S.12: Education and Public Services Expansion Act is Enacted
S.12, a bill set to open over one hundred new schools and twenty-five new hospitals, as well as create over ten-thousand new jobs in wanted professions, was signed early this morning by Pilot President Scott Marshall Harris III. Appriopriated for forty billion dollars, the expansion will take advantage of the higher number of Pilot citizens going into education and medical-related fields. Location, development and construction to sites will be contracted to several companies, and should start sometime by the end of the year.
The money appriopriated for this project was approved by the Senate Appripriations Committee also this morning, and included funding for school supplies to schools with test grades in the lower 50th percentile and will fund many new medical projects.
