The PrattCo Conglomerate has issued the following communique to all signatory parties and members of the Corporate Coalition and anyone who cared about it:

After many years of hosting the Corporate Coalition Headquarters in New Winchester City, on sovereign Santa Barbarian territory, the Chief Executive Offices of the PrattCo Conglomerate, in collusion with the Board of Directors, have decided to remove itself officially from the entity known as the Corporate Coalition.

It is the decision of the Conglomerate that the Corporate Coalition no longer serves our needs. The CCHQ shall be disbanded, though of course we have no problem if it is reformed. As long as this occurs elsewhere.

All foreign representatives, delegates and other CCHQ personnel and visitors shall be given a period of one week to depart to their place of origin.

Any questions can be redirected to the International Developments Group.

That is all.

Question: why?

ooc: I'm considering the same move, but am still working out how the founder can leave his organization and not look like a total ass.

Generally, we have found the CC to be lacking in fulfilment of its stated goals, and no longer conducive to the furtherence of our own. It is no longer an advantage, and as you well know, cutting away the dead wood is a logical step towards advancing the company.

OOC: It's really a formality, as the CC has already been dead for some time...

OOC: Well, I'd like to keep the CC just "in case" something happens. But I don't have strong feelings on the matter.
