What would the government in "1984" be labeled as

Because I dont think there are any proper classifications in nationstates for it.

It had allsorts of idea's in it.

There are elements of Nazism, Fascism, Stalinism with a VERY strong sense of Nationalism.

Economically it's left wing (socialist) due to the redisrtribution of good (albeit unfairly).

In regards to Civil Rights its Utilitarianist, whereby people have the same rights, which is none.

Government wise it's VERY authoritarianistic with the idea that the state knows best.

Basically its a very very corrupt "left-wing" government, with right-wing trimmings.

Left-wing + No personal freedoms + No political freedoms = Psychotic Dictatorship. And if you read Part III, there are a few comments about how pathetic the human race is.

and since Oceania only has 300 million people, they wouldnt be able to change it
