Minola On Moottorisaha looked over the chamber and felt a beginning headache coming over him. Why had the ministry of education picked out him for this mission, this extremely dangerous and hard mission. He remembered what they had told him:

This mission requires only the best of the best. We need a man that is constantly alert and with a mind as sharp as a razor, a man with charm as well as hard as steel, we need you on this, Captain Minola!

Minola sighed, he knew he shouldn't have ran over the secretary's dog. He looked at the people in the class and a shiver went down his spine.

"Good morning Class, I'm mr. Moottorisaha, your teacher. Could you all write down your names on the paper in front of you and put it one the desk."

Moottorisaha sighed and told one of his pupils to remove his finger from his nose for the third time. "Don't do that Carlos! Pay attention! We were talking about kinetic energy here" His estimations were that half his class were certified retards, a third dimwitted and a sixth could really be worked with. He was beginning to sense that it had been a test to weed out the others to create a small workable core of people with real skills. He was assumed to report in names to his superiors by the end of the week. "Samuel! Did you throw that gum at me?!"

OOC: Yes indeed, Seems like the poor Reich nations are a bit afraid to face the stern mr. Moottorisaha.

IC:

After their latest lecture in basic physics Moottorisaha noticed that his pupils seemed to focus on how to use science in military manners. After his last evaluation he had also received several deaththreats, some really inventive ones too. It seemed like they didn't lack imagination but needed some more basic schooling in other things than the holy book. Moottorisaha would remember to fill their next session with the laws of physics and he would also recommend to facialiate the instructions on the tech that were sent from Vegana to other Reich nations.

"Class dismissed, now don't forget your homework for tomorrow. If a fat heathen falls parallell to a thin infidel in vacuum, who will strike the spiked floor first.?"

Mike Hauptman swaggered proudly into the Reich University Gathering on his first day. He walked strangely, not just because of the weight of his ego-- and checkbook-- but because he had just arrived from a lengthy stay in orbit, and his muscles had atrophied some.

Of course, there were ways to rebuild muscle tissues fast, marketed specifically to lazy orbies like him upon their return, but he shunned them. He preferred to feel each day the punishment for his lazy orbital habits. You were supposed to excercise, and he had chosen work more often than strictly healthy.

It was good to feel just how much upkeep being on the Earth required. Just as long as he didn't have to run anywhere.

His classroom (he had to remind himself that, as a "guest lecturer", it strictly speaking, wasn't his) was large, spartan yet comfortable. The uni had been intelligently designed, he saw, though not "intelligently" designed, which didn't surprise him given his job.

"Good morning," Mike announced cheerfully, with a perfect accent. He was only fluent in five languages; really the minimum for a private educational license these days.

About sixty college kids either chimed back, or glanced up with a dull scowl that indicated they had noticed his presence. Hmm.

"As I am certain you all know, you are in Advanced Materials Overview 100. Please, if you are in the wrong place, leave at once. You may address me as Doctor Hauptman, Doctor or just Doc."

Again, the muted, generally resistant response. The Reich kids were here to be diverse in their knowledge because that was valued, but he noted few if any would be interested in the subject. And some would object to him, given his foreigner status.

A year ago, he'd given a lecture at one of the underwater cities-- 10, if he remembered right-- to a classroom of mostly uneducated gamma children. They had given him the same look. Somewhat daft, mostly lazy, potentially disturbed. Then one of them had decided to try to shoot him, and my how fun that had been...

He put those thoughts away. His plans today were to just get a "feel" for advanced materials research. Nothing fancy, nothing too complex, and certainly nothing that the Conglomerate didn't want him to share.

"Very well then, good to know you're all in the right place," he said with a slight smile.

He laid his briefcase on the desk, turned to see the chalkboard behind him.

Chalkboard?

Ah well, quaint, but he could handle this as well. Picking up the dry chunk of chalk waiting for him, he scrawled his name near the top, awkwardly. Then he drew a large bubble, and inside wrote two words.

"Let us begin. Who here can tell me the meaning of these words, Genetic Purity?"

Moottorisaha bit his lower lip. This was the third goathead someone had placed in his head since he started this course for the Reich pupils. He had never experienced anything like it, he also had three accidents with a deadly outcome among the pupils. It seemed as if they slowly were establishing some kind pecking order amongst themselves, and in a quite violent way. Moottorisaha sighed, well he would have to write a note about this to his friends in the Psychological field, they would be mighty interested in this lot. He checked the names on the list again. Damn! one of the casualties ofthe course was a good one. With some luck the brighter one would survive, and live and learn...
