Russian Forces wishes to be part of this summit.
Tahar Joblis, in a rare show of solidarity, will also send a delegation to the summit.
The delegation will, in Tahar Joblissan tradition, consist of several persons in order to provide adequate ease and expertise on matters civil, diplomatic, and military. Nominally in charge of the delegation shall be a Dr. Jessica Hertz, provided these terms are acceptable to the host. Secure transport to ANL can be provided readily by Tahar Joblissan air assets as soon as a conference date has been set.

We, the Socialist Commonwealth of Anhierarch, in the interests of solidarity, are interested in sending a delegation to this event.
The members of the delegation will be made known soon, shortly after the conclusion of the latest round of elections in Anhierarch. The delegation, however, should not exceed three.
We are interested in the arrangements and protocol regarding weaponry carried by delegates. Additionally, we would be honored if the host nation would allow a unit of our own special forces assist in the security arrangements.

To Russian Forces:
You are always welcomed to the ANL. We hope to see you there.
To Tahar Joblis:
Those terms are acceptable, please feel free to send as many delegates you may require.
To Anhierarch: You may send three delegates, but if you wish, you may send more. In regards to your delegates carring weapons, we ask that you do not bring firearms into the building where the conference center will be, because with our laws, only on duty police and military personel have authorization to carry firearms. However, we would be more than willing to allow a unit of your troops to assist us with security of the summit. They will work with our Jaguar Warrior Infantry units (elite army infantry) and our Red Guard (Normal army).
All nations flying their delegates may land in the Veracruz International Airport and may stay at the Century Hotel.

What's the position of this conference concerning anarchism? Are anarchist nations accepted on it?
Aztec National League
25-11-2003, 02:30
Officaly, the ANL is neutral to Anarchy.
I suppose you could come. You are an anti-capitalist nation after all. I would say yes, especially if you are considering communism in your government or you want to etablish political ties with communist nations.

As a "fellow-traveller" nation, we'll dispatch a few diplomats to attend and a bring back a report. Don't expect any major speeches, though, they're primarily there on observation.
Aztec National League
25-11-2003, 03:42
Sure, you can send an observation party. The Aztec people will treat them no differently and they will be extended the same courtessies (sp?) and accomidations as any other nation attending the summit. You are after all, an "democratic socialist" nation.

Alright, while I will still accept a few more requests to join, a list of nations who are confirmed to send delegates have been formed:
Russian Forces
Tahar Joblis
Anhierarch
Soviet Trasa
Athamasha*
Likely/invited to come:
Attawar (I invited him)
Isla Saudade
If there is any other nation you would like to invite, please do so but please also let me know. (I will try to invite a few more) The meeting will not start until next week (OOC: I will be out of town for Thanksgiving) and will not be able to post (OOC: My mom's comupter has Netzero and we only have 10 hours of free internet service a month, and I already used 4 of them on this website alone.) I will soon post a itenerary for the summit. May peace be to you all comrades, and may communism live forever!

The People's Commonwealth of Beth Gellert wishes to make known its interest in providing a presence at the conference.
A Commonwealth Consul (an individual likely to be here after identified by the letters CC before his or her name) will likely be dispatched, conditions willing.
Of course we are sensitive to security concerns, and recognise that the vague nature of this communiqué may present problems.
As such, we hope to deploy a small GS (Gellert Sentinels- special forces/intelligence agency) unit to the ANL ahead of time, so that they may communicate directly ahead of any consular visit or last minute cancellation.
Commonwealth Professional Civil Service office comrade Graeme Igo has expressed a personal interest in the conference, and is likely to join any Beth Gellen delegation.
(We promise to keep him (Igo) under close observation against any possible efforts on his part to bring physical harm to the "corrupters of the revolution" he is likely to perceive.)

(As much a tag for interest as anything, but I hope to perhaps be around and inclined for involvement)

Please do come to the conference. It would be my honor to greet Beth Gellert's represenative(s) at the summit. I do understand the the communiqué was vague, but the rules in the ANL are quite liberal. The only things that are really against the law are:
-Firearms on civilans (on-duty police have the exception to the rule)
-While drug usage is looked down upon by our society, there are no anti-drug laws.
-Defacing property without proper authorization is illegal (If a person(s) have the authorization to do so, it is considered a mural)
-Buying weapons from the black market is ilegal
-Defacing temples (yes, we Aztecs are a religous bunch) and other "holy" sites is a jailable offence
-Private enterprise is illegal unless proper authorization has been granted to a person(s) by the government.
Pretty much anything is allowed, just take note of the top 5 things and you'll be just fine.
PUBLIC ADIVSORY NOTICE: Public nudity is allowed...

Not all that different from Beth Gellert, to be honest.
Religion is quite unheard of here, mind. Re-education facilities long since saw off the last lingering signs of Christianity. There is a small movement for serious exploration of the people's pagan routes, however.
Fire-arms may be found in civilian hands, but only with certain reservations. The Home Guard, for example, has some access to reasonably modern armaments, as it is supposed in some degree to be a citizen's militia against potential corruption of the revolution. Otherwise permits may be issued for assorted shotguns and bolt-action or single shot weapons, generally where they are important to the traditional way of life (game keeping, hunting, and such). An ancient British law (for BG, as so many nation states, was founded by primarily British explorers), never repealed is often observed here -it states that every Englishman over a certain age (12, perhaps, it escapes memory off hand) must keep a longbow by his bed. You know, in case the French try something funny..
Erm.. anyway, the point being that the CC and comrade Igo would not be armed, and would not be offended by being expected to remain so unarmed. (The infamous) Igo has become accustomed to wearing a light bullet-proof vest, however..
As for drugs.. well, Igo will almost certainly be drunk off his face, but that's about it.

We usually have our diplomats carried concealed weapons... is that okay? They're required to carry out a two-year pistol training course before they join the DiploCorps.

Both Attawan consuls will try to attend this conference, but since their is a evolving situation in Belarussian States, we will not be able to attend it long...

The Social Democratic leadership of the Commonwealth of Belarussian States will send its newly appointed Foreign Minister to this summit.
The Rt Hon Tatyana Ruskavoich has expressed great anticipation for this summit of Socialist nations.
Official Statement of the Ministry for Information
Commonwealth of Belarussian States
The First Minister of Moscow Free State will attend this summit.
We wish the nations in attendance the best, but wish to point out SeOCC will not be attending because we are not, in fact, communists. There seems to be some confusion regarding this point and felt obliged to clear up any misconceptions.

Since the conflict in Belarus was solved before Attawar was forced to send a force and protect Belarus, the Attawan delegacy will be able to attend the conference in ANL longer. New Cardassia surrendered inconditionaly. Attawar however is glad that they clearly made their point, and the goverment believes that they have done the right thing, and that in this way, they have made a new ally. The two consuls will still attend the conference in Belarus, and are planning to make new contacts and treaties...

To Beth Gellert:
No problems, comrade. Igo may wear a bullet proof vest. We will also have medics close by if he gets too drunk.
To Athamasha:
I certainly understand that your diplomats are concered with their safety, and I guess since all the diplomats except mine are foreigners, they can carry weapons if they wish. That's the same for everyone.
To Watfordshire:
I look forward to greeting your observer.
To Belarussian States:
Your new Foreign Minister and anyother Belarussain diplomats are welcomed to the conference.
To Moscow Free State:
I am glad to see you will attend.
To Attawar:
I am glad to see the issue in Belarussian states has settled down, allowing for your delegation to stay longer. Please feel free to come at your earilest convience and leave if you must. I certainly understand since we too have been involved in helping a fellow socialist state from conservative forces.
To all nations attending the summit:
I thank you all for asking to be part of the summit. Even though we are one of, if not the smallest and youngest nation that will be present, I consider it a great honor to see that so many larger and more powerful countries comming to this summit. I hope that with our combined effort, that we will accomplish much and inspire other nations to adopt the ways of the sickle and hammer. Peace and prosperity to all of you.
(OOC: I will telegram everyone who is attending the conference when I get the thread up next week.)
...New Cardassia...
Cardassians  (sorry, Star Trek humor)
The Confederacy of Patoxia would like to attend your summit. We will be sending a small party of diplomats including our Foreign Minister Charles H. Garland. We have looked over your laws you have stated, and have one question: What are your laws concerning swords? In our country it is a custom for citizens to carry swords. We look forward to your reply.
