OOC: I do not intend to have super Saiyans until I am at least three hundred million, nor do I intend to have those Saiyans who are just under super Saiyan for some time

(OOC Personally I hate Dragonball Z, but if you wanna rp it, feel free. Just do not do this as an excuse to have people flying about blowing up planets with a Kami-kami har or whatever it is called, it can be a tempation to have a character which can totally destroy everything and never be harmed. Personally, I prefer characters who have vices and have a certain vunerablity wheter in war or peace, i.e self doubt etc. Of course.. you might like a different kind of rp. Just my two cents.)

The government of Foolish Pesants welcomes the new Saiyan envoys, in a call for a mutually beneficial alliance with gains to be had on both sides...

Also the rates of hire are very good considering all they'll be doing is training under close observation.....

(OOC I mean like a human being has obvious weakness. Elfs have weakness'. Vampires have weakness. I am not just talking about combat, I am talking about thier mental health too, like what they experiance etc. YOu just have to think with your characters, this is what I do anyway, "What would my character feel? What would I do if I was in his position and I had been in his shoes".)

Seriously, if you can pull it off without being completely over the top, 'twould be good. Not a DBZ fan myself, and the premise is notorious for... well, overpoweredness, but if you can avoid that, it could be interesting.

It was ok up until the point where Goku beat Frieza then it got all crap... plus, there is only so much bad plot I can take.

Basically, I think it would work ok if you RPed the Saiyan planet/nation and had them about as powerful as Raditz (sp) from the start of the show. Becuase they never really had Super Saiyans with very rare exceptions... and to get them you have to RP a long and hard journey of fighting, training and near death... which seems to work. If it is RPed ok, then go with it, I won't have a go...

However, I think you will find people don't like being told that their bullets don't work so be careful on that one, I for one have Gauss Rifles which are basically guns which fire a magnetic peice of metal at high speed using electromagnetic coils. They have no in game effect when I'm at war, they are just assault rifles, but in a RP they become nasty guns (providing the RP is high powered; otherwise I stick to "random joe" issue rifles).

Just RP it heavily and you will be fine... oh, and don't say you are saving the world all the time... or at least don't ask for recognition from other nations if you do, becuase it wasn't our end of the world.

I agree with you there. Part of the reason I hate Dragonball Z, it is so melodramatic. I am trying to remove this sense of dramatics from my rps, as in veryone must rely on this hero etc. More like a hard stuggle of normal people.

Really? I thought everyone disliked DBZ because it had THE most predictable storylines ever.(What's that monsters threaten the world?? Go get Goku! I've gotta watch my TV show...) Personally I like DBZ but more for characters like Vegeeta(sp) and Raditz(watch the birdie...) Now if you can RP characters like that i'm sure you could get away with most things scott free...
