Inside the arach collective lairs and tunnels, filled with poisonous gases and chemicals to supress instinct and individuality, the arach cientific castes moved to and fro, and almost grinned in excitement. An anormal movement filled the tunnels with excitement and almost, one could say, a malevolous joy. The poor human layed in his cage, completely afraid, surrounded by the dead and disfigured bodies of his companions.
The horrible arachs had captured him and his partners and had used them to test all sorts of vaccines and different methods of gene theraphy and engineering.
For the last days the horrific creatures, all of them moving and twinkling their eyes at unison, had tested different vaccines and gene splicing methods on him the other humans. The others couldn't stand the treatment and died, but he didn't. He resisted enough time and the hive mind discovered the vaccine on him.
After finished recording the correct chemical combination and mass-producing the new vaccines, the hive mind decided to 'recicle' the poor man by eating him, as he wasn't useful anymore.

After lots of testing with our biological resources, we are proud to announce the last discovery of our noble social body: The clinical immortality. As you know, the concept of immortality used to have no place in rational sense. Thousands of biologists, doctors and scientists from all the world have proven once and again that immortality is impossible. But our discovery, fruit of years of working, experimenting and thinking of our hive mind, has proved all of them wrong.
Clinical Immortality can exist, thanks to our new immortality vaccine.
This vaccine works by annuling basic plaquette and antigen proceses of the blood and by changing the genetic structure, by stem-cell's injections and gene splicing techniques. With this new technology, we can stop our bodies growing old and our cell's deteriorating - we can stop the mark of time in our bodies.
Of course, this vaccine only helps to stop natural death, but it can't stop death for other causes - If you shoot at our individual arachs or if they get injured, they will still die.
Anyway, we are vaccinating our higher castes for the moment, but we plan to vaccunate the entire arach hive in the future.
With these breakthoughs we are showing the world that collectivism is the best and most efficient social system, better than the flawful individuality your pityful social bodies seem to enjoy so much.
With every progress, the arach social body enlightens itself more and more, coming closer to prime collectivism and to evolution into perfect beings. With every rise of the sun, we are closer to become perfect beings, immortal, pure, rational; We shall become omnipotent and omnipresent, we shall adquire trascendence and pure synchronization, our bodies will finally be one.

As stated before, this means we don't die of old age, but we can still die from other causes.

((OOC: Yes, but I find it highly unlikely that you could "vaccinate" against old age. I know NationStates is anything but realistic, but there are limits. For example, you could not make changes "on the quantum level" (do you even know what that means?) using chemicals. Chemicals are molecules, chemical reactions cannot cause hanges on any level smaller than the molecular.
If you caimed that youwere using gene therapy, genetic engineering, or periodical stem-cell injections, it would be a lot more believable - believable enough that most people'd accept it. However, claiming that you're changing the structure of the atoms in your cells using chemicals is, frankly, laughable.))

Just re-read my words and realised that I was quite a bit more bitthan I intended. It was meant as constructive criticism, but came out with rather too little "constructive" and quite a bit too much "criticism". Sorry about that.
