Channel 21 News - Kevloz District Hate Riots in Elvan Community
The ten o'clock news with Katie Goldferne and Michael North
Katie: Wecome viewers to a ten o'clock news special covering the recent events in Kevloz District in Gortek city with me, Katie Goldferne...
Michael: And me Michael North. Earlier today at the national time of 6:00pm riots took place around the Elvan community in the Kevloz District in Gortek city as disgruntled men and women took to the streets in anger with the elvan population, viewing them as secular and arrogant.
Katie: The Peacekeepers were relucant to get involved at first, viewing the riot as a simple protest that would die down in time, however the "protest" slowly grew in strength and momentum and then was released on a musicans showp on Pedor Road.
Michael: Llythlos Moongazer, a 375yr old elvan musician was set upon by the small mob that had accumulated outside and was severly injured, it was said that the crowds made it hard to get access to his shop but at this point the Peacekeepers thought that enough was enough and came in with their fully automated weapons demanding that everyone disperce lay down any weapons they are holding.
Katie: Afterward, few people were arrested on suspicion that they fueled the riot. Trial begins next week on Tuesday.
Michael: These events follow other such incidents which include the destruction of elvan shop windows and xenophobic graffiti. However, all incidents are being condemned by the government and investigations are taking place...

OOC: I would of wrote more, but I'm surround by distractions at the moment so it's not too easy... needless to say, the feelings in some comunities towards elves are much like that of anti-semitism that happened before hilter in germany... not that I wish to do something like what hilter did, it's just that elves aquire alot of money over time (with their long life span) and yet they are seen to do very little for it...
