Warchief kidnapped! (Open RP)
Dictator Hrrachen paced back and forth in his study, very nervously. Warchief Grimzag Deathjaw had been missing for an entire week now, and they had heard nothing from him. Not even a little bit of carnage that they could trace back to him.
Finally, Hrrachen sat down at his finely varnished oak desk and pressed his intercom. "Miss Barnes? Would you send in the gentleman from the messaging dept? Thank you."
He leaned back in his leather chair, which made a satisfying creak, just as a young man in a white suit walked in, with a laptop under his arm.
Hrrachen motioned to a chair and said, "Take this message and send it on the long range transmitter. I want everyone on this planet to hear this.
"On the 13th of November, Warchief Grimzag Deathjaw of Dregruk went missing. We found evidence that he had spent part of the night in his quarters, but then left at some time near 2 o'clock. We have had no contact from him since. All nations willing to co-operate, please send some teams to help us find him. Dead or alive."
Hrrachen uttered the last sentence like a surrender. As tough as Grimzag was, the odds of him still being alive were slim to nil. Hrrachen nodded to the man, who stood up and ran to the messaging department.

Modern, but we'll drop into pseudo-science. And a few bits and bobs about Demons. But let's try to keep this reasonably realistic.
(Modern? Right. From the whole 'warchief' thing i thought it was orcs and the like. Ok then)
"Sir, we're reciving a call for a search."
*They listened to the request*
"Sounds simple enough. Me and my 5 best troopers will go after this Warchief"
"Yes Sir"
The team of six set out 1stly for Dregruk high command, for a better understanding of the situation...
A messenger ran into Dictator Hrrachen's office. "Sir! Sir! We have picked up a signal from another nation, concerning our search for Warchief Deathjaw, sir!"
Hrrachen nodded.
"Make sure they are brought to me the moment they land. And for God's sake man, keep transmitting that signal! We need more help!"
The band of guerrillas slowly walked through the mountain, with their prize right in the middle. He was blindfolded, beaten, hardly breathing but walking as fast as the rest of them. Their pace didn't hurt a military man like warchief Deathjaw.
Needlessly, every five minutes or so the band hunkered down and waited for some signs of human life which might be trailing them. Ever since they had executed their plan perfectly and snuck into the Warchief’s quarters and kidnapped him without any incident, they had been suspecting that someone, anyone, would be trailing them.
Their leader, Nathan Holn, head of the Holnist band of anarchist revolutionaries, and also former guru of the Holnist movement, was the first to get up and walk a few feet ahead.
“Men, we’re almost there. No one has even seen us yet, and we’re just about at the cabin. Once we’re there, we’ll set up the equipment and broadcast our message. Then, we’ll see just how powerful this dictatorship really is.”
His men all smiled as they thought of the completion of their assignment. Inwardly, they were excited and scared about what was to come… they were, after all, planning a full-fledged revolution. The money and men were pouring in from all over the world. Their leader was a myth. The time was ripe to show the world they meant business.
First, however, they had to travel the last couple of hours to their cabin on this desolate mountain without being seen, and get their captive to say what they wanted. But they had the tools for that…

OOC: Civilized Orcs is a statement I resent. We are humans, but Grimzag could be considered an human Orc. But he is, in fact, a half-demon.
IC:
Grimzag started to laugh when he heard the leader's statement.
"I bet you guys really have this all sussed, don't ya? I mean, you've got Warchief Deathjaw, the country's bound to be in a state of panic, right?"
He shook his head.
"They don't care where I am. They know I'll get out of this alive. You, on the other hand," He turned his head towards where he reckoned the leader was, "You're survival here is looking slim-to-nil. Not that it matters, I'd wager my next 5 years pay that you're being manipulated by a higher power without your knowledge. So why don't you just pack up, leave and I won't put a good number of bullets into you, hmm?"
Dear citizens and leaders of Dregruk. I am going to send a few scouts in hope to find your warchief, however we need a description on how he would look like, for it is practically impossible to find someone with the sign floating about his head saying "Im a kidnapped warchief come rescue me".

About 45 scouts come flying across towards where the signal was heard. They use the weapons they have gotten from Celeborne and fly onward with great speed.
They softly land on the docks/pads with their wings fluttering and walk into the entrance with their tails curled.

OOC: Zarlo, I appreciate your contributions to this thread, but I'd like to keep this as realistic as possible. If you read any other Grimzag thread (If any are left, having said that...), you'll see that it's mostly realistic, apart from the whole "Half-Demon" thing. I'll be quite happy to continue to RP with you, provided you change your guys to humans. No offense intended.

It didn't used to be like this... If you started a thread, you'd be guaranteed to have people join. Not anymore! Oh no, instead, people just lurk. Or spend all their time in the General forum and never join an RP.
