OOC: Don't lynch me -- I wrote this in about 3 minutes. I've been busy today. But the NSN will definately grow much bigger and more comprehensive as time goes on. Thanks!

IC: Excerpt from today's issue of the NSN:

Today, in an unanticipated move by the
Armed Republic of Jere (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=Jere), a
nation of 62 million in the
1000 Nations (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_region/region=10000_islands) region,
a Jerian naval force was sent in a "show of force" to the shores of Boyzici. Reasons were not given for the action,
until later, when a Jerian spokesperson said that the move was a result of heated tensions between the two nations
involving differing views on homosexuality. Upon being questioned further, the spokesperson said, "We will not be
forced into negotiation with Sodom and Gomrah; We will fight. We will win. God is on our side." Delegates from Ulaan Bator
and TOR immediately denounced this as a reasonable excuse for armed warfare, and joined what is being called the
'Blackbird Coalition' pledging their military to the defense of Boyzici. The 'Blackbird Coalition' consists currently of
Tokarev, New South Illiniwek, Tophnia, Dezarius, Malajhaliza, Black Bird, SAWand60, Ulaan Bator, Malajhaliza, Smacktards
and The Order of Reptiles (TOR), each country of which has sworn their support of Boyzici to some extent or another.
The Coalition fleet consists of over five hundred ships and more than a thousand troops.
In a press release issued by the Jerian High Council, the government states that "The nation of Boyzici has
sent our nation several of telegrams offering us homosexual fun in their nation. Our goverment is against such sin
and we will attack." When told by TOR that the assault would be unsuccessful and being warned to call it off, the High
Council countered by saying that any military action taken against it would be blocked by submarines, and mentioned the
possible use of nuclear weapons.
Most countries doubted the proposition that Jere would have nuclear weapons, but it is possible, although the weapons
would have to have been purchased, as there has been no sign of any mining of uranium inside the borders of Jere.
More on this story will be issued tomorrow.

It's just an example of what will one day become a far more meaningful endeavor.

The Republic of Boyzici respectfully wishes to point out the absence of any telegrams produced by Jere as proof.

Indeed, the original communication between Jere and Boyzici can be viewed at http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=92478&highlight=
