Today the provisional government elected a nuetral President. He took an oath vowing that he would not side with any faction and he would do his best to preside fairly over the new congress until a new constitution is ratified. James "Crusher" Delbayte was famous before the country fell into anarchy as a pro wrestler, boxer, and mixed martial arts fighter. He retired long ago and lived a rugged life in the mountains with his family before coming back into public life. He now thinks the factions are serious about working together and says that he "feels safe in the cities for the first time in years". He was the leader of his rural mountain community during the period of anarchy, but he has no national leading experience.
