Resistance Fighters win Battle of the Iron Bowl
In an attempt to stomp out the remaing resistance in the small town of Auburn, the Tide underestimated the strength, quickness, and determination of the Tigers.
A force of 5,000 men met a force of 2,000 men in Auburn, Alabama. The Tide went into Auburn confident that they would win. But the Tigers used the hit and run tactic used by the Mongols so many years ago, and the Tide were defeated.
The Tigers got the upper-hand early, but a change of tactics turned the tide (no pun intended) in favor of the Tide. But in the end, it was the Tide that were forced to withdraw.
President Mike Shula refused to comment on the humiliating defeat as the Auburn Tigers played their fight song throughout the night.
General Tommy Tuberville, leader of the Auburn resistance forces, makes a statement to the international community.
"Greetings all. I am General Tommy Tuberville, leader of the Auburn Tigers, a band of resistance fighters determined to overthrow the filthy Crimson Tide. Our soldiers are ready and determined to fight to the death. We must let you know the truth about the Crimson Tide's leader Mike Shula. I know Mr. Shula personally, and I can tell you, he is determined to turn our great country of Alabama into a communist country lead by one supreme ruler, himself. You must help us prevent our great country from turning into a haven for communists, terrorists, and other enemies of freedom. We ask for your assistance in bringing down the Crimson Tide!"
It was a very powerful speech that rallied the support of thousands of people. But, President Mike Shula of Alabama had this to say.
"Friends, family, citizens, world. Do not believe these lies this terrorist is uttering. We liberated this great country from dictators and we will not allow our great country to become an evil regime once again. How dare he call me a communist. As of today, I am issuing a draft. All men fit to fight must fight for their country against these enemies of freedom. Long live the Crimson Tide! Roll Tide Roll!"
More powerful words from another outstanding speaker.
We'll bring you the latest developments on the upcoming war with the Tigers at 10.
Have a happy Thanksgiving everybody!
Football is next. So long!

This is one of them times when I wish I had my old nation back...people respected it.

A force of 50,000 soldiers rolls into Auburn prepared to destroy everything in its path. As General Kines rolls his tank into position and prepares to give the order to attack, a missle slams into the tank beside him. Shortly after, a barrage of missiles is fired at the Crimson Tide from the air. 40,000 soldiers out of the 50,000 sent to fight were killed in the attack, and the Crimson Tide lost very valuable and expensive equipment, plus they lost their military commander, General Joe Kines. Surviving soldiers remember seeing this on the side of the attacking F-18s:

The military signa of the Auburn Tigers. President Shula now realizes this war will be longer than expected as he attends his good friend's funeral...

OOC: Blah, turning a school rivalry into a 'war' scenario. Let's also be honest here. Auburn has a much larger engineering program and ROTC program. And basing the whole thing on American Football. I say shut down Auburn and Alabama and give Birmingham a NFL Expansion team and you'd all be happier.
OOC:
It's not football.
Sure it uses two football teams' logo, names, leaders, and such, but its not football.
This is actually war.

Hmm... I don't like capitalists like the Tide. Tigers, take these tanks. And i'll send some officers to give you strategy assist and training.
Thank you, Sebytania.
This is much appreciated. With your help, I believe we can finally overthrow the Tide!
OOC:
2 questions:
1) What type of tank?
2) How many?
