VTOL Research (Open, but Don't Try to Sell Me Anything)

Kaukolastan has, after testing our prototype VTOLs, decided to discontinue helicopter operations and convert to the more advanced design. However, the concept Gunships we created were too expensive to justify a military wide upgrade, and so we announcing our intent to develop a relatively cheap, effective VTOl craft. We would welcome any other country that shares our interest to join us in this endeavor.

We are not looking at the Harrier or Osprey design, but rather at the Thrust Vectoring Turbine concept. While more strenuous and expensive, the simulated performance increases outweigh the initial projected costs. We hope that the resulting design will allow us to advance our Force Projection abilities.

OOC: I realize that this will move me beyond Modern and into Postmodern/Near-Future Tech, but that's where I wanted to be originally. 8)

OOC: Ha. Well, do you have samoas? We love those. [/hijack]

IC: We are willing to pursue this research alone, as with our other projects, but we would like to establish relations with the international community.

Once again, we are proceeding on our own, apparently. Research is being headquartered at Aerodyne Industries and Regalis AFB.
