In a press statement today, The Commonwealth of Cowes has announced its intention to move to a new region. In a press statement, Paul Lauder (Cowes Press and Media Chairman) said-
"A vote in the general assembly and in Parliament has determined that Cowes will move from the South Pacific to a new region. Reasons cited include that the South Pacific is simply too large, and Cowes wants allies that can not normally be found in larger regions. Criteria for a new region include-
-Not too large
-A mutual defense plan - especially a committment against terrorism
-Active in the United Nations
-Other democratic socialist states in the region"
Lauder then noted that only the top two are deal-breakers. He asked that all ideas for a new region be directed in telegram form.
