Crimmond Economy declared...

... Just peachy!

The sales of baskets, trout, diamonds, missile systems, plamsa power plant technology, argicultural products, depleted uranium shells, magizines(adult and kid mags, respectively), information technologies and many other imports and exports are bringing hundreds of millions of Crimmars(billions of USD, as the Crimmar trades at about 3.5 to 4 times the USD) into the markets.

While the rest of the world sinks into recession, the Crimmond leadership wishes to assure everyone that we are ok and won't be hurt too bad by this downturn of world markets, thanks to the fact the Crimmond Market is exclusivist and only a few nations are granted trading rights.

OOC: BURN!

OOC:The Latest UN resolution hurt a lot of UN nations economies sending some of them down two or more levels. But Teritora at least wasn't effected, ours is still Frightening.

OOC: What's with all the state of the economy threads lately? The UN resolution messed up peoples nations(as usual) and they are RPing a world(or galactic, in Xanthal's case) recession.

I'm just making fun of them OOC with an IC report on my nation. My nation will now begin the process of buying out bankrupted corporations and expand it's powerbase until it controlls the mostpopulated planet in the galaxy... Earth itself! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

*ahem* Erm.. I... uh... you didn't hear/read that...

They must be big nations with plenty of money to spend if there are only a few??.

We would also note that the Goobergunchian economy is maintaining its pre-passage level of Good, due to our prior support of labor unions.

They must be big nations with plenty of money to spend if there are only a few??.Not really. They are big, yes. But it is based on alliances and trade negotiations mostly, not the size of your wallet.

The Lietuv government wishes to congratulate Crimmond on avoiding the world-wide recession. However, our economy collapsed from Fragile to Basket Case, and we are suffering very badly.

Your mockery and lack of compassion has been noted.

OOC:

I think that stupid resolution is to blame..I voted against it. :?

Congratulations. We've achieved the same result through free trade -- while member nations are shackled by restrictions imposed by outside countries, anti-capitalist countries at that, we, as non-members, are able to produce with greater quality and fewer expenses, and meet the rising demand. Our balance of trade has swung to a healthy surplus, our corporations are expanding, and our unemployment is at the lowest rate in decades. Ironic, that CACE is responsible for a major part in this.
