Political notice from the ruler of the USSANL (United Socialist States of the Aztec National League):

We are aware that an old alliance has come back to life, the GDODAD. We are also aware that cold war like tensions have taken hold between several tens, if not hundreds of nations. Yet, because my nation is such a young nation still, we have no opinion on the GDODAD. To form a good opinion, I will need facts and opinions from both sides-pro and anti GDODAD. Even though my nation is still very small and it can not compete economically and military compared to the other nations involved with this situation, however, I believe the ANL has it's place in the world political scene. I am not asking to become part of any alliance, I am merely asking for information. Thank you and may war be diverted and peace and prosperity be in the gobal community.

GDODAD was formed a long time ago (In a place far far away) and grew into a major Alliance. It basically destroyed all oppisition to it, including the fighting of two World Wars (IV and V), however it fell apart to infighting (and ignoring) and has seen several rebirths, but none have come close to what it's power once was. But still the name carries the fear of days long past, and it's newest incarnation has several new members who used to be anti-GDODAD.

It is an Alliance for Imperialist dictatorships, against forms of Democracy and most other styles of government. To demostrate what weight just the name alone carries, it has been re-birthed for less then two days now and already there is an Alliance dedicated to curbing it's reach (LAGD, which I am a part of and urge you to join).

It was actually about 10 hours.

GDODAD was a very messy alliance of fascist states intent on world domination. Due to large numbers of puny, insignifigant, 3rd world nations, it had a huge military. Huge, but neither well trained, well equiped, nor well led (with a few exceptions).

Despite this, it fought on multiple fronts more then once and often successfully due to sheer troop numbers. As such, it was feared mostly by other small, 3rd world, and unalligned nations.

Many nations who were (and some who still are) involved in other alliances had little fear for this coalition of dictators all trying to get their own way.

Contrary to popular revisionist history, GDODAD was never very successfull as an alliance and quickly fell apart. Multiple attempts by formor GDODAD leader nations to revive the fascist alliance have failed time and again.

Current Wazzu military analysts consider this GDODAD emergance to be a moderate threat. It has been a long time since the last major attempt to rebuild the GDODAD. As such, the world has seen the emergence of many new fascist governments entranced by the GDODAD's propagandist legend and unsoured by its harsh reality...that weaker dictators end up becoming pawns rather then independent leaders.

Still, the moderate threat alert is due partly to the possibility of invation of Wazzu, and mostly to the probability that this unstable political structure will reduce world trade, and thus corporate profits.

Wazzu sees the existance of the Reich and Arda alliances, much more successfull and stable then their GDODAD counterpart, as a potential reducing of the threat of GDODAD. Fascist leaders not so insane or easily manipulated are likely to join one of these two "more reasonable" alliances.

Arda I would consider far more menacing then GDODAD, it's just that Arda doesn't exactly do much anymore. GDODAD fell apart and seems it's always being brought back, so much that it has developed it's own legends (I was not around for it's "glory" days so much of my information is from what I've heard).

Note, the above is written from a Wazzu perspective.

Hmm, well, I have heard a lot against GDODAD, and there are several valid points made supporting your position but I do want to hear from member nations.

Even though we are a socialist/communist nation, we have a excellent civil and political rights track record, have an pristine envirnoment, non imperalistic, fully democratic, fully support the UN and UN process, and we are a peaceful nation (yet we will fight to the death if it is necisary, which has not been the case so far.) The only thing we really share with most communists nations is that we are anti-capitalist and we have a massive centeralized government. Universal healthcare, universal education...

It realy sucks that the WW5 threads where purged. We could present them.

I was a newbie during the last WW (WW5). So, I was unable to help the allies (anti-GDODAD). I feel though, that this will end in a WW6. BE AFRAID PEOPLE OF NS! BE VERY AFRAID! THOSE WHO ARE IGNORENT AND DO NOT LEARN FROM HISTORY ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT!

being resurrected and part of the origional GDODAD :oops: i can tell you this. it was a horrible system of too many nations to succesfully mobilize, the list of members used as backing force by the leaders, but smaller nations (like i was) had absolutely no clout and were forced to participate in wars. now i'm a member of LAGD, and i'm on a list with numbers. says a lot about that organization, a list with numbers does. :wink:


seriously, though, join LAGD, not GDODAD.

I'm joining Nither. Will I support your actions, I am not going to take sides before the conflict actualy starts. The last thing I need right now is 15-20 Giant Veteran nations after me.

The LAGD will fall into ruin, as they all have, people will see that the GDODAD does not mean to take over the world, and is not a massive state of Godmodders, and that the members are actualy nive people. Seriously, the GDODAD will probably just hang around and do relitavly little, exept defend its' members.

The great power of the former GDODAD will unlikely be matched again. In the years leading up to the fifth world war that was lost to the CDA, the strength of the GDODAD was a level that no nation, group of nations, or allied organization could come close to matching. Unfortuneatly, the now defunct CDA [citizens defense alliance] crushed the GDODAD, causing mass chaos for some and happiness for others.

They then attempted to reform as The Dominion. The dominion really didn't participate in much as an organization. There were no big wars, no attacks on the UWB, nothing. Eventually it fell apart because of Steel. Now, reformed again, we hope to bring back the evil that once existed in the world. The fear and the terror caused by GDODAD's roving hordes of invaders. The multiple nuclear missiles fired and craters formed, and of course, the friends that you make when in such a strong alliance.

Through evility, all shall conquer.

OOC: ATTN GDODAD Members: You do know that the owner of former Klamath has a new nation now that I gave to him right? Geforce4 was my first nation that I gave to klamath after he was turned down for revival. Might want to TM him about re-joining.
