As if out of nowhere, a legion of warriors appeared in The Underground City. Defenses were sent to stop them, but it was too late. The mysterious figures marched through the nation, armed with large guns and clad in shining armour. No daemon was spared, the soldiers blasted all they saw with their high-powered lasers. The magickal barrier surrounding The Underground City was lowered to let all daemons flee - this was serious. Hopelessly, daemons, vampires and monsters alike ran, trying to escape their fate, but none were spared.
The soldiers marched into the human slave camps, burning their masters alive, and freeing the enslaved. They marched into the houses of vampires, instantly turning them to dust with their weapons. They marched into the military barracks and slaughtered the daemonic hordes. In the magickal stores, the artifacts were destroyed. In the biochemical labs, the experiments ended violently. In the daemonic library, the books were burnt to cinders. Soon little trace remained of the original occupants of The Underground City remained.

"The Underground City is now under the control of Holy Order of The Unconquerable Light. No longer shall this place be the home to unholiness. We were unable to find the daemonic dictator and his brother, but rest assured, we will, and they will be destroyed."

"And what of the YlimNeicna, my emperor" asked an aide.

"Speak not their name! That is daemonic tounge! The dictator and his brother will be found and slaughtered along with the other survivors."

The emperor and his brother can always find safe haven withing what is left of Yurka, we welcome them with open arms after the genocide of their people.

OOC: The daemonic dictator is on the run, and his brother is in another place, unaware of what has happened here.

The kingdom of Yurka sends out its top 10 bounty hunters to locate the two and bring them to the new Yurka settlement where they will be safe. They are the best Yurka has to offer, and we are confident that they can get to them before Michael Trent's men can find them. 8)

Lord Arithon extends a welcome to the daemonic dictator and his brother to seek refuge within the world of Arithon if they wish.

It is safe from any such holy invasion.

Dorusceronis, former dictator was running across a barren wasteland.

"How could this have happened?" he thought. "The city was secure, Niogoul Maeromirpli was surrounded by a barrier that can only be opened by powerful daemonic magicks."

One of his necromantic warlords came running up beside him.

"Legnerihes! You escaped the wrath of those men?"

"Aye, but, alas, Thintaedkran was slain."

Dorusceronis looked at him.

"Slain?!"

"Verily. My leader, my friend, my sworn brother, slain at their hands. Sixty-two centuries I fought at his side, and now he is gone. Killed by an enchanted sword. Right through the back it was. Face to face, the enemy would not have stood a chance. I know, for I slew him easily in my vengeful fury."

"We must find out how this happened, and who those invaders are!"

OOC: The dictator's brother Atanracnad is currently involved in a CO-RP, and will not be involved in these matters for the time being.

Jingcrondolia's (admittedly rather small) army mobilized. "Jingcrondolia has interests in The Underground City. We do not wish to see it taken over...and the nation can still be rebuilt! Daemonic nations of the world, to arms!"

We are surprised by this development, but a successful crusade against the forces of darkness in The Underground City is welcome news.

"All we had worked for...all we had built in six millenia...destroyed in a day!"

Dorusceronis sat on a rock in an unknown desert, muttering to himself.

"My lord", said Legnerihes. "What of Atanracnad, and the boy?"

Dorusceronis looked up. "Yes...he will be expecting to take the boy back to The Underground City...but with the barrier down, he will know it is not safe. He will not return."

"If this psionic boy is really as the prophecies tell, then maybe he is what we need to reclaim our nation?"

"Psionic or not, a sixteen-year-old boy can only wield so much power. I doubt he could make the difference we need - our people are slain, our armies destroyed."

"A replacement army can be created. I am, after all a necromancer. Zombies may not make soldiers as good as daemons, but they are better than nothing. I will use my magicks to try and contact the other warlords."

"Even with a legion of zombies, it will not be enough. We need wits and cunning if we are to reclaim our lost land, not mere numbers."
