Today, Prince Rufus Mew officially formed the Krowemohian Special Self Defense Force, or KSSDF (Kay Ess Ess Dee Eff) for short. At an international news conference, Prince Rufus Mew makes an announcement concerning the KSSDF...

*Standing in front of a podium, with his Turks standing to either side and behind him, Rufus Mew cleared his throat and spoke into the mic, amid a series of camera bulb flashes. Behind him stands the Krowemoh flag in it's full glory.*

Rufus Mew: "With the resurrection of the GDODAD and rise of the LAGD, Krowemoh, now more then ever, needs to protect itself and it's interests. The KSSDF will do exactly that. The KSSDF will be given exclusive use of all Metal Fakes currently in our arsenal."

*He pauses, looks over a sheet of paper on the podium, then continues.*

Rufus Mew: "A nation wide recruiting drive for the KSSDF is already in the works. All able bodied citizens between the ages of 17 and 37 are eligible to enlist, and are encouraged to do so."

Reno: "Rufus will now be answering questions. Please ask your questions one at a time."


((OOC: Since this is an international news conference, news reporters from different nations may be present. So in other words, if you got questions about the KSSDF, or about Krowemoh's stance on the GDODAD, or anything else you wanna know about, just ask and he'll answer to the best of my ability. ^^;; ))

"Excuse me sir, but you mentioned the resurgence of GDODAD, however GDODAD appears to pose no direct threat to you, is there another reason to begin this recruitment, or do you truly believe GDODAD has it's sights on this nation?"

"Mei Lik Suk, Scolopendran Independent News. What does the KSSDF replace? Certainly you had a standing military previous to this one."

"Excuse me sir, but you mentioned the resurgence of GDODAD, however GDODAD appears to pose no direct threat to you, is there a reason to begin this recruitment?"

Rufus Mew: "Although the rise of the GDODAD was one of the driving factors behind the formation of the Krowemohian Special Self Defense Force, it is not the sole cause. The KSSDF was formed for the singular purpose of defending Krowemoh from foreign aggressors, so that in the event of a war, and the Armed Forces are away overseas, this nation will not be completely defenseless. Next question, please."

I believe we still have an accord, Krowemoh. Therefore, I can also assure you that no harm shall come to you by GDODAD hands, I will see to it personally.

Rufus Mew: "The KSSDF will be replacing Krowemoh Army and Marine Corp assists within the nation."

I believe we still have an accord, Krowemoh. Therefore, I can also assure you that no harm shall come to you by GDODAD hands, I will see to it personally.

Rufus Mew: "You're reassurance is most comforting, Mr. Dreadfire. It is my hope that we can expect much the same from LAGD forces..."

*After fielding a few more questions, the Prince takes his leave and the conference is over.
An hour later, in the Shin-Ra Tower, Rufus confers with the Turks within the privacy and safety of the Tower.*

Rufus Mew: "Since we're letting GDODAD air units use our air, the LAGD is likely to see us as a supporter of the GDODAD. I want all overseas military personnel recalled and resigned to defensive duty all around the borders of Krowemoh. Mr. Dreadfire may be able to stop the GDODAD from attacking us, but I doubt he has much say over the LAGD."

Elena: "Wouldn't it just be easier if we got a Peace Treaty with the LAGD. We have one with the GDODAD, why not them too?"

Rufus Mew: "I thought about that. I will advise Minister Darkfur to seek a Peace Treaty with the LAGD."

*The Prince heads for the elevator, the three Turks begin to follow, but he stops them with a word.*

Rufus Mew: "I'm going to see my sister about this. If another world war is started, I doubt we can remain nuetral for long, nor keep our Peace Treaties with both the GDODAD and the LAGD."

*With that, he takes the elevator down, alone.*
