The plot by the Ministers of Religion and Defense to seize power didn't go as planned. The President of the Taliban Bufar has escaped and the fascist and bloodthirsty actions of Religion Minister FruitNut and Defense Minister Bin Laden V have back fired. Thousands take to the street to demand Bufar's return to power but all are killed by the religious police and Taliban army.
But some in the army, who didn't agree with attacks recently carried out against South Pacific or WHittier or the other nations, have proclaimed support for the refugee president Bufar.
The scene is chaotic as Taliban fights Taliban in the streets and fields of Taliban. As two sides claim to speak for Taliban.

Bufar is hoping the world realizes it wasn't him who ordered the terror attacks.

President Fubar: We appeal to the outside help for help. We are being attacked by religious wackos in our own country. They have seized the government and are killing our people and committing terrorist attacks.
They have begun attacking aid workers and we can't stop them.
We appeal for help from wherever we can get it.

This is one of those situations where I march in and kill *everyone*.

The Federation of Glorious Humanity reiterates that we are appalled by the actions of these so-called "religious warriors". We support President Bufar in this conflict, and are sending five thousand soldiers, fifty tanks and IFVs, and one hundred aircraft to the conflict on the side of Bufar.

Bit much, ya? And kind of a stupid thing to do in the first place, isn't it?

OOC: No one ever accused religious fanatics of being smart. I don't see any problem with it. Many terrorist groups do things like this. A thousand bombers could be sent, there's just no guarantee they'd all get to unleash their explosives. And of course in the process of sending all these suicide bombers the militants are depleting their core forces, the people who are really loyal to them. In other words, the shooting part of this war is going to be very interesting. :twisted:

Right, lads, down to business. To help you keep the peace, and retake your country, we're sending you five billion Evility Dollars (Totally equal in value to USD's), as well as twenty thousand men from Sigma Legion, our Urban combat legion. They will be sent in via WASP lander, and will be accompanied by 200 GT-1 tanks, as well as several bombers to help take out some bigger targets. We wish you luck in restoring your trouble country. The South Pacific has declared war on the Bin Laden faction.
Bombers are on the way to begin bombing targets inside Taliban in retaliation for the recent attacks on the South Pacific. We are also sending the marines and the infantry. The Navy has left port and is now headed for Taliban, loaded with Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Blackhawk transport helicopters circled overhead as the Glorious Humanity advance force, two thousand soldiers and ten IFVs, set up a firebase. The construction was routine, and accomplished within a few hours. Metal poles were driven into the ground, and two lines of barbed wire was strung between them, then electrified wire was strung along the top. Since the poles were metal, when the generator for the electrified wire was activated the entire fence became very dangerous to touch. The fencing formed a six-pointed star. Inside the star several collapsable shelters were put up, made of plaster panels, and reinforced with sandbags. .50 caliber machine guns were installed in each of these quickly constructed buildings, making a staggered pattern of machine guns nests all through the star that could support each other. Each arm of the star could receive fire support from at least two others, and anything between the arms of the stars was basically dead.

The soldiers pitched their tents near the center of the camp, and the IFVs lined up near the back. A system of laser tripwires was set up to prevent anybody from sneaking in even if they did manage to circumvent the electrified fence, and guards were posted in all of the machine gun nests. In the center of the camp a collapsable steel tower one hundred feet high was assembled, and a man with high-powered binoculars was posted in it.

Their defenses ready, the advance forces settled in to wait for the rest of the troops.

OOC: with a real military, only one or two if it wants to win. But with terrorists, they don't care about military victory, only killing other people.

1 Million Roanian soldiers are being sent from Roanian bases in TOC to Taliban. 75 Legions, and 1 whole fleet.

Fubar and his men approach but suddenly drop to the ground as gun fire erupts and several of his men are hit.
The Taliban factions loyal to Bin Laden light up the sight with machinegun fire and antiairmissiles.
Bin Laden loyalists run out and grab Fubar to take him back to Kandahar to be executed for disloyalty to Islam and Sharia.
They attack the SP force with fire, and artillery and antiair rounds.

Three of the blackhawks are destroyed by enemy fire as 12 soldiers go down, hit by enemy fire.
It was an ambush. Back to the copters.
Dragging the dead and wounded South Pacific troops rush back to the aircraft and evacuate the site.
Fubar was on his own.

Fubar is dragged back to Kandahar to face justice of Sharia.
His men are executed in route.
Then the government has him brought into a room where his family is being held.
There is he is beaten and forced to watch the Defense Ministry ordered rape and torture of his wife and children.
Religious Affairs Minister Fruitbar walks in the room and on his orders, they are executed on the spot because of the Fubar's disloyalty to Islam.
Fruitbar: You are next, but your execution will be public, as a warning to all who would betray the Islamic faith.
