Thank you. I want to keep it to monohulls for now. If there is sufficient interest, we may do muti-hulls.... :D

Second Speaker wishes to convey interest in a multi-hull yacht race but regretfully declines this invitation; perhaps, by the time Daistallia opens registration for a multi-hull race, we shall have successfully adapted our airship construction and navigation skills to the oceans of water. Until then...we shall watch, and observe.

OOC: I've had a long time aversion to multi-hulls. As a kid (when the vast majority of my experience was), I always seemed to get sicker on my dad's Hobie Cat than I did on any other boat. With one exception: the Labor Day Matagorda Island Cruise (can't recall which year - maybe 1982?) where we had a serious storm - only time I ever saw mom seasick in 10 years of sailing!. Also memorable for the damage we took. And motoring back into harbor (under motor power due to the damage). The Inboard stalled in the middle of the bay - center of the Intercostal - with a barge bearing down... Do Not want to repeat that! (Dad radically expanded my vocabulary that day, though!)

My 2nd team comprises of monkeys sailing on a boat weaved out of palm leaves

The Inner Baronies of Fluttergork wishes to sign up for this great event!

We shall be entering a 75-foot catamaran cruiser, named the Quiet Desperation. It has a crew of six.

Re the boats, please read the first post. There will be a size limit (not determined as yet, but probably 60-75 feet) and no cats. Thank you! :)
