The recently constructed Stellar Craft Accelerator achieved it's first goal this week as a manned space craft was shot into high orbit. The MSS-TRAGON is currently orbitting earth, in preperation for the arrival of further crew memebers and an eventual mission outside Mallbertan space.
For centuries, Mallberta has remained Earth-Bound; however in the name of diplomacy, prosperity and expansion it was decided a small stellar force was required. The MSS-TRAGON was thus built and deployed.
The Tragon is a solar-sail craft, propelled by photons emitted naturally from the sun. These photons act as a 'solar wind', interacting with the membranous sail of the craft as it travels from earth to it's various destinations. A large satellite light amplification battery is commisioned to allow artificial propulsion from earth's orbit.
