DBC Newflash:
The Dionoponeran Minister of Trade, Atta Formica, has tendered his resignation after a number of countries approached the Dinoponeran Government with allegations regarding the mis-selling of uranium. It is alleged that the minister approached countries attempting to sell 'fissionable' uranium stocks which were later revealed to be stocks of the non-fissile U-236. Mr Formica denied the allegations and promised to fight in the courts to clear his name.
Industry commentators believe this represents a significant set-back to the Dominion's ambition to become a major player in the international uranium markets.
President Tee has made no comment regarding the resignation and is believed to be distancing himself from Mr Formica's actions.
