Western Navascuez

Over the past couple days, I've started an RP involving a relatively large nation, Christiania, and her colony Navascuez (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=98090). I've been wondering what's the most interesting way to end this situation. I want to have Navascuez eventually become independent, but the question is how, and I'll leave that up to you.
diplomacy is hard to do, thus making it funner to RP
if you go the diplomatic route contact me and the I'll have the government of Tappee apply pressure on your behalf. War should be the last resort

I'm sure at least one of the candidates would want to help Navascuez, and would gladly do so in return for their own support...
Well Emperor Mishimi has been known to fund Revulotions and send divison worths of advisers to surport revolutions to endear them later then theres the loans and trade later with an indepentant and greatiful state.
