Into The Tower!
*The lone Kaukolastan VTOL craft flew through the nation of Krowemoh, it's destination: The Shin-Ra Tower. Even before it entered the capitial city, the massive seventy story tall structure could be seen. It was the tallest building in Krowemoh, and representated the capitialisitc nature of the Krowemohian government. No sooner then the VTOL entered into the capitial, then a pair of Krowemohian Stealth Patrol Helicopters intercepted it. The Stealth Helicopters sported a single M134 Chaingun at the nose, and two air-to-air missile pods on the short, stubby "wings" protruding to either side. A message was broadcasted to the VTOL craft.*
Interceptor Helicopter 1: "You are entering restricted air space. Immediately deviate from your current flight path and redirect to Krowemoh International Airport. This is your only warning. Failure to comply WILL result in a hostile confrontation."
*Yumi was sound asleep, curled up into a small ball on the back seat next to Kerrik.
The other Helicopter was radioing ahead to the Tower to prepare Anti-Air defenses, just to be safe.*

Kerrik woke up to the sound of commotion in the cockpit. "Huh? What?" he mumbled.
The Crew Chief looked over. "We've arrived, and we're very much not welcome near that tower. Care to wake her up? We kinda need to convince them not to open fire."
"Yeah." Kerrik said. "Hey? Wake up." he stated gently. "We're here."
*Yumi's eyes opened slowly, and she shook her head.*
Yumi: "Huh? Oh, we're here? Okay, lemme get you past the Air patrol."
*She uncurls herself, and leans forward, speaking into the mic to helicopter.*
Yumi: "This is Yumi Mew. Stand down your weapons immediately. This aircraft is taking me back to the Shin-Ra Tower."
Interceptor 1: "Yumi? Please wait while we verify your vocal pattern..."
Yumi: "It's me you fricking dolt! God damn, what is your name?"
*Yumi was very demanding, and more then a little scary sounding.*
Interceptor 1: "Um... Vocal pattern confirmed. Welcome back, young mistress. Would you like us to escort your craft back to the Tower?"
Yumi: "Hey! I asked your name Goddess damnit! Don't change the subject!"
Interceptor 1: "Uh... I-I'm Captain Bernard Linkowa."
Yumi: "We got it from here, Captain Linkowa. Carry on."
*She gave the pilot the thumbs up and sat back, and looked at Kerrik.*
Yumi: "He's SO fired. Questioning my identity like that, sheeeeit..."
*The two helicopters pulled away and resumed their normal air patrol route.*

Kerrik laughed a little as the VTOL settled onto the pad. "Maybe I could fire off the Chaingun and then play innocent..." He shrugged. "Well, let's see this Tower, eh?"
The crew chief threw open the door.
*The helipad was on floor sixty, the restricted levels of the Tower were above this floor, all the way up to floor seventy. The structure itself was like any skyscraper, it had a wide base and got narrower the taller it went. Massive spotlights continuely swept the night sky. A trio of Nekos dressed in dark blue suits were aiting for Yumi and Kerrik as they stepped off the VTOL. Yumi recognized them instantly.*
Yumi: "The Turks... Those are my uncle's personal hitmen. They do all of his dirty work."
*She explained quietly to Kerrik as the red haired neko spoke up. The blonde female neko next to him eyed Kerrik, sizing him up.*
Reno: "Yumi, we've been looking for you. Who is this... Human?"
Yumi: "He's my boyfriend, so lay off."
Reno: "Another one? That's the third one this month alone."
Yumi: "Reno, shut up."
*She looked at Kerrik.*
Yumi: "Don't pay him any mind. He's only joking, isn't that right?"
*The last three words were said in that tone that suggested Reno had better agree if he knew what was good for him.*
Reno: "As you wish. Come on, Rude, Elena. We got work to do. Oh, I almost forgot, Princess Janus wants to see you, immediately."
*The three take their leave, heading into the only door leading into the Tower.*

Kerrik nods, information logged silently, but unfazed. "Your lead." he motioned forward. "Friendly, aren't they?"
*Yumi lead into the Tower. She spoke to Kerrik over her shoulder.*
Yumi: "Yeah, a real charming bunch. Hey, you wanna just head straigth for 'My Room' or go see Mother Dearest for her 'approval' of you first. Truthfully, I'd rather not see my mom right now, I just saw her two days ago and I can still feel the bile in my mouth."
*It was obvious she didn't like her mother much. As she said the words 'My Room,' she slightly tilted her head towards a security camera in the corner, which, currently was focused on the door they were standing in front of.*

"Well, forgiveness is easier than permission." He tilted his head. "Let's go to your room."
*Yumi leads the way to the nearest elevator, and slides a card through a card reader.*
Yumi: "There, elevator survailance is turned off."
*She thumbed the button labeled 2.*
Yumi: "Okay, so you wanna head for Factuly 312 first? Just making sure first, you know?"

Kerrik nodded. "Yeah, you said you didn't want to deal with family... Besides, speed is imperitive in raids of all kinds." He racked the bolt on the PDW. "Guns blazing, or be nice?"
*Yumi shakes her head.*
Yumi: "Be nice. Don't want the Shin-Ra Internal Security all over us too early, ya know? You got a silencer for that?"
*The elevator slid down the shaft, the LCD showing the current floor number. They were just entering the forties.*

Kerrik shook his head. "Sorry, this is a defensive weapon. No silencer." he tucked it back into his jacket. "I did raid the VTOL supplies though..." he pulled out a silenced USP 9mm and checked the LAM. "I have a few pounds of C4, too, but I hope we don't need that." he opened his jacket to show a fake lining. "Right now I'm a damned suicide bomber." he quipped.
*Yumi rolled her eyes as Kerrik showed off the fake lining of his jacket.*
Yumi: "Just be careful you don't accidently blow yourself up, yeah?"
*She taps her foot as the elevator just now reached the thirties.*
Yumi: "That's what I hate about the Shin-Ra Tower, it takes forever to get from the top to the bottom."

"Well, I kinda prefer the slow way down." Kerrik stated slyly. "So, what exactly are we gonna have to pull, here?"
OOC: G'night!
((OOC: Night. ^_^))
*Yumi shrugged.*
Yumi: "That Old Guy wants me to rescue one of his pupils who is in Factulty 312. Apparently she got framed for trying to assassinate someone in the government, and is being held in Factulty 312. He said she's been there for five months. If she's been down there for that long, then most likely she's dead, especially for the crime she's accused of. But the Old Guy said she's still alive. So if she's not dead, then she's probably insane. Hmmm... So yeah, just a prison break, basically. You'll probably want info on Factulkty 312, too?"
*Kerrik nods.*
Yumi: "It's a torture and execution facility located underground beneath the Shin-Ra Tower. Only people who know about it are me, mom, and the other members of the Royal Family. The people who work there are all clones. I believe it's about thirty stories down, not too sure. I've only been in it once, and got to the fifth floor before I got caught. From what I saw of the first five levels, it seems not too bad. I asked my uncle Rufus, who's very cool, by the way, about it, and he told me all I know about it now. He told me how all the worst crimminals are sent there to die, and that everyone who works down there are clones. He made me swear not to tell anyone about it... So that means if you go blabbing..."
*She smirked, held her hand opened, and made a small ball of fire in her palm, then blew on it and turned it into ice.*

Kerrik raised an eyebrow and shows little other sign of acknowledgement, but every bit of data, including the threat, was catalogued perfectly and labelled for future use. "Of course." he stated. "Now, shall we get to work?"
*The elevator finally reached floor 2, and the doors slid open. Yumi steps out.*
Yumi: "Follow me."
*She leads away from the elevator to the gift shop near by. She waves to the girl behind the counter.*
Yumi: "Hello."
*The girl working the register nods in greeting to her and Yumi walks beyond that to a door in the back. Pulling out a keycard, she inserts it and pulls it out, the door chiming and opening.*
Yumi: "In here..."
*She steps in, Kerrik following, the door shutting behind them automatically. The room they find themselves in is very plush, including a large comfortable looking couch and minibar. Besides the one door, there doesn't appear to be any other way out, and the air vents are too small to crawl through. Yumi goes to the north wall, and puts her hands on it.*
Yumi: "Let's see... I believe the switch is... Here!"
*She presses a small indentation, and a section of the north wall receeds, sliding aside to reveal a elevator.*
Yumi: "Express Elevator to Factulty 312, going down!"
*She steps in, waiting for Kerrik to follow suit.*

He steps in. "What about the security lower than here? Surely it has an independant system?"
Yumi nods as the elevator door slides close.*
Yumi: "Yeah, they do, but it's not all as tight as you think it would be. I mean, I managed to get to level five before getting caught, so what dose that tell you?"
*A camera kept eye on them in the elevator, the mic picking up their convo. On the first floor of Factulty 312, a security team was dispatched to the elevator door to capture the intruders.*

Kerrik was removing his safety when the door opened. He saw the Team. "Shit." he muttered.
He recovered quickly, the gun vanishing before it could be seen. "Hey, fellas. I was looking for the little boys room and seem to have gotten a little lost. Could you tell me where it is?" he stepped up to the lead guard like a nagging servant. "Oh dear, this isn't the subbasement." he spun, the USP pressed to the guard's neck, the guard in a suppression hold between him and the others, his back to a wall. "Whoops. Got lost."
*Yumi gasped as she saw the team. Kerrik managed to get one of them in a supression hold, and Yumi acted quickly, throwing her hand forward towards the rest of the guards, hitting them with a massive psychokinetic shockwave. The guards were all set flying like ragdolls.*
Yumi: "Um, I guess security has gotten tighter since the last time I was here..."
*Most of the guards were knocked out by Yumi's shockwave She turned towards the guard Kerrik captured.*
Yumi: "Let's go to where all the information about the prisoners here are stored, shall we?"

The pistol poked the guard in the head to remind him to cooperate. Kerrik shoved him forward and followed a step behind, the laser sight never leaving the man's heart.
*The man, although a clone, rather enjoyed living, and although the knowledge that if he died that there were more who could replace him was comforting to some degree, he still didn't want to die. And so he cooperated with the man, leading them to where the information about the prisoners was kept: A computer. Yumi groaned.*
Yumi: "Should have known they'd keep this stuff on a computer. Um, Kerrik, you're not by any chance, a hacker, are you? I get the feeling we're going to have to break a few codes to get the info we want."
So now is it over the bridge and through the woods, up the tower to grammothers house we go?

Kerrik shrugged self-consciously. "Still learning Electronic Warfare. I don't know the system well enought to be any good. Why don't you try to use your access to override it."
*Yumi shrugs, pulls out her personal ID card, and slides it through the computer's card reader. A prompt pops up, accessing for her PIN, which she inputs, then she clicks enter. A moment passes as the computer checks her id, then the words "Acess Denied" flash on screen.*
Yumi: "Damn! Hmmm..."
*She looks at the guard.*
Yumi: "You. Access the prison's files. Now."
*The guard blinks.*
Guard: "Me?"
Yumi: "No, your mom. Yes you nitwit!"
*The guard looks at Kerrik, then Yumi, then seems resigned to comply.*
Guard: "Oh, oh right..."
*With that he enters his information and overrides the security, then is promptly pushed aside by Yumi.*
Yumi: "Keep an eye on him, I'm gonna check the records for the past five years..."

Kerrik spun the USP and waited. The guard started to twitch, and the USP stopped spinning, the LAM lining up on the man's face. "Don't." The guard hunkered back, his idea countered.
*After typing a series of inquiries to the computer, Yumi ahas in victory.*
Yumi: "There's been only one human female admitted to this facility in the past five years. I'm positive it's her... Um... Uh oh... She's shediculed to be executed tonight, midnight... It's... 10PMish... We gotta run, she's all the way on floor 58... Damn, that's hella far."
*She turns to the guard, smiles then swings her hand at him, striking the guard without touching him. his head urned sharply to one side and there is a loud snap sound as the clone's neck is snapped by the powerful Psychic slap Yumi gave him. His body slumps to the floor, lifeless.*
Yumi: "Let's roll."

Kerrik glanced as the man fell. "There was no need to kill him." he stated coolly, but he followed nonetheless. "It's a good bet they know we're here by now."
*Yumi shrugged as they left the adminastration office and headed for the elevators.*
Yumi: "He was just a clone. There's a million more exactly like him where he came from."

"Waste not..." Kerrik murmurred to himself, closing the mans eyes. He popped two pennies from his back pocket and placed them in the guard's eyes. He muttered something else and stood. The alarm began to ring, and he sneered a little. "Now the fun begins."
*Yumi frowned, and turned to Kerrik.*
Yumi: "Damn... This means the Turks are gonna come. I don't want to hurt them... We'll burn that bridge when we get to it. Come on, we gotta go to the elevator and get down."
*She turned, paused, and spun to face Kerrik.*
Yumi: "You got another gun I can use?"

26-11-2003, 09:13
Kerrik tipped his head, grinned slyly. "Glad you asked." He reached under his shirt, removed a pistol from an under-shoulder holster. "This is a USP Compact. Nine millimeter semi-auto, laser sighted, and suppressed. It's loaded with JHP, cop killers. They'll slide through body armor and expand inside the body. Deadly stuff, but a little short on range and power." he holstered his own USP and drew the PDW. He swung the pistol grip down, triggered the laser sight. Holding it on his shoulder, he moved a grenade belt to the outside. "You know how to handle wire grenades?"
*Yumi shook her head.*
Yumi: "I'm no Death Squad Commando. I'm just the Princess' daughter."
*She holds the USP gingerly in her hands, watching Kerrik closely.*
Yumi: "We really should hurry."

26-11-2003, 09:37
"Okay." he tightened his belt. "Personally, I'd prefer a carbine in here, maybe a MG, and some sniper cover..." he sighed. "You're right. Speed is our only option. The hard part will be getting back out."
*Yumi started for the elevators.*
Yumi: "There's plenty of time for talk and wishing on the elevator!"
*She ran full tilt for the elevator, knowing that Kerrik was right behind her. The trip was short, the elevators not that far away from administration. Yumi thumbed the button labeled "Down." The LCD screen above the door flashed to life. The car was on floor 10, they would have to wait for it to come up.*
Yumi: "Ah... Man... I hate waiting!"
