After "reclaiming" some 30 billion schnitzels worth of gold from our people, the High People's Free Minister of Greed and Corruption, William Snappeson has announced plans for a grand military project - The Blade-Walker Squadrons. The Blade-Walkers are enormous pieces of machinery that will be able to run at around 450 Miles Per Hour, by means of two giant blade-like legs. The design is enormously complex, and is still at a fairy early stage, but here is a basic description of the machines: The two blade-legs support two pilot capsules, that are connected by a bridge. The blades are not immobile in themselves, they can swivel, compress by telescopic means and are springed, shock-absorbent and have comprehensive suspension systems. The "backblade" systems are held behind the blades themselves, and contain the giant motors, cogs, wheels and complex engines that will power the blades forward. The blades run by, first pushing off with the main springs, then as the machine lands again, putting in the front blade first into the ground, and then the second lands close to the first, then pushes the first one out, and pushes forward with the springs again. As you can see, it is rather difficult to explain. We would like to show you exactly how this works, but unfortunately, the Ministry of Animation, Scanning and Image Uploading, recently had its budget cut to around three schnitzels per year, so we are unable to do so.
We are looking for additional funds, possible pilots and co-pilots, engineers, weaponry experts, armaments and materials (primarily steel and titanium, but much more besides) from other nations. Payment, will of course, be made appropriately for what is given.
Thank you
People's Free Defence Minister M.Q. Karlstein
