The Teritoran branch of the Most Holy Order of St. Adius, one of the orders within the Catholic Church decatated to the hunting and exterimenation of the undead, the dead who preyed upon the living was having its semi secret annual meeting at a Isolated monastary on an rocky Island off the coast north coast of Teritora. While they tried to keep the meeting location as secret, some word of the meeting slipped out unknown to them, information that could dangerious with so many of the order in one place...

OOC:Just for you vampire Rpers. A chance to get a little revenge on the vampire hunters.

OOC: What does it entitle, besides being a vampire, to be at this meeting? Are they cordally invited or it is just on a word basis? I might have a character for this.

OOC:Its a meeting of an church order that hunts vampires and other undead and while they tried to keep it a secret along with the location of the meeting word got out. And since there people who RP vampires, its their chance to strike at group of vampire hunters. Vampire hunters who since they think their meeting is secret they are not expecting an attack and its an Isolated monstary on a rocky Island so the vampire hunters are isolated as well and not to many places to hide and nowhere to escape to unless one wants to throw themselves into the ocean, into dangerious waters.

OOC: Oops read it wrong. I see now. Vampires hear of them trying to hunt the vampires. Therefore, vampires want to attack them first. I still can come into this. Do you want a group of vampires to come? That would be a better defense then single players.

On the Island of Terivori ranking members of the Teritoran branch of the Most Holy Order of St. Adius began to arrive from all over Teritora. The island itself wasn't impressive, it was windswept rocky island honeycombed with many caves and few trees. The only thing on the island beside the docks was an ancient massive stone monastery; it was an extremely isolated and foreboding place. Most of the arrivals were unarmed or only slightly armed, after all what vampire would dare go upon holy ground into a monastery of vampire hunters. It was unthinkable and considered imposable. By dusk most of the Order arrived at the monastery and the meeting began as the dark clouds that had hanging over the island all day let lose a downpour like the tears of heaven raining down upon the earth.

Approaching the coast of the Island of Terivori, a helecopter carrying a delegation of officials from Foolish Pesants. The helecopter itself didn't look like it should be able to fly, especially in these winds. As it draws closer large words are visable on the side stating;

Eugine's Airborne Rental

Also noticable is a large ammount of effort to patch holes on the actual craft, places where holes mean crashes. With a uncerimonious(sp) landing, a small delegation of troops exits the shoddy junk bucket;

The first noticable are the actual troopers, each one over 6ft and fully armed with body armour and a large, extremely bulky rifles. Behind them is a somewhat smaller trooper in a long coat and a commisar style hat, seemingly unarmed.

"I TOLD you we should have petitioned for an "Actual" transport, not this junk!"

"Were here ain't we? Anyhow stop complaining", stated the Commisaresque induvidual

"Why ARE we here anyway?"

"Well, with all the Vampire news and activity, we cannot afford to be ignorant on this matter"

Gesturing the conversation was over, the Commisar led the group towards the monistary

Without a sound, a band of ten vampires drops gracefully onto the Island of Terivori, their ability to land softly eliminating the need for parachutes.

The vampires were clad in jet black outfits covering their entire bodies - they did not want their pale skin to show up against the dark night.
The each had a light sabre-like sword attached to their belts.

The leader was a muscular vampire with long black hair. He whispered to the others in a voice too quiet for humans to hear.

"Here they are. Now is our chance to teach these human monks once and for all that genocide against vampires will not be tolerated."

OOC: Whoa! Can we get some physics in here? I mean, vampires are tough and they (like humans) could know how to tumble and reduce the damage landing from height causes.

First question, what dropped them? Don't get me wrong, the idea is cool enough but you haven't said anything about how they are falling and out of what... for all we know they have fallen out of the heavens...

Vampires are not immune to fall damage, they may be able to soak it better but they will have broken bones for hours... and thats assuming it wasn't too high... too high would be something like say... I don't know, parachuting alititude (sp) in which case they would be pancakes... or at least pancakes in torpor... which I would find funny...

"Hey guys!"

"Yeah boss?"

"How long do you think it will take to regenerate our entire skeletons from this puddle we have become?"

"Couple years?"

"Do you think they will still be in their meeting by then?"

"Maybe..."

Come on, people... it doesn't take much...

Hidden in their HQ, a underground fort near the Border of Emina, the group known as HORN(Killers Of Risky Non-humans) recieves a unmarked letter detailing the "secret meeting" held by the Vampire Hunters. "Interesting," remarks HORN leader Tony "Bloodbath"Pillabuster, a mass murderer of many "unpure" people before deciding Non-humans were the real threat. "These people are just a bunch of holy fools thinking they can take on a whole race of Satanistic beings. They must be ignorant and thus needing our assistance." He turned and face his band of troops. "Arm yourselves with non-lethal weapons, my friends. We must go to a rocky island off the coast north coast of Teritora. There, we must capture and bring back the stupid ones, and train them our own special way, as a member of HORN!" The crowd gave a great cheer similar to that of a child given candy. Then, they hurried off to a stolen Eminan cargo plane, and set off to capture some vampire hunters.

As the delegation approached the monks, the Commisar pulled out a tattered piece of paper, and presented it to the monks.

"Hey there, were here for that Vampire meeting...? Yes, yes, I'm sure your wondering how were knew about this, weeel we got this from a messenger. I's all above board, and everthing."

Before giving the monks chance to check the documents, the small party made it's way out of the cold into the monastary.

"You reckon they know someone published the information as a Spamutizement?"

"I for one ain't gonna tell them..."

"Probably just a recipient who got over zealous..."

With that they made their way further into the building, with much greater speed......

OOC: The vampires have special abilities. I am basing their landing ability on Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain, in which Kain always floats down slowly, no matter how high he has jumped from. Less velocity means less impact. There's your physics.

There was nearly thousand members of the order at the monastery mostly senior members who had been in the order for years here to repisent their chapter of the Teritoran Branch of their ancient Order, the rest of the monks were caretakers and pernment residents of the monastery, mainly hunters who had survived to a ripe old age in a dangerious field and where to old to that service to God. All nearly the monk were in a large chamber where they held their meetings, a few monks in the hall pointed out the direction of the meeting to the delegation.

The Stolen Cargo Plane was outfitted with a bunch of other stolen technolgy, including rocket launchers and anti-radar gear. HORN was able to avoid radar and other crafts and soon spotted the Island. Deploying the aquatic landing gear, they landed and slowly floated towards the island, retracting the gear as they deployed the land-travel gear and put it to a stop. "Ok, my friends, arm yourselves only with knockout grenades and tranculizers. We don't want to kill out future allies. However, I will be armed with enough weapons to fight off any of these people who fights back. Suddenly, 10 black figures dropped down from the sky. Tony eyes narrowed. "MEN, GRAB THE GARLIC RIFLES AND THE HOLY WATER ROCKETS. WE GOT SCUM!" he yelled, removing his likely pistol from the wall. The pistol fired silver bullets covered in holy water, and could kill anything that could die of a bullet, plus werewolves and vampires. "Lets go gather some fools, and kill some scum!" declared Tony, as he and his gang rushed out.

Suddenly, men began falling from HORN's battle squad. A man known only as Dragon, stepped forward. "I saw we burn this whole place down. The boss will be able to get out, but those damn vampires out of this place." The Monks were showing how good shots they were as they continued to rain crossbow bolts down, they knew that stone didn't burn very well and it would take them hours to even surround the monastery with fire... expecally as it was pouring down rain. Inside The Charging mad man was about to find that the monks were very good with their chosen weapons and that staffs and swords had a much better reach than a dagger as they attacked him.

"Who said I was going to burn the stone to kill them?" he said, lighting the gas on fire. "That should hold for at least 3 minutes. No one is getting out of there, at least for now." He said rushing to the cargo ship and coming back with a box labeled in some foreign language. Openning it, began throwing members of HORN exposives. "These are remote controlled expolsives. They are quite a bit old, so they shouldn't sink the island, but enough of them should be able to break down the castle." Dragon placed the first expolsive near the wall they were standing by before. "So we're an order of the church who seeks out and drives Vampires away from Tarrican, right?" remarks one man too his comrades, as the three of them huddle over equipment in the small boat at anchor off the coast of a certain small island currently beset by (amoung other things) terrible weather.

"Yup." remarks one man lacadasicly. He'd heard it before and the kid was going to say it again before the night was out.

"So why are we spying on an island half a world away that doesn't contain Vampires, but Vampire Hunters instead!" The man seems aggitated, but witnesses would suspect that that was more to do with having been the man sent out to check on the ropes a few minutes ago... and hence was soaking because of it.

"Well," starts the third man (silent up until now) "the plan is, as I see it, to find out the plans of this stake-happy monks and beat them to the kill, as it were. To do that, y'see, we have to know what they're up to, like."

"But why? Let them buggers do it... why risk men, materials and me getting a cold if some ecclesiastical eunoch is willing to do it for us? And its not like they're going after threats to us." Countered the first. They all knew that the Coven of Defenders was about protecting Tarrican's population, not eradicating all vamp-kind. You know: politely asking them to leave, supplying them with air tickets (often to Endless Regrets, depending on their intelligence) and calling for men with firepower should the heamavore reject these suggestions.

"'s 'cos we're hardcore." Put in the second, confusing both of the others, who supplied an obvious "What?"

"Nobody believe's we're hardcore, y'see. The Hunters, the Slayers... all them big-ass state-funded orders. They looks down on the Coven, if they've even heard of it... and don't get me started on those f*cks from the Ordo Santo Mundi!" While he didn't actually pronounce that asterisk, it was one of those sounds that men learn if they spend too much time near clergymen: definately not 'fuck', yet at the same time almost indestinguishable from it to any but the most discerning ear for words.

"He's got a point." added the third. "Even our own don't respect us... we didn't get a single man near to Roania... Military shut us right out."

"But now we're working for the Office of Military Intelligence at the same time as this hairbrained surveillance?" cried the first man, still aggrieved (and wet). Yet he was forced to concede on that issue in the face of the corused reply of "At least they pay us."
To say that the Coven of Defenders was 'underfunded' would be misleading... mostly because it carried with it the implication that they were funded at all. The Coven was voluntary and heamavores were so scarce in the Devils Desert that the First Amalgamated Church of the Tester wouldn't have spared money for it... even if they themselves had money to spare. Thus their equipment came from working for the military, when they could be sufficiently convinced of the competence of the Coven operatives. And thus three men sat in a fishing boat off a small island off Teritora.

With the conversation ended, they all truned back to their instruments at hand. "Got anything on radio, Mike?" asks the third of the first, supplying the requisite glare as the answer of "Capital FM's not bad."

"Well look," said the first man in defencive. "Bloody monks don't use radio, do they? I mean I miiiight have something that could be a short-range tac-net... but then it could be a particularly high-pitched penguine trapping its bollocks on a rock. And even if it was, we'll never hear it this far out... even if it wernt encrypted."

The second voice chooses to come to Mike's rescue at that point. "I think they're might be something on the shotgun mike, Skip."
Either he was the skipper of the ship or had had the misfortune to have been named 'Skip', the third man turned to the old-timer and asked a simple "What?"

"Sounds like a fight in a chinese noodle shop. All 'Hwa!' and 'Woh-pah!' and such. Its near the door, but fairly low-key...pro'lly just a practice of some kind..."

The vampires from The Underground City were running silently through the halls. The only sound was the occasional muffled scream of a monk, as they gagged him before the slaughter.

In the Altar room the surviving Senior Monks continued their prayer and the vampires still were unable to enter without being struck down by Holy Fire however the rest of the council of Elders were dead. Outside the 10 Monks continued to hold off the attacking mad man, even with the screaming going on inside, they had to hope that the guards inside could deal with it. Inside two monks still roamed the halls with staff, holy water, stakes and blessed swords in hand as they vainly tried to deal with the invaders into the defiled monastery.

After running to a more isolated area, the Trooper pulled up the monk in his free hand to head height.

"Now, how do you get from here to the front of the Monistary?"

The monk looked in shock, maybe from the run, maybe from seeing 3 seagulls and 1 squirrel suffer 'corrective eye surgery', not getting the answer he wanted, the Trooper shook the monk.

"The helecopter we arrived in is still intact"

Pulling a small comms device from his uniform, he proceded to press a button on the side causing the device to emit a mechanical whirring sound.

"They must have assumed it was Derelict and left it alone, so where to?"

"The main land, the city of Castle Dora, the news must be told then the order shall strike back, this will also likely bring the wraith of the government down as well."

"Not what I asked, but, no matter"

The Trooper handed the monk a sidearm from his belt.

"Take this and shoot anything that sees us, oh and hold on, I will have to run my fastest to get out of this one alive..."

Picking the monk up, the Trooper placed the monk over his shoulder (facing backwards) and held on to his legs with his free hand.

"Now the battle is over there.....So that means.....This way!"

With that, the Trooper sprinted of in the direction of the Helicopter with phenomenal speed

As the Trooper raced to the helecopter, no guards or senteries were anywhere close enough to stop the take off now. Bundling the monk into the helecopter the Trooper gave the scene on last survey before bringing the engines online.

"I guess everyone is so busy killing your other monks everyone forgot about this scrapheap", looking at the monk added,

"I'm sure some of them will make it"

Not likely though, he thought.

Without saying another word, the Trooper brought the helecopter up and set a course directly towards the city of Castle Dora.

Slowly the storm died down and morning slowly came as the screams coming from the monastery slowly died and soon the long night was over as the first rays light began to show over the horison and the storm dispated.
