced hundreds of movies, games, tv shows... Has major monopoly in Amerigo over most media releases)
CGI Style: Sprite-based. The background is rich and detailed and although the charecters don't look too magnificent. This game is pushing content over high -tech shiny graphics. However "special effects" albeit animated look sharp and bold. Very immersive enviorment. Poor pathfinding.
Average Time It Takes to Complete the Game: 120 hours minimum,,, sprawling story... huge.
Difficulty: Kinda hard. You don't have to be a hard-core gamer to beat this, although casual gamers might get stuck at certain fights/puzzles.

Game Title: Redemption
Game Genre: Action
Platform: PlayStation 4
Game Summary: The world is a cold place, a dark place. The people that live in it are never lacking in their capacity to sin, they only fall short in their ability to have faith. In a world where morality is a lost cause there is little that can happen to make matters worse… until a long forgotten cult draws upon the essence of man’s sinful nature. Calling upon every evil deed man is capable of they summon the incarnations of the seven deadly sins unto the world of man: Greed, Lust, Pride, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, and Wrath. Concealing their true natures under the guise of human beings they begin to sow the seeds of sin in the heart of man, woman, and child.

One man, Detective Jason Bishop, has paid a high price. He returns home one day to find his wife and two children brutally murdered and mutilated in his own home. Never had he seen such a more decadent display of insane violence and twisted cruelty while working on the police force. Now a broken shell of a man, he quits the force and attempts to take his own life. He ascends to the roof of his apartment building in the pouring rain, amidst the clash of thunder and lightning in the night sky. Putting the pistol to his temple he whispers, “forgive me”, and prepares to pull the trigger. Just at that moment a bolt of lighting strikes down on the building top in a blinding flash, being pulled toward the nearby lightning rod. In that moment Jason is startled and drops his gun off the side of the roof. He takes it as a sign that he is not meant to die and falls to his knees in tears.

Flash forward three months later, a string of murders bizarrely similar to that of his family’s are reported in the newspapers. Something stirs inside of him, perhaps anger, perhaps sorrow, but he resumes his place as Detective in the police force in order to investigate the murders. The murders are only part of a much larger scheme. Jason befriends a local church investigator and learns of the existence of the sinful incarnations that walk amongst the people of the city. Little by little he is pulled deeper into the struggle between good and evil. His mission started out as simply being revenge-the wish to punish whoever was responsible for the brutal deaths of his family- now his mission is one with a higher purpose-to redeem his own soul and the souls of the sinful beings that plague mankind. The Redemption is at hand.

Game Title: Dawn of the Machines
Game Genre: Action
Platform: PlayStation 4
Game Summary: Hundreds of years in the future, machines rule the world. They live in vast megacities and harvest resources just as humans once had. Man made the mistake of giving machines intelligence, and so was man undone by the hands of its own creations. No one knew the machines would advance so quickly and they grew in numbers and power until they waged a devastating war against humankind. The machines emerged as the victors and exterminated every last human being. Human society and history became only a myth and eventually was erased from the machine memory. Kept only in the records of the Great Library, a huge monolith within Omnis, the largest machine metropolis on earth. The records were scheduled for deletion, but certain backup files were lost. Through some strange act of fate, or as the machines call it “selective coincidental reality”, a newly manufactured tactical military machine came to find the files. Some machines tended to question their own origins, but they had come to rely upon the teachings and mandates of the Machine Directory, and were programmed with a belief in the almost religious story of their creator-The Mech Father and the Artificial Dawn- the age when machines came to inhabit and rule the earth. Now this one machine by the name of NDR-907 began to question all he had been programmed to know. This short glimpse and miniscule revelation of the history preceding all artificial civilization had stirred an odd curiosity in him. He had to learn more about these “humans”, and more importantly, what had happened to them. The human culture he had witnessed somehow altered his program operations and he changed his name from NDR to Ender in private as a symbol of his acceptance of human ways. His search would take him deep into the depths of the Directory’s secrets and find out how the Artificial Dawn began…and the Human Race ended.

Budget: $75,000,000
Cost: $55.99
Developing Company: Dream Catcher
Producing Company: Watertest Productions
Average Time It Takes to Complete the Game: 100 Hours
Difficulty: Moderate, takes some time to get used to the artifical city

Game Title: Nightmares
Game Genre: Action\RPG
Platform: PlayStation 4
Game Summary:
There is a boy who lives a tortured life, suffering at the hands of others. His nights are spent with little sleep, as he is haunted by constant nightmares. He is small and weak, he has no friends or people who truly love him. Each day he must deal with the school bullies and indifferent teachers, his physically and verbally abusive family members, and all the strangers that couldn’t care less if he existed or not. The only thing that makes him truly happy is his hobby, the only thing he lives for: comic books and scary movies. He reads each book over and over, letting it all sink in. He watches the same movie until he has memorized every line, every scream. This boy is well acquainted with the creatures of darkness, because he feels he is treated as a monster himself.

One day after school finished, and he had acquired an entirely new set of bruises and scratches, he rode his beat up old bicycle to his favorite bookstore. There he said “hello” to the man behind the counter, the only person he might be able to call friend, and proceeded to look at the selection of comics. But something drew him further to the back of the store, where he had never been before. The store was deceptively small on the outside, as the rows of books reached farther than one would first assume. He slowly made his way to the dark corner in the back, as if drawn by some unseen force. There he glimpsed a thick black book, old but not worn, gathering no dust whatsoever. The book beckoned to him, and he did not resist. He picked the great tome up, it was almost weightless in his hands. Browsing through it he could not truly understand the strange incantations and scripts within, but the pictures were something else. For such an ancient-looking book, the graphic drawings within were amazingly detailed. He soon realized these were the same things he had seen in his dreams, the scenes and creatures depicted in this book. Flipping back to the cover, he could see the book had no name, just a strange symbol.

With little hesitation, the boy carried the book to the front desk to buy it, asking “how much?” The man behind the desk eyed the book oddly, “I don’t remember getting this one in…but I guess I could sell it to you anyway if you really want it.” The boy stared at the man and replied, “I do.” The man decided on the reasonable amount of 5 dollars. The boy was lucky, the only money his parents allowed him to have was school lunch money, but he hadn’t eaten all week (as usual) in order to prepare for his trip to the bookstore. All he had was 5 dollars, but in his heart he was sure it would be worth it. He thanked the man and left with a smile on his face. When he reached home it was the same old routine, his mother screaming at him because he was late, his older brother pushing him around and saying “dad is gonna punish you tonight”. He knew what that meant. Nevertheless, he went to his room and proceeded to do his homework…but as the day grew long and the sky darkened, he could almost hear the book calling to him. Heeding its call, he removed it from his backpack and set it on the bed, the symbol was glowing with an eerie light. Not knowing what else to do, he touched the red symbol.

With some form of sentience, the book gripped onto him with its power. The energy surged through his body, the pain was tremendous but with it came some kind of relief. As the book let go of him, the boy felt rejuvenated and empowered. Looking in the mirror, he could see the tome’s symbol engraved on his forehead. Flipping through the book, he could now understand what was written inside. He could understand that the book had been looking for one such as him, one with the power to awaken it, one with true nightmares. This book had revealed to him its secrets, and in turn he found he could do what he always wished…he could bring his nightmares to life. But no longer would they torment him, it was time for others to pay for what they had done. A voice from the book began whispering to him, “My lord, I am yours to command. We have much work to do.” The book told him that he must unleash his nightmares upon the world…and the boy was glad to do so. In the silence, he could hear a car drive up to the house, and the car door open and close. Then the front door…his father was home. He knew it was a matter of time before his father came in to “teach him a lesson”, so he would be ready. He listened intently, at the same time concentrating on his dark visions. At last he heard heavy steps heading toward his door, each step full of malicious intent. It was time to make his nightmares a reality. He is Eric Darcstrom, he is the Nightmare Scion. It is his turn now.

EDIT
-------
Nightmares: here are some examples of summonable creatures

Kytarac- a creature covered with tons of barbed and serrated chains that he controls like tentacles. He would be able to launch his chains out to strike surrounding enemies, reel them in, or simply impale them. Advanced moves would include piercing a chain through multiple enemies in a row or lifting an enemy in the air and ripping him to pieces with the chains

Avazoc- one of the most powerful nightmares. He is a large black construct, somewhat mechanical in appearance, with six skeletal arms and an enormous scythe. Twisted shards of metal cover his body and he may rotate his arms very fast to move the scythe like a helicopter blade. He is impervious to most damage, but somewhat slow. He would have moves like leaping onto enemies and crushing them or spinning around like a whirlwind decapitating all victims.

Mimir- a faceless shadowy figure that can assume the form of any other creature. In essence a doppleganger or shapeshifter. He would be able to morph his body into weaponry: turn his fingers into 3 foot blades and extend his arm like a whip, letting him strike at enemies from long range. Some advanced abilities would be melding himself into an enemy’s body and exploding outward, or becoming a duplicate of any enemy.

Zakhara- a female nightmare, she has four hideous arms and a great scorpion tail. She would be able to expel acid that disintegrates enemies, and her tail would be very deadly in combat. She would be able to consume enemies and replenish her own health.

Athtalot- a winged monstrosity, part human/part scrap metal monster. His wings would be enormous collections of metal sheets, blades, spikes, you name it, and he would be very gruesome looking, metal rods and fragments jutting out of him. He would have air-based moves and lunge down to snatch enemies and rip them apart in the air.

Baalroc- a beast composed of black smoke, crimson flames, and molten bones that resemble those of a great reptile. Two great stones are chained to his arms that he swings as weapons, and he possess a huge tail. He generates so much heat he would be able to reduce foes to ashes. He could also immolate his body and charge through groups of enemies, incinerating them all. Of course he’d breathe fire too

Vidicus- a fearsome death knight character. He would wield a gigantic great sword charged with negative energy (sparks of black electricity) and wear black armor covered with large inhuman bones. His helmet would look like a great dragon skull with a red central eye in the middle. His powers would include firing streams of dark lightning, absorbing the life force of enemies, stabbing his sword into the ground and calling down hellfire, etc.

Necrocanthus- a undead looking zombie-like nightmare. He dresses in ragged ancient robes and is surrounded by insects. His powers would include conjuring pestilence and insect swarms, being able to flay enemies or boil their blood, and resurrecting fallen enemies as zombies.

Nightmare Scion- Eric’s nightmare form. It would take the shape of a demonic being of darkness, complete with bat-like wings, curving horns, and hellish armor. He would wield the Abyssal, a sword composed of the dark thoughts that lay in the corner of everyone's mind.

Those are only some of the nightmares at his disposal. I bet you’re wondering how humans could contend with such things? The answer is they can’t, not at first. Eventually you’d be facing police squads, the military, and later on Vatican knights and others who are convinced you are some sort of antichrist. Some may even exhibit spiritual powers that they will use to combat you, others may be sorcerers out to claim the book or prevent you from usurping their power. Later on the book will turn on you and send its own nightmares against you. Eric would at last destroy the book and have an important choice to make. He can either undo what he has done and restore all destruction the book has wrought, or he can become the Lord of Nightmares and rule the dreams of everyone. It is a tempting offer, but not one to be taken lightly.

Weekly Chart Update

Out of the four Watertest Production games, Redemption claimed the top spot. Two RPG's, movie based The Dream Within and Amerigo's semi-revolutionary Dementia: Lethal Silver round out the top 3. Bush War, the only Real Time Combat game on the charts comes in at 4th, and is the last game in the 20 million catagory. The nostalgic yet disturbing Gangsta Mario sells mainly due to its strange mix of Action, RPG, and First Person Shooter elements, something that the online Castles In the Sky and Dungeons in Hell Expansion Pack fails to accomplish.

Reaction from the developers at Continental Gaming:

"When we heard that our title had made it into the SB Top 4, our reaction was, eh.. erm. The best way to describe it, I think, would be a loud, collective 'Holy Crap!' That was very unexpected, especially when we don't even have much of a market in our home country. But anyway, we'd just like to say thanks to the gamers who've made this companies success possible. We're especially pleased with the positive response to the multiplayer version."

Game Title: Demon Horde
Game Genre: RPG/simulation/strategy
Platform: PC
Game Summary: This game is a very peculiar one in its structure. It's not a normal RPG, nor a simulation. It's Republic on steroids while smoking crack. You forge your own demon and (in 3rd person) traverse dungeons, tunnels and sprawling hellish landscapes: occasionally battling do-gooders and enemies. But thats not the game. Thats what it should be, but its not. You must rise up the echelons of demons and gain following demons. This is done through the most warped intrigue you've ever seen. The whole social interactions with the demons are so brutally strange, that at times you wonder what's going on. You may decapitate a demon that attacks you on the corner of a tunnel, and its neck smaller demons may leap out and serve you. Eventually when you lead a large enough faction, the whole game turns into a turn based strategy game, when you affirm your territory through battles and conquer other demon factions to become the Supreme Ruler of the Abyss. Or you could try to find the seven keys, littered about the realm taht will open a gate into the world above. Then you wreak havoc on Earth, killing civilains and engaging in a war with modern weaponry. The progression of this game is seemingly mind boggling. At first it starts out as a third person adventure/action game, then you get a small party of followers, and soon it transforms into a turn based strategy games in which battles are fought in real time with massive armies (much like Total War series). AT first your in the twisted lands of the abyss and then you might suddenly be releasing strange armies onto the modern world and may even get nuked! Very strange game.
Characters: Some of the species you could be or recruit:
Balagazt: Large burly demon, greyish in color. Has three legs, winding tentacles all over its body and seven eyes positioned all aroun its body. This demon prefers the company of Haragats and enjoys eating aventurers intestines. It is considered one of the more stupid demons and does not enjoy a high standing. To rise to the top it will need to prove itself the brute power. However it can evoke fire in many different ways. Immune to cold.

Sunthario: Tiny demonoid, looks semi-human. Has two heads, which usually disagree with one and other. It's red in color and looks like a reptillian ape with two long leathery tails. This demon prefers the company of Perdais and enjoys baths in molten lava. This demon is usually unnoticeable and enjoys a reputation of sneakiness and almost invisibility. This little creature has no special power, but a power that is quite deadly and very graphic. This little creature crawls into large enough orifices in its enemies and begins eating it from the inside out. However since it can not consume much, because of its size, most of what it injests is immidiatly excreted out of the back of its head which has a small hole. Therefore it retains very little, meat in its stomach. immune to fire.

Perdais: This small creature usually has the shape of a feline--a housecat--only leathery and green. It looks fairly innocent, but thats the point. Any creature, even if is an enemy will never attack this creature but instead will come out to inspect it. However, this demon may choose to vomit, and its vomit is deadly. It contains a highly concentrated form of carbonic acid (1,000 Molarity... Yes you've read that right). The problem is, this acid keeps burning a hole in whatever it touches for quite a long while, and at times may burn a hole inm the ground so deep (not so much on the surface of the Earth, but more in the Abyss) that it will reach magma, which would begin to flow out and cause a small volcanic lava flow in the area. Highly devastating. Unfortunately, this demon must retreat from the scene with great speed, for it has no resistances and can easily be killed.

Haragats: This strange demon looks like an Earthworm, except its 10 feet in length and 1 foot in width. This strange demon has a distinct purple color. It is also a parasite. It often (partially) inserts itself into another creature and feed off it for several days. This demon enjoys sleeping. Although dubbed a brainless demon, it is feared by all demons, since it can not be killed by tooth or claw. The surface of it has a temperature of 500 degrees Celcius.

Banju: The demon noble. This strange demon is a shapeshifter, which often takes the shape of a human. However it must eat the shape's brain to be able to morph into it. Thus it can not shape shit into brainless objects. The true form of this demon is largely unknown. However, it enjoys a popularity that is rare with any other demon. They are known to be ruthless and cunning. They are charismatic to demons and humans alike. The enjoy eating... excessively. They also are picky eaters and often prefer exotic delicacies that differ radically from day to day. They are also cannibals.

Vundu: A strange slug-like demon, that prefers smoking manwa (an underworld opiate) lying around all day. They are inactive, most of the time and sleep often. They are however powerful in that in their opiate- fueled delusions they are able to manifest themselves in a specter like form that can not be hurt but can cause harm to anything. The specter varies but is usually an Earthly animal... It can be a giant snake one time... or an angry bear another. However their enemies may find their ture form and slay them there. Since they are virtually defenseless and must make a lair in a secure area.

There are more, but to list more would be excessive.

Cost: $69.99
Developing Company: Can of Boston Baked Beans (first project)

Yes... Indeed...

It's interesting that your game got 2nd place isn't it? What a coincidence!

Don't worry, I got the weirdest rolls for my first movie. Although it wasn't too high it keeps increasing... Even though I'm decreasing it... It's complicated, but it's very weird.

Not many takers on this thread it seems. I think you shoulda updated when you got an even number like 10... instead of having some blank spots left over.

Oh yeah and Watertest, frankly I think your making your games unrealistically long... 290 hours? Frankly thats just unrealistic... And its an action game? You'd have to program it for like 3 centuries to ever finish making it. Then furthermore no one would ever beat it. I mean seriously... thats just kinda... strange...

Game Title: Asteroid League, the tale of a Racer.
Game Genre: Driver/RPG
Platform: Holo-room/PC(depends on which version you buy)
Game Summary: A race through the standard six races of the Asteroid League, gaining points to become the champion and getting a buttload of money.

In the course of the races, you go on various trips through mining colonies, space stations, a Crimmond Heavy Cruiser(NOTE: The map of the cruiser is so wrong it's almost comical), Post-Terraform Mars, Earth and Luna.

In each of these you interact with people and the enviroment in unique ways. Approach and talk to anyone from a cop to a fleet officer to a hooker... almost everyone has something to say, even it it's just a simple 'f*ck off'. Depending on your character choice, you will interact in several ways with the other two you didn't choose. This includes a... private(and graphic) encounter between Raya and Reddick, that goes bad for Raya(see below for Char info) and slapping or punching the rich snob a few times.

The action is the races though, taking you through the heart of the asteroid belt, you do six sections of the belt, finishing the season where you began. The controls are easy to master and each ship is different, requiring a different control strategy. Ships move in three dimensions, giving numerous options to navigating the belt. Go between the two asteroids and thread the needle or dive and slip under them? It's up to you.

The intelligent AI will try and ram you into asteroids, short out your shields with engine wash, distract you with extremely vulgar cursing, block you effectivly, and pass at any oppertunity.

Characters: A choice of three characters is availible:

Raya Hayami, head pilot of Pathfinder Racing INC
Winner of five of the team's twelve championships, she is considered one of the best pilots out there, but also the most reckless, destroying her ships regularly in the course of a race.

Reddick Tavo, mercenary out to win some big money
Wanted on three planets for murder and assasianation, he flys one the most illeagal craft in the system, but also the least maintained, as he has little mechanical skill, relaying on the 'kick it hard enough and it'll work' method.

Alexander Hawkmoore, a rich snob that likes fast ships and women
Insists on having the most flashy and expensive looking ship in the Sol system, he is a moderatly good pilot and thinks himself a ladysman. He ends up coming off like an ass though. He wonders why he's single at 35....

There are also several NPC racers who you never get to see much of, have little or no backstory, but you do hear them yell and scream at you during the race.

Budget: 500,000,000
Cost: 35 USD

Game Title: Petty Theft Purse: Rice City
Game Genre: Adventure/Action/Shooter
Platform: PC & Console
Game Summary: Ever wanted to be the bad guy? In this game, travel around Rice City doing missions in the underbelly of society.
Fan Review:[code:1:8204edca16]Petty Theft Purse Rice City has to be one of the greatest games ever. I was probably one of the only people who did not play the game when it was released. But when I did, I couldn't stop playing at all. I ended up buying the game and got to play the missions. The game has great graphics, sound, and it is just fun to play!

In PTP Rice City, there are many missions to complete, with extra side missions. During the game, you control a character named Tommy Vercetti, a man who is supposed to bring a load of money to a gang. When he gets dropped off in Rice City, he loses everything, including the money. He doesn't even have a car. You have to work your way to the top by completing missions for different people all around the city.

I'd have to say that the gameplay is very easy. It is easy to control your character, his car, and the weapon, especially since they have the auto-aim (press R1 to aim). During gameplay, you can basically do whatever you want to. One thing that is unrealistic is that the cops don't chase you when you drive fast or run red lights. But that's ok because that makes the game so much more fun. Many people love to drive fast in the games, so that helps. Here are the controls for the game:

X-Drive vehicle/sprint while on foot
Square-Jump/Reverse car
Triangle-Get in car
Circle-Shoot weapon
R1-Aim
R2-Cycle through weapons
L1-Change Radio Stations
L2-Cycle through weapons

The graphics are no different from those in PTP 3. The cars look as real as its real life model. The weapons look real and accurate. You can enjoy looking at the beach, nice buildings, the sunset, and the moon. There are more people in the game too. You can see people on roller skates, or joggers. You can also see older men and women, or young ladies, and tough guys. There are always gangs hanging out in a circle on most streets. Be sure not to mess with them.

PTP Rice City's sound is excellent. On the radio, you can enjoy rockin or poppin 80's music. There are also hilarious talk radio stations. Your car also has a horn that you can use when you want to get moving. Police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances have sirens that you can use if you want other cars to get out of your way. Your character, Tommy Vercetti, talks now, unlike Petty Theft Purse 3's mute, unnamed character. Sound effects aren't really that different from PTP 3. When you hear a car explode or guns shoot, they sound pretty much the same as PTP 3.

The vehicles in this game range from sports cars, to moving vans, to motorcylces, boats, and helicopters. You cold also use a tank that shoots missiles and bombs. The sports cars are the models of Lamborghini's, Ferraris, and more. The normal cars can be the models of Volkswagens, Toyotas, and some others. The boats ride pretty fast, and so doest the helicopter. The tank usually is slow, but very powerful. If you drive a tank into a car, the car will explode. Most trucks are powerful enough to knock a car off the road. Motorcycles are fun to ride, but if you crash, you fall off. In each car, you can do a drive-by shooting. My favorite cars are the sports cars.

I would recommend this game for people who like action/adventure games, and ones who love driving. I would not recommend this game for any child under the age of 16.

My final rating of PTP Rice City would be that it is a great, action packed game. I would rate it a 10 on a scale of 1-10.
