today in LRR, the economy took a dip.

Although its not too much of a problem, as there is still plenty of asteroids to be harvested and trades to be made, economists are confused as to why. No issue has been before the LRR parliament for a long time.

Is there some kind of global recession?

I would believe so and insofar, my nation has been relatively unaffected...

Its possible that the lastest UN Resolution is to blame for your countries recession provided that you are either a captialistic UN member or rely on trade with captialistic UN nations.
