INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
It is to the sorrow of the Holy Star Empire of Istar that I announce the death of Kingpriest Velorn X who felt to an assassin three hours ago inside the Imperial Manse itself, the assassin was none other than Lord Ogiavon lith Udar of Haad during a meeting with the elvish Kingpriest. It is believed that the assassination was planned by the treacherous Lord (who was later learned to be a worshiper of Zeboim, Dark Goddess of the Sea) for unknown reason.
The Kingpriest's injuries (he was stabbed several times with a knife during the private meeting/dinner) were severe and numerous and despite treatment died an hour later, he did manage to declare an heir to the throne. The priest who was treating him, Brother Jendle, Head of the Sons of Healing in the Great Temple, was given the Tiara of Power by the Kingpriest and made heir, it was the last thing the Kingpriest did before falling into a deep sleep and later died of his injuries.
The Coronation of the new Kingpriest wil occur after three days of mourning of the death of our nations first Elvish Kingpriest. Oh Children of Istar, Mourn the Death of the Kingpriest, our Ruler and Protector of the Holy Church.
