The assembled crowd of spikey-haired rowdies is assembled outside a building with a big yellow police-tape ribbon at the door. The walls would be clean and sparkling except for the graffiti near the door saying "Wez is the alien elvis baby!"
The Big Cheese, Wez Wormsworth, stands next to the police-tape barrier holding a large machete. "Hey! Shut the fuck up already!" He waits as the crowd grows silent, save for a few shouts of "You're a fakkin poser!"
A quick flip of the bird shuts up any other hecklers. "Alright! Now i'm opening this auto factory so some of you idiots would have something better to do than raid my beer stash! So let's have at it!" He swings the machete down and cuts the tape. The crowd starts yelling and shooting small arms into the air.

A large garage door opens to the left and the first military car guns its engine and rolls out of the factory. "We're gonna need quite a bunch of these, so make it snappy!" He walks over to the auto, and runs his hand along it. "This baby is sweeeeet! Think i'll call it the Rat!" He climbs onto the back and cocks the .50 calibre auto-gun in a swivel mount, and makes an "Ack ack ack ack" noise.
"I pronounce the Rat City auto factory open! Now let's get pissed up!"

OOC: A few stats of the Rat for those that want to know.
The engine is 250 hp hydro-electric tritium-powered engine. It can go for extended journeys of up to 2 days of constant use before needing a refueling. AM/FM stereo with CD player and short-wave communications, GPS and direction finding mini-map. The independent wheel-pod suspension systems is operated by an on-board computer that reads the terrain ahead, and lifts or lowers the wheels independently of each other to compensate, allowing greater control at higher speeds on or off road.
Speed: Cruising 120 kph on road, 80 kph off. Max 240 kph on road, 140 kph off. Climb capacity is 42 degree hill.
It's cargo capacity is 5 people and 1 to crew the vehicle and an additional 800 lbs.
Weight is approximately 1.5 tons empty, and it's length/width/height is
18'/ 7'/ 6'.
Armament: Swivel-mounted .50 calibre cannon. Ammo box contains 1500 rounds of belt-fed ammunition.
We've estimated the costs for building a single unit to be about 20,000 USD and project 5000 per year can be built.
