"Good morning. The sun shines on us once more and the months do speed past. Winter is apon us my friends and once more I am oblidged and pleased to deliver the State Of Union Address, for the eleventh consecutive occasion. As is written, now is the time where you will learn what Kaenei has achieved and implemented in the last twelve months. What I hope to outline, and achieve in the coming year and topics to numerous to attempt to describe immediatley here. Our time is short, so I shall move on with haste."
[ Socio-economical policies and changes..]
"Our economy continues as much it has done since the last time I addressed you. Our services continue to be sought throughout the hemisphere, and our extensive data processing and analytical abilities are being offered to those who would tempt us with what we ourselves require. Fourteen new manufacturing blocks have opened since last I addressed within City One, and I hope that many more will be operational before this period is out.
Educational outlets are being expanded across the Diakeriatana regions, with several totally dedicated recruitment and training complexes scheduled for completion in the next trisession.
Commerical export of Gravimetric-based technologies is almost at hand. I have completed my examinations into the viability and safety of releasing our own sought after methods of defying one of Nature's monst irrefutable forces, and I believe that the rewards to be gathered are too great to deny. Therefore I have instructed that preparations be made for this eventuality."

"These have been trying times. For the first instance in nearly four generations Kaenei called itself to war. Our forces descended apon the ice world known to native Terrans as Europa, and together with our most honoured allies, suitably extracted a heavy price on those responsible for our losses. However this was a costly mobilisation. The full cost of war, even with the most advanced computational models can never be truly calculated, and has proved to be heavy. Full dissemination is not yet avalible, but I have been lead to believe between thirty and forty five percent of our total avalible ground based HighGuard were disabled or destroyed. In addition, our orbital presence has been curtailed dramatically. Following the loss of our one of only two Benhji class capital ships, along with the third and ninth triad we estimate nearly seventy percent of our space based craft were eliminated. We have never been warlike, nor quick to cleanse in sword or flame. But I cannot allow us to remain as open to others as an unlocked gate, unbarred and unguarded. As such, Of yesterday I am substantially increasing military production and personnel training to recoup our fleet losses. In addition, production of Military grade gravimetric vessels will increase by a factor of at least forty percent. I understand treipdation and unease at my decsion, but you must, as my people and as your leader understand. Times are telling, and a great cloak of darkness is descending on our world. We may never again fully recall the light of peace. Ancient alliances have reformed, previously cast iron agreements broken in bickering and fueds. Forces of darkness too terrible to acknowledge stalk the lands. If they should come for us, we shall be ready."

"As of the time this address, Kaenei remains an active member of only one alliance, namely the Deus Ex Humana Consortium. Activley, I have been perusing through possibilities. Some have come to frustrating half measures, and others have simply not appealed. Rest assured the Union will only join a true partnership, one which gives as it recieves. Shortly, diplomatic invites may be issued in an effort to expand Kaeneian influence within the immediate subsection."

"A final matter of concern amongst a rising number is the apparent strife engulfing lower sectioned debating segments within the Conclave Arbitratus. I myself have witnessed that a rather unsual amount of minor legislative articles are drawing tremendous scope and criticism from scrutineers and elected alike. I can assure that this confusion and argument simply stems from the recently approved influx of observers from Yrilutanset, who are accustomed to passing their own minor acts in slightly different parallels to our own. No legislation deemed civilis gravitas or above is affected or discussed."
