Dictatorship overthrown in Kaluknukala

25-11-2003, 01:58
The people of Kaluknukala stormed the Imperial Palace in Johnson City today. We arrested the Dictator, John Johnson III, and placed him in a local jail. A few hours later, we forced him to bring down a statue of himself, and then publicly hung him. As leader of the revolution, I have officially changed the name to the United States of Kaluknukala instead of the Democratic Republic of Kaluknukala. I have installed a parliment and declared myself president. I will need to be re-elected in 4 years, however, as will the Parlament. We thank Simsington and Liberal California for sending arms to our patriotic revolutionaries. And our national motto has changed, from, "For the People, Without the People" to "For the People." The UN still catorgarizes us as, "Iron-Fist Socialists", but that soon will change. Johnson City has been renamed to Kaluk City, the name it had before the dictator.

We send our congratulations to the people of Kaluknukala as they breathe freely, without the burden of despotism pressing down upon their shoulders. We formally recognize the legitimacy of the new United States of Kaluknukala, and its new government; Consul Supreme Drakes sends his personal greetings to the President and Parliamentary body.

Should any assistance be required as you establish a free and democratic system, do not hesitate in sending a communique to the Dominion of Eredron.

but we have just airlifted the dictator's family out of harms way. even though we support the Revolution, we oppose the barbarity of what happened to the former dictator.

I want to extend my happiness to you and your people. Some relatives of my people have told us that Kaluknukala is a new place, even in the first few days, and that it's the best it has been in many years. I'm sure that some are mourning the death of john johnson iii, but i must say that it is a relief to the world not to have such blatant despotism. a revolution was in order and we are proud of your resilience.

bonheur damour, as well the region of dominion of doom, will stand behind you.

thank you, best regards,
king bonheur
