Briarsfield Announces Independence!
Today James Delbayte was elected interim President of Shmur, and we are outraged. For those who don't know, Briarsfield is one of Shmur's largest cities and during the anarchy period we did a good job of running ourselves in a civil manner and we became the strongest independent community in the nation. Now this new congress has vetoed our representative's demands for more local government power. This new central government can't take away our powers. We are going to continue running ourselves as we always have. Today we announce our independence from Shmur. Their new government can do whatever they want, but we will not join them. Briarsfield is now an independent nation.
